Adam turned his back,
There is no one holier than me and the life I am.
My Lord, you are a man with complex much too far indulged by the only people who have ever loved you.
You were a peasant, a pauper, a campesino
Left behind family for the God that left you.
To answer you Lord,
I am tending to my cows, my chickens, my pigs
Waiting for the day you wake up and see,
I was born from nature itself, not the fists of a man
Too arrogant to both love and accept all the brothers and sisters,
You left behind, trying to reinvent yourself.

The wind carries voices from the past.
Words of ex-lovers thinking they were my last.
Foolish -
To ever think you could put beauty on display.
There is no containing the wilderness we crave.

t's hard to relax
With all of this train of thoughts

You shine like the brightest of stars, you burst with such a brilliance that wipes out everything in your path. Your smile tears down cities, and your laugh moves mountains. Flames dance in your eyes when you see how bad you destroy me, and I love it. You are wild, you are free, you are everything I want to be. You move like the wind blows under your feet and you speak like all the words in the world lay perfectly on your tongue. God I’m falling into the trap. I’ve fallen for the way you smile like everything in the world is beautiful. I’ve fallen for the color of your hair, bright and vibrant like a sunset. I’ve fallen for that glint in your eyes when you look at me, as if I am beautiful too.
