How I adore those fleeting moments
Wrapped in lace and tender touches.
Those intimate instances where the heart is flooded by butterfly kisses,
and the body ignited by fire.
I long for love's innocence
By the voice you whisper late at night.
I long for love's passion,
By your lips pressed gently against my own.
I long for love's warm embrace,
By your arms when the world crumbles beneath my feet.
But most of all,
More than anything,
I long for you.
My love.
My kerosene.
I only wished,
You longed for that love too.

sleep deprived
and not so self loved
I'm feeling like ****
about every time
I've been in love

twitching eyes
no confidence inside
my body lies hollow
inside of your eyes
because I'm just feeling dead inside

bad lies
creepy disguise
and all I was in love with
was those beautiful eyes
and now I'm trapped
with the thoughts from your mind

all I want is some sleep
and to be alive
and someone who will be by my side

Deprived of sleep
Derived from one of the black sheep
Lost in the woods
Unable to skip

Green we've all been
at the start, without experience or sin.

Yellow becomes my skin
in the face of fear, or cancerous conditions.

Purple I throb in the din,
of context to the conversation we're in.

How many times we starved ourselves
dreaming something that we can’t have…

How many times we deprived ourselves
from wanting the life we wanted the most
just because we lack something or
having the practical mind that it is not for us…

Sometimes we starved ourselves to limit our flight.
Bound by rules, responsibilities, duties,
or even culture, tradition and religion…
Despite all that, we balance everything
for what’s right, what feels right
The Weighing of the Heart ---

loosely inspired by a poem of a dear friend of mine (Belle), somehow this is a reflection on my part.

inspired by her two poems namely: The Weighing of the Heart & Starvation.

probably I'll delete this later on, it hurts sometimes to reflect the moments I passed on and just starve myself on some aspects of my life. I don't regret it, its just that sometimes you can't help to wonder why i've done that, even though you know yourself the reason why...

due to all your support my friends, I decided to kept this here for awhile longer... thanks all for reading

They said that the breeze
Told them nothing but miseries
They said that the grass
Inhaled nothing but nurseries
They said, “We seek you for tragedies,
And we want our tears to pick your lyers;
we made you dreams of catastrophic allegories,
and we want our grief to mourn over your prejudice
of undesired futures.”
They claimed that they were conjured of
Passion and mysteries
Of knowledge other than blasphemies
They said, “We chant you for the last morning tea
We desire you for your ever-after evening satires,
Stay, and keep us for the crystal wires
Of your undying lyres.”
They said so as desired and as deprived,
Yet if they are so afraid to lose
Why do they seek in the first place?

Maybe we are simply embers
dancing and flying over the fire.
But I do know that we are unwitting members
of the blood pact that caters to our own desire.

I always found it hilarious how I could laugh
at my own cruelty, to myself and to others.
The laughter crippling me, to lean on a quarterstaff
and think of all the cruel jokes I used to smother.

Hunger quivers in the heart
Waiting for morsel of love
Stricken with neglect for long
Hand that fed only remorse
Deprived of the nutrient of care
Heart's muscles weakened
Wary from the darkness
Cannot feel the soul’s pulse
Abject penury of feelings
Drove the loving heart to sink
Now lying in comatose

well this keyboard is intimidating
but jeez i can't keep
using a pen forever
so what if it's more
comfortable?

This poem looked better
When it was
Written down.
