She was a raging inferno,
Touch her and perish,
A roaring inferno,
Burns your soul to ashes.
As she raged against the dying light,
Crazy, I craved only for her,
Praying she would go gentle in the night,
My eyes blazed for her like a meteor.
Within me, her anger raised sensual  emotions,
With my gentle love, I desired to tame her,
That was my firm resolution,
And one day,on her lava soil would bloom our little flower.

His love
Didn't feel crazy
Like butterflies and birds fluttering in my stomach
But rather tranquil
Like a blooming rose

I let go of my first love before it had a chance to bloom.
I watched it fall with autumn into the descending moon.

But here we are again; talking about yesterday's tune.
It's like nothing ever happened, and thus my pain resumes.

He knew she will wait
for she knows he is her final fate
She knows now it's not just a matter of fact
but it is about that unsaid pact
He has been there for 22 years
hearing her laughter and broken heart's tears
Simply been there by her side
even when with other guys she goes and hide
In the morning he just goes away
for he knows she is on a right way
But just as the evening starts to bloom
He comes back for her, cause he is her moon!
Wellspring Sep 2018
The softest blanket covering the world under its branches,
Baby pinks, creams and sensitive whites.
The tiny petals resting gently on the heavy and moist soil.
The earthy scent of dirt and fertility,
Wafting up from the ground beneath.
The gentle breeze, giggling with mischief,
Sweeping through the blackened old arms of the ancients,
Swaying slowly in time with the bell like laughter of the wind.
I love cherry blossom trees!

The joy of the bloom,
Hope it won't be over soon,
Fear of the past gloom.
This is a different style of writing for me, but here's a little prompt, write a haiku about your favourite season. See what you get.

You left
And I began to bloom.
All I needed was a little light,
But you kept it away with your dark desires.

Spring
Later, she came to me.
She had flowers in her hair
and wore a yellow skirt.
She approached slowly,
asking, "Are you hurt?"

Spring lifted me off the frosted floor.
Her touch immediately melted
the ice that I was trapped in.

Slowly I began to bloom.
Vines entwined my arms.
I was crowned with petals
and I smelled of roses.
Suddenly she was gone.

A voice whispered in my ear,
"You're Spring now, dear. Smile often until Summer comes."
Happy Spring everyone!
