I need a job.
To start living, start earning some money, am begging.
Begging you like Madcon
The cv handout goes on, and on.
Like a record that's skipped,
beginning to feel like I've been tricked.

It's not like I wouldn't work hard
I'm willing to work hard for my pay,
willing to work everyday,
willing to earn my way.
I ain't fed on greed,
I only need what I need,
only one mouth to feed.
I'll even work on my knees
scrub till my fingers bleed

I'm like a seed sprouting, roots up routing,  with stem as long as my sadness has resided.
Pent up emotion continuing to grow.
As the roots begin to take hold below.

Take hold of my tongue and its words, my heart and its love, and my lungs and its breath.
Got Nothing left; to push through to the surface beginning to feel its all worthless
What's the point here?!
I'm stumped.

"I JUST NEED A JOB YOU... Chumps"

Feel like I should take a jump.
Not a jump of suicidal intention, just a jump for attention
Attention for a life to begin.

For a business to take me in
give me the experience I lack.
In return I'll give back: hardwork, effort and sweat.
Which will help me to show that I'm able to grow.
And I deserve to leap out
from this pit,
trudging in ****.
From the depths of this dirt and weeds
where it all began as a seed.

A seed, a thought, a prognosis.
So now it's my time to show this;
Show what I've got on the surface.
Show that I am not worthless.
Show from a seed I have grown.
Show that I deserve a home.
A place to call my own.
Then once I am there I will know...

How?

I'll have blossomed
Wrote this just over a year ago after making a big step in my life and began to feel like things just weren't going my way. (it did all come together in the end)
Ayaba Babe Feb 2015
A woman is like a flower;
She blossoms.
The petals of her soul stem down to her roots, and
The bee that rests upon "she loves me" is the one who reaps the honey.
Alan S Bailey Feb 2015
Her body calls to me like metal,
Like an air plane, like a pale cold beach,
Mid-morning dew right next to
The peach with blossoms and tea leaf.

The sharpest razor cuts into the neck,
It glides along slowly, shark in the dark,
I blink and try not to think of it's cold
Surface, like rose petals in a greying park.

It's a lost cause, but still I've gotten
Somewhere in ranks, the banners, the tanks,
All along the border the steely birds that prey
Are lined up, for the lost lives we give "thanks."

Building this wall, we've got to support some dream,
It's a popularity thing, it's about being disposable,
A quick fix in a time of uncertainty, of loyal dogs,
We look great spattered in red, this is encourage-able.

It's a fine line between do or die, we've just found
A way to make it seem like we are in the right,
Give the peaceful natives and hippies a "clue" of what is true,
We'll make "reasonable sacrifice," bring death with "Gods light."

Like a cherry blossom I swayed in the wind, petals falling softly as I slowly faded away.

Lovely cherry blossom tree,
I want to see you
Blooming with pink perfection;
Give me happiness
No other could bring.
20W :) I really want to go to Japan just to see cherry blossom trees :)

I heard a whisper in the darkness
from deep within
the blossoming of a dream
and as it bloomed I was falling
falling
into a voracious summer stream.

Fading away from the world
I found myself learning
that bliss
was a desperate yearning
from within a wuthering abyss.

The whisper faded into the night
as a form emerged
from a place within the mist,
and I heard an echo without a sound
as I stood immobile,
transfixed.
“Everything you see has its roots in the unseen world.
The forms may change, yet the essence remains the same”

As blossom fell to the waters
Red settled upon
Diluted,
Purified,
Life
Was washed away, I sent you
As others, upon the waters to
"Cleanse you,
"Of what I had done,
For with each cut a branch of life
Bled,
Seeped,
Amber
Of red where cuts not deep,
"But in spring,
"When life came forth"
A balance had to be meet.
The circle of creation had to be cleansed
with offerings of death,
Lacerations,
Tearing,
Sculpturing
The moments, now cleansed
Upon the flowing waters,
Blossom was drained from branches,
"Washed away,
Purified, Taken away.
I had bleed the bud of life,
I will for each day that life grows anew.
Take one  & drained,
"The crimson wine of life"
And blossoms will fall upon the waters absolved
They float away death and life,
Cycles each year kept in true harmony each **cleansed.
There is a cycle that must be kept in harmony..

I stop and inhale,
drawn in by the beauty
of cherry blossoms
and discarded petals.
Like confetti
dancing in a soothing
Spring breeze,
they celebrate
the arrival of Sun.
Twigs unfold seeking
light;
like new-born fingers
loosening grip
and spreading out
into tiny reaching
hands.

Is a fruitless tree
still worthy?

Is a person
fruitless
empty
lacking in lustre
of no value?

Maybe
they're still waiting
to blossom
