Emergency, emergency
Can't you see in my eyes the urgency
They pulled the thread
Then off they fled
My skin it spread
Out I bleed
Nothing more needs to be said
You write in emergency
But you cause yourself your own problems
Stop saying heavy words to just backpedal on it days later
Quit practicing backpedaling when you're not even a bicyclist.

You see smoke, you see fire;
You think it was a shorting wire.

In this time of rush you run for everything to stop the blaze;
Before all of the town will see your smokey haze.

Finally a fire crew arrives and your rush turns to hope;
Even it is a total loss that you have to cope.

So here is a message where your day turns into an emergency that is not much fun;
PLEASE DIAL 911!!!
While living with my dad in 2002, his motorhome caught fire while I was out. This describes what happened.

Sirens signal my coming
with chirps and wails,
Primary lights flashing
to alert them to my presence.

My purpose pumps from a well
that is endlessly deep --
so deep, in fact, that
many shallow people have drowned here.

I don't falter, I don't pause,
I act with precision and skill
to give my charge his best chance
at seeing tomorrow.

Gloriously efficient,
Confidence and purpose
radiate from me
as my insides quiver with fear.

as the disgruntled, sleep deprived EMT announced her condition.
Arriving on scene, they tended to her,
then loaded her with care.
I sit in my warm, tucked away office as i feel
a slight prickling on my arms.
The chilled air which fills the night wafts into the ER,
as they wheel in her body.
Flashes of red - lashes of red as her son
releases tears onto her bed.
Placid, up-turned face masked with displaced comfort,
despite the plastic rod protruding from her mouth.
Her husband leans in and
so gently he kissed her, so gravely he missed her.
“Call it. 4:40.”
Her arms tucked away beneath her,
as she has fallen asleep for the last time.
Covered by blankets, preserving her last, final warmth.
She will soon turn cold.
The light has left her eyes, in the distance are cries.
Her monitor displays her state,
while her family gathers around, chilling the night with -
static tones and stoic moans.

Paris was targeted on Friday the 13th,
It's an evil incident further defaming it,
Now would be bolstered the superstition,
Sad...

when she stops writing about you,
it's time to sound the alarms

I Thought
I Lost A "Good Woman"
That trauma caused my pulse
to lay flat on a gurney
Ambulance Sirens of Dire Emergency
Rang loud in my eardrums
On my way to
The Heartbreak
Came to find out
It was a
FALSE ALARM
Hallelujah!!
I'm Alive
But will not ever allow
myself to be swindled again
It is hazardous to my health
Amen!
Played a lot of roles in life , but never played the victim :)
I sit in this hospital
For someone else that isn't me
Instead, for someone finally trying to be
The person that's underneath all of those bottles

We thought you'd scream and fight
Instead it was almost like we had reached
Your destination of the beach

As we pulled in you freaked
A little about the record
And what they would think of you
You, black pants and no shoes

Really, though -
Who could not respect
A young man standing tough
In the waiting room of an emergency room
Finally accepting help

Lifeless stones in peace,

How many more tears to fall?

The mountain shudders.
To the many lives lost to the earth and mountain in Nepal, 25th and 26th April 2015.

Peace be with you all.
