my heart does not understand loss
or the idea of what's not yours;
it had only yearned for love,
not heartbreaks that dove;

torments itself with violence,
when memories unwind;
but suffers in silence,
and left sanity behind

oh, this heart of mine
someday you will learn
to somehow be fine;
but as for now,
love and treat yourself kind
breakup ***** cause I can control my mind but not my heart

Traveler
Whether a comma, or colon:
Punctuation slows my rolling
I need no period. When I end
no Capitalization when I begin
Rulelessly I flow my art
  Not a single!
Exclamation mark
Are you not the one
Who'll know?
Where a question mark
No longer goes

Warp the structure
Bend the lines
Put in repeat
Let emotion unwind
Make yourself
Your poetry's the best
Be your own ruler
Pass your own test

Take your own road
Where ever it leads
Lover or hater
It's all poetry!

Hay
No matter who you are
You have my deepest respect!

Vanity
All is vanity
The meanings of passion
The aesthetic expression
The lines we draw and stay within
Even love is beyond intent
Vanity transcends
Flowing from our pens
And so we breathe again
I have kissed boys

Girls

People in between

But lately I have been kissing bottles

Their lips are colder than yours

But slowly I have realized that the pounding headache when I wake is less hurtful than the shattering in my chest

Yet as these toxins rush through my veins

I can't help but miss the tracing of your fingers along my skin

Miss the numbness of the world when you lie with me

But when I wake I remember that a headache is treated with an aspirin

While heartache

Well if you have a cure for Heartache let me know

Still water
resting
at the
bottom
of a
Pacific ocean
tide
pool,

reflections
of you
in my
mind
in the
Sunday
morning
light.

sometimes
I can imagine
I hear you
laughter
carried in
harmony
to me
on a
a salt-kissed
circling
wind.

and I
sit for
a moment
and smile.

I always
smile.

it is
a giving
thing that
you do.

your gentle
manner
of truth
and innocence.

I can always
feel it
there in
you eyes...

you are

where
good  poets
go to
die.

I stood there and watched you.

Your smile lit up the whole room,
I didn’t expect to fall so soon.

ok okay
It is lonely here
This land is so far away
Beyond the empty blue
Past the acid rain
The sky is pitch black
The air is chill
Not a soul in sight
On my lonely hill
The stars have settled
The moon is beaming
The tears have dried
I have lost all feeling
It is lonely here
Sometimes it is hard to see
This lovely desolate land
Lacks company

"It’s good to be alone,"
I say to myself
most nights.
But there comes
a point where
the cold gives in to
the warmth,
and god,
does the
loneliness hit.
