I’ve got a tender itch
Itching for more sweet bliss
Just one temporary fix
Of a sublime runaround
I just really need
That one true special thing
We can be all this world needs
Or we could die so young
It doesn't matter if we live to see our dreams come to pass, or if we die chasing our dreams. All that matters is that we dream at all.

Warm and smooth
Orange mayple syrup
Sun rays ladled upon my back
Absorbing the goodwill of the sun
I lay on the concrete like a hot rock
All tension set aside
Fingers dip in the water
Where the lights bounce and play
Cool to the touch
This simulacrum of the sea
Smell the salt and get swept away
To another time, long ago past
I turn my gaze up to the sky
The big bright blue expansion
It draws me in.
I want to dive into it's unfolding depths.
I want this momentary bliss
To stay with me forever.

You were my sunshine,
my only sunshine;
since, you set behind the hills of time,
I
have finally seen the beauty in moonlight.
never be with people who don't encourage you to be your best self

Ah, her
I'll spare her name for the sake of mystery
But this feeling that is stirred up is quite real
I'm pretty shook, I can't deal

Where do I start?
Her eyes, of course
Eyes as calming as the ocean tides
They pull at mine, drawing me in
Making me want to be by her side
Dark brown, making me melt like brownies

Hair like fire
Beautifully gleaming in the sunset
Wavy curls, waving at my heart
Capturing me in a trance
Oh, she makes me want to dance

That smile
More beautiful than the Nile
Her laugh is a soothing melody
Kissing her lips seems to be my remedy

Oh how I wish I could with her
To show her how much she is worth
Worth more than what she's been told
By both young and old
Worth more than how men look at her

She is a precious keepsake
A woman to cherish
One to take to the lake
And listen to her favorite songs

Her whole being is a song
A sweet melody that lifts my spirits
All day long
her.
...mushy stuff

Just one kiss,
But much more,
A moment of bliss,
The girl I adore.

Just every fear,
But nothing real,
No one will hear,
I don't know how to feel.
My first poem, feels weird to be writing like this but I want to get good at it.

I don’t think I’ll ever grow used to your eyes.

The way they see into my soul.

Like amber pools, what mysteries have bathed there. Rinsing the deceit and lies that rise in my mind.

Emerging clean, new and ocean blue.

I never want to hide- but whisper the truth only for your ears to hear

I

    love

            you
I didn’t know that love was tangible, real and true- till I laid my eyes on you.

I wish to see the way your eyes beam before the morning sun.
Rest my hand in the small of your back,
pull you closer for the day’s first kiss.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful?
Your head lay just beneath my chin, snuggled up close.
So close strands of your hair get trapped in my beard,
tips of wild ones tickle my nose.

Beautiful it would be,
to feel the warmth of your hand lying gently on my chest;
the tip of your ******* tracing tail feathers of a phoenix.
Increasing vibrations of my heart.

Simply gorgeous, your smile.
I wonder how it looks during sunrise after a full moon.

Can you see it too?
Me running my fingers through your hair,
gently working through tangles while you tell me about your day.

It could be so sweet,
blasting jams by big bands while dancing in the stars.
You ask to hear ghost stories about my tattoos and scars.

You say you feel it too?
A desire to be close and place your hands in mine.
Waiting for the moment you touch your lips to my collar bone.

Imagine you and me.
Wrapped in one another,
stretching moments between time and space.

Just think of how easy it would be.
I’ll fall for you while you fall for me.

1
Wet welling from earth
Deep valleys, hills, sweating *******
I plung into her

2
We are lost at sea
In moonless night our soft cries
Curled waves drowning us

3
Above her in bed
Little breaths lifting our bodies
Eyes, fingers, dreaming

4
Her green eyes are set
Jewels from sargasso seas
My ghost ship is wrecked

5
Her long hair tangles
No struggle in rising— then
We are rapt in bed

6
Her eyes blinding me
Milky way of her body
There is a heaven

7
In forest we taste
Each other in evergreens
Hot dews on the moss

8
Blissful time kissing
My bare thighs sink into hers
Running sands so quick

9
As olive or grape
So shed, paired souls are threshed
Out of their bodies

10
Hummingbirds share truths
Nature sounds with all sweetness
Bee in the flower

11
Always in a field
Wild flowers— a bunch to pick
Herself a bouquet

12
In the park we walk
Flocks of white birds taking flight
Two hearts light as air

13
We kissed under moon
Pox of stars grew flowering
Nightshade of her lips

14
She took me to bed
Skinned in bliss— was reborn, lost
In her satin folds
