Uneven
Without substance, void of faith
Unresolved
Seeking facts among the fiction
Untapped
For the price seems too steep
Unfavored
Privilege lost that was never had
This heart is blackstone, hollow within
Day to day, sinking further down
Useless
Fake a smile of sincerity,
For all the world's a stage, and we are but merely actors
Or whatever Shakespeare meant.
Reveal yourself, masked man
Uncover the fear you bring
In a cloak of anxiety and dread
For these lay dormant yet dominant within this vessel
From this side of the mirror, it is all you will ever see

How can you bare to look at yourself in the mirror?
To claim that cheating face — the one that spit out irrevocable lies — as your own.
As you stare into your smoldering eyes, all you find is an eternal disgrace of your name, your family, and your humanity.
Not even a hero could locate the dignity that been retracted from every source in your body.
In essence, you represent hopelessness.
The pitiful source where we must never direct our wishes to.
After years and years of crumbling, your process of collapsing has begun, but only to suddenly end in a silent thud.
A noise that will never be recognized by the ears of mankind.
You are your own worst critic.

He finally said he loved me.
I write this out with a smile on my face.
I feel as if I'd explode with glee,
he makes me feel like I'm in outer space.

I float as if I'm top of cloud nine,
I don't care what's to come.
All I know is that he is finally mine,
and he's as sweet as bubble gum.
Love, Hurt, Repeat. The forever lasting process.

Today I'm feeling somewhat low,
sure enough, my uninvited guest yet again visits me,
And on so many levels has filled my gullible mind with all doubt and negativity,
Yep, Impossible visits me frequently,
Mostly when I'm alone, can't sleep and in bed,
"You'll never accomplish that" it sniggers, well those are some of the words I hear in my head.

"Enough!" I say unto Impossible,
"You are not welcome here any more,
At long last, your information you repeatedly feed me, I don't believe and will no longer store,
I know and now see you Impossible,
Your simply impossibility imposed on me.
I've recently got to know possible,
Who is more of a support in my time of need."

Lesson; Whenever you think things are impossible,
Remember this poem you've read.
That all things are truly possible,
Impossible aims to reside in your head.
If
If I had stoped doubting
And just kept myself contented
With what you were willing to offer
Would we have not
Lost it all?

If I did not try too hard
And cried as I yearned for you
In times we were apart
Would you have stayed
In my trembling arms?
We fail life's great expectations
As we doubt our own thoughts
Falling short because of all these
Limitations and hesitations
Whispers heard through out the night
Saying that they know all the truths
Don't let their lilac tongues fool you
They know of nothing
For their merely voices

my heart aches.
what could have been?
memories flood.
who would I be?
tears fall.
why did I go?
hiraeth: a homesickness for a home that you cannot return to; the nostalgia, the yearning, the grief for the lost places of your past
