I belong in a Goodwill.
They’re the only place that’d take a reject like me.
You guys don’t need me anymore.
You never did.
I’m merely a dusty doll.
Too ugly for even a footnote.
In the background, on her shelf.
I don't need pity.
Go.

Oh, what a beautiful world
We live in,

Colors are white-washed, filtered and cauterized,
Perfume is liberally used
The corpse of a doll could smell
like roses and fresh laundry.

Are we color-blind? Can we only see grey?
Perhaps the truth would be so blinding
It would take away even that.

Hid my tears with makeup
      Curled my hair despite the burns
   Pierced through my desperation for
                            earrings
       Some may call me an attention
                              *****
        Or a girl who finally embraced
                     her feminine side
                      But I don't care
      Your opinion is the only one that
                            matters
But you had the audacity not to notice

I've watched him beat you
day after day
I've heard you cry yourself to sleep
night after night
I've heard his false words
he doesn't love.

You defend yourself to no avail
alcohol's too much
He's really confused ***,
he is lost.

I've seen it all babe,
it's not over
there's nothing I can do
I am only
plastic wrapped in silk
only for you.

I've seen the blood you let
stain your wrists
I've felt the chill in the air
when he's around
but I've been there too,
it'll be okay.

I'd stop it myself
but I'm merely a doll
propped up on a shelf.
For a contest contest about a fly on the walls perspective. I know I changed it up a bit but this angle called to me more than the fly...

I want you
to rip every vein from my skin
pull them out like worms from the ground
touch my blood
and **** in the pure guilt
I have drowned myself in
pull my teeth out
and drag them along my naked body
carve shapes into this dead, papery flesh
don't forget the ruby red lipstick
cake it onto my betraying, seductive lips
let your arms travel everywhere it pleases
yank my hair
grab the strands and brush them over my face
my finger nails, paint them white like purity
wrapped in the ****** Mary
Last, don't forget my
heart
Rip it from the connecting arteries
and let me feel the sting
and watch your hands too, tinted in my beautiful red

I am your canvas
I am your doll
I am your **** that
Nobody will ever know
Because under all this...
I'm dead.

Porcelain skin,
white with rosy cheeks.
Lips sewn shut,
concealing her shrieks.
Knotted hair,
with pink pretty bows.
Smiling mouth,
lips red as a rose.
Eyes open,
staring at blank space.
Pretty dresses,
covered all in lace.
Broken teacups,
will soon fall apart.
Never revealing,
her lack of a heart.
Perfect girl,
with an alluring complexion.
Fails to see,
her and her reflection.
Flawless,
you can’t see her cracks.
Scarred,
only seeing whites and blacks.
Collecting dust,
sitting on a shelf.
Contemplating,
life itself.
A poem I wrote for school, let me know if you like it? I also don't know what to put as a title so feedback on that would be helpful (:

My hair looks like a veil
Straight as a sheet of ice
As I walk through the parking lot
To get my only vice.
The light of a cigar
A moment of pure silence
To wonder how many times
I've had to die since
The time when the kisses hurt,
The slaps felt clean
The taste of dirt
As I lied in between
The leaves of fall
Fingers went numb
Always and again to
became a doll.

she only ever wants to play
she pushes them all away
she sets the stage
and pulls the puppet strings
but no one can touch hers
and when she gets bored
she packs up her playthings and goes home

selfish she
is plastic
without a heart
selfish she
is toxic
leaving her mark

a levy of limbs
a boudoir of bones
selfish she
plays her game
never lonely
but always alone

she only ever wants to play
she pushes them all away
selfish she
laughs as she breaks her dolls

"Look!" she said,
Proudly holding
A tiny painted doll;

"I can make it dance!",
She squealed,
Excitement in her voice;

I watched, bewitched,
As the doll danced
And twitched;

Grinning like an idiot,
I joined the dance,
Arms flailing madly;

"Now watch!" she gasped,
Taking a darning needle,
Stabbing repeatedly;

"Urghh!", I laughed,
Bending over,
Feigning pain;

The doll moved faster,
Limbs blurring,
As she made it dance;

"I can't keep up!"
I laughed so hard,
Feeling sharp pain in my side;

I tried to stop dancing,
But my aching limbs
Kept on flailing madly;

She held my gaze,
Her eyes laughing
With manic intensity;

With a final ******,
She pushed the needle
Straight through the heart,

The doll slipped from her grasp,
Tumbling to lay beside
My still twitching body;

The last thing I ever saw,
Her reaching into a silken bag
And picking up another doll.
