FOG
In London-
a hollowed out city-
the fog
is returning-creeping
back-

A poisonous invisible/white
sheet
salivating over
supine cars, insinuating
its baptismal
seed
into open mouths-
sinking into gutters
emerging undigested
from empty drains.

it crawls around the Shard
clutches
each ancient bridge
yellowing
in its pilgrimage

it has returned-
IT
The Thing-
ghastly
in its plans.

A resurrection
that requires no death!

I.  AVARICE

Gregory loved money
Compare him to a toad.
A solid golden palace
Was his high abode.

He had many servants
To wait upon his needs.
He paid them in pennies
Such was his great greed.

He accounted his vast wealth
All throughout the day
When it came time to bill you
You had better *pay
.

Greg had gold, but he grew old
Arthritic and halt
When he was laid, at last, in state,

They did so in a *vault.

II.  ENVY

Ella was quite beautiful
Compare her to a snake.
She sipped upon the finest wines
But her thirst was never slaked.

There was a little servant girl
Younger and more fair,
Ella hated this young lass
Put her in despair.

She showed a vile temperament
Acted like a cur.
Ella hated everyone
Who had more than her.

Her envy made her very ill,
And she finally passed.
She was buried with her mirror

And rots before her glass.

III.  WRATH

Arthur was an angry man,
Compare him to a lion.
He roared around his castle
And had a will of iron.

He was always virulent
In both word and pen,
Would beat his wife and servants
Time and time again.

He waged many futile wars
With kingdoms all around.
Many grieved, for he laid siege,
And burned them to the ground.

He captured the women,
And so he had a pride,
But he lived by iron sword,

So by the sword he died.

IV.  SLOTH

Lackadaisical Lucy
Compare her to a snail.
She scarce emerged from her soft bed,
Laziness prevailed.

She wouldn't lift a finger
To dust or do a dish,
She lived on an inheritance,
To sleep her only wish.

The housework just did not get done,
She wouldn't even cook.
She'd order out from Domino's
And had an unkempt look.

She finally died in her own bed,
Her sands of time were gone,
She exhaled her last breath

With an enormous yawn.

V.  GLUTTONY

Gerald was a glutton.
Compare him to a pig.
He'd consume most anything,
And didn't care a fig!

When he ate a stack of pancakes,
Now, I tell no lie,
It was so tall, to see them all,
You'd have to view the sky!

Gerry was enormous,
As big as a barn.
He had so many folds & rolls
He was the Michelin man!

He just couldn't get enough!
The pancakes just a teaser!
And when they finally buried him

They did so in a freezer!

VI.  LUST

Louis was so lustful
We'll compare him to a goat.
A female weasel is a ****,
The male is a stoat.

He was a musician,
And, man, that boy would *rock!

He had an *******
Almost 'round the clock!

No problems getting women
They never gave him grief!
He had so many groupies
He was known as the Kalif!

But one of his liasons
Didn't go as planned
He lost his life due to the wife

Of a jealous man!

VII.  PRIDE

Percy was quite prideful,
Like a peacock rare.
He had the finest clothing,
Bright beyond compare!

He was given everything,
He had things in hand.
His tailors were acknowledged
As the finest in the land!

His enemies planed out a coup
When a good time arose.
They had Percy fitted
For the Emperor's new clothes.

The townspeople were furious!
Gave Percy the boot!
So he was buried in a ditch

In his birthday suit!

Thanks for reading this long poem!
The early church compared people
guilty of one of these sins to animals.
These are included in the poems.

So far 41 people read this... not ONE like!
C'mon! Talk to me! What's wrong with
this? Should I take it down?

My venom,
My wonderful dangerous addiction.
You control all of me,
My movements are pulled by your strings,
As your bring me down under your wing.

Losing my sanity,
As my mental state is coiling around my heart,
And making it fall head over heels for you.

You enchant my every emotion,
I can't seem to snap out of it.
I keep on ranting about my love,
Losing all of my sanity as each word falls out of my mouth.

My mind goes fogging,
I blinded with pure lust for your touch.
My ears are ringing and awaiting for your sweet voice,
To sing me a enchanting lullaby.

My deadly lover,
Tell me how much you hate me,
Tell me how much you love me.

Remind me of my addiction that takes a hold of me,
And watch me fall back down and praise everything you do,
Even the when you break my heart into two.
Ice
Slip and fall
Upon the hidden ice
Hitting the cold earth
It feels like running into a wall

Shivering from the chill
The air freezing
Entombed by winter's hands
If you're not careful, will gladly ****

The snow isn't melting
As the temperature drops
Life is dying
As the cold shows us what the hearts reflecting

Not an animal in sight
The air is quiet
The peace is deadly
As though just to breathe is a fight

Tread carefully in a dead world
The ice is black
And the life is gone
Into winters arms

A beautiful lie, where the dead's souls are hurled

Again, they have bloomed
bringing sudden doom
the flowers began to sprout
i-t'was the black ink
which spoiled the drink
that brought the flora about
wispy and wavy
the roots grew so veiny
and pretended to be so tame
Similar to another
more sinister flower
we gave this one a new name
We called it Off-White
because it just wasn't quite
as offensive behind our eyes
and later that night
as they suffered, in fright
our neighbors began to die
What had begun
right before the sun
was the flowers took shape and form
They began to change
into an old vein
of flower we had abhorred
But it was too late
the flowers, with haste
selected their victims at last
and in the morning
right after our yawning,
we still hadn't learned from our past

Have you heard the sea cry...
you have the destruction it can bring.
Silent yet deadly.
But have ever heard it cry.
Pry, pry, pry
I have done
but have you ever heard it cry?
It's soft but strong...
the cry of the sea has long been forgotten
Our voice has been lost, we forget how much power we have. We forget that one honest voice is louder than a crowd. That what we say has power. That we can't just watch something happen if we disagree. We have power, we have a say in what ever happens.

I'm a sucker for a deadly demise and heartbroken eyes.
Idk if contractions count as one word or 2 but who cares. lolol.
Fear of unknown has viciously grown to tear me apart
Like deadly poison it has engulfed my heart and soul
It has corrupted my wit and intelligence being smart
Rather slowly and gradually it has taken me as a whole

In life this state is often in vogue as a satanic ***** trick
Vice apparently succeeds virtue to be tactful and smart
It takes its abode in heart first to pick and then to *****
At this trial only faith plays a real dominant role as art

Blessed are the ones who refine hearts as abode of God
They even if become victim can easily sneak through
Save me from all embarrassments and give shelter my Lord
Help me graciously to come up and resolve deadly issue

Which one will take me first?
Your radioactive deadly love
My volcanic blooming hope
The world will spilt me apart
Contented I shall depart it
I have loved none but you!

Why is it so hard to destroy beautiful things?
They aren't innocent.
Not always.
They can be cruel.
Like a poisonous flower,
Or a rushing river.
They are beautiful and we admire them from afar,
But getting too close is dangerous.
It could end you.
But why not end it first?
Pull the flower like its a ****.
Stop the river's flow like it's a gutter.
But we can't.
And why not?
Because it's beautiful,
And there are so few beautiful things left in the world.
So we fight for them,
And we protect them,
Even if they are deadly,
Because they are all we have left.
And if there was no beauty,
No horrible, deadly, beauty,
What would we live for?
