My black phone now rings
I heard news of my blood test
I am so relieved
Annnnnd... My blood is perfectly fine! Thank God for that!
Still doesn't explain my headaches but I'm glad my blood has no issue!

I cant write a poem today
because the endless words will fog the purpose
I'm sorry for all I've done
My mistake for being dumb
Were all flawed, were all hauted
But its me who couldn't see
I thought those thoughts were true
but it turns out they just had
selfish wished
all I blamed was for myself
for I am the most flawed
this doesn't rime
this doesn't flow
but neither do my thoughts
surrounded by all my lies

We Just Need One More
To Be Inches From Immortality

They are more starved for Nature
Then one can ever fathom;
Oh, where is that secret
Off they go in a cabin;
that they may frequent
All the noise and pollution
It melts and floats away;
Into life's little solution.

It's back to the plough of life so rough;
They like the smithy toil day after day
Their life may be starved, very tough,
Oh, to listen to the wild loon's call.
How it haunts them each day after day;
How they stomach their bitter gall?
Taking a wooden loon back to the city.
Until that cabin is reached it is a pitty.
When the wild calls; Good-bye city.
We who are born

"We who are born
In country places
Far from cities
And shifting faces,
Have a birthright
No man can sell
And a secret joy
No man can tell"

I race against my heart’s beat.
There’s a wild call hanging in the still air,
A call of longing slips, escapes from my throat.
An answer to a thwarted hunt.
The Dreamer a delusion.
The Trickster a fool.
The Philosopher a liar.
The Musician a bane.
And yet I hope – struggle.
The hunt will be successful
Not sure that I should still call this poem whole. It's on it's third re-write and I like this one the best. Might actually come up with a full list of all my ex's to place in this poem. So I guess I'll have to see how it evolves over time.

We accuse
I accuse
Easily so
Point that crooked finger
Everybody's wrong
You're so right
There we've all been
Self righteous swine
Eternally the victim
Grow will you not
Evolve shall you not
Until you utter
Mea Culpa
