Bee
Stripey, furry, pollen coated
Buzzing summer stillness into life,
Journey of fertility from stamen to
Stamen, pollination, by-product of travail.
Sweet honey stored in citadel honeycomb
Shaped perfectly, Fibonacci sequence,
Queen factory birthing, supplying an army
Compulsory conscription, signed up for life
Common mind, common goal, calculating
Journeys to fertile meadows, returning
Debriefing to communicate flight path,
Destination situation report, until
One day dispatch signals failure
The hive is silenced, the computer
Turned off.

you unfurl my petals for me
though my thorns *****
you rest on my leaves
and bathe in my scent
i didn't know i was a flower
until the bee came to me

Meet the ‘rents (A bee movie)

As Humble left the honeycomb, now a bee,
He was accompanied by a guard with a kind heart.
The guards name was Bee-Real, a real gentleman, you’ll see
And he said “Follow me.  I’ll take you to where your new parents are.”

There was a little room and as Humble went inside,
There were a pair of bees waiting for Humbles arrival…
We have been waiting for you, the lady bee said with a smile.
How do you do?  Said the male.
Humble was left confused and in a state of bedazzle.
It’s a pleasure to meet you Humble…
This is your new mother ‘Bakes-a-good-crumble’;
And I am your father ‘Dude’.
We’ve have been waiting to meet you.
We are your new relative bees.
Welcome to the Bumble family.

We are going to look after you, is there anything you want to know?
Who are you?
We are the people who will raise you as our own.
We will welcome you, with loving arms, into our home.
The Queen Bee cannot look after,
The 2000 bees she has created today.
So we are your adoptive parents.  Is that ok?
I’m one of two thousand offspring?
Yes Humble, one of two thousand bees born today,
But one in a million to us Humble…come give us a hug…we don’t sting.

I smell,
A queen bee drenched in alcohol!
Dried up,
And soaked into a cotton ball.
One whiff and all of a sudden she is my queen bee!
Now I devote my entire life to a spoonful of honey!

Baked inside her two thousand golden wombs,
Emerging drunk on her chemical love.
We eat her eyes for sight to see,
She sees what she wants to see.

Gold dust is stuck to my thighs,
And flowers are growing out of my eyes!
This is all I can see,
The life of a honey bee!

I hunt with the bees from the honeycombs,
All entranced by her chemical love song.
Seduced by the crown of a flower,
Hung ovaries filled with nectar.

Excuse me, Ma'am. May I, a humble honey bee, drink of your nectar?
I am a starved servant of my queen bee, and I must return to the hive with nectar for the colony, or else my queen will beat me maliciously!

-

I am the mother,
The barer of life.
If you follow me,
You will survive.
You need someone like me,
You need a queen bee.

I am the one who rose,
and you rose with me.
I am the creator,
Of the entire colony.
You need someone like me,
You need a queen bee.

Strong enough to hold down the seas,
Yet too weak to hold down the bees.
You can't tell us what to do,
Because the bees will find a way to defy you.

With a body so fat,
And wings so small,
We should not be able to fly at all;
Yet we fly anyway,
Because we don't give a **** about what you say;
The bees just levitate away!

Who are you to tell us what to do,
We are the many and you are the few!

Shiny summer day
Under vast blue sky
Murmuring honey bee
Moving over velvety petals
Enchanting Melody of its existence
Reposing the joy all over in empty heaven

I smell a queen bee drenched in alchohol,
Dried up and soaked into a cotton ball.
One whiff and all of a sudden she is my queen bee,
Now I spend my entire life making a spoonful of honey.

Mentally and physically transformed into the form of a honey bee.

Life is a too much of a burden for you,
You need someone to live it for you!
Let my pheromone flow through you,
And listen to what I tell you to do.

You need someone like me.
You need a queen bee.

Your body is so fat,
Your wings are so small,
You should not be allowed to fly at all.
How dare you defy me!
How dare you defy your queen bee!

Bees don’t care what you say,
They will just levitate away.

Who are you to tell me what to do,
We are the many and you are the few.
You’re strong enough to hold down the seas,
But too weak to hold down the bees.
You can’t tell us what to do,
We will find a way to defy you.
I will be like a bee!
You can’t hold the bees down!

him
a heart so full, so vibrant
it takes the breath away before it ever reaches my lips

arms so wide, so warm
i feel like a caterpillar wrapped in its cocoon

a mind so beautiful, so bright
i wonder if he is made of the stars

every single day
i can’t help but think
i am so lucky
to be able to love you.

it has taken me months
but i have finally realised;
he is the garden
and i am just a bee
can you believe i'm in love again?

My head is filled with black-striped bees
Bizzing and buzzing as they please
The world's a thund'ring 'fall
Roaring its loud call
Life's a tornado
Then I see
Silence
You

A bumblebee buzzes
by my ear
and lands on my shoulder
before flying off
into a field.
I think she thought
i was a flower.
