Still I have not told you,
Still the uttered words make me tremble and fall,
Into a deep coma of thoughts.
I'm not accepted,
And our friendship would die,
I love and cherish you,
But will you do the same for me?

Being gay is not a choice,
I want a family,
Can't you see!?
And a family I will have,
One, which is right for me.

You can no longer dictate my mind,
Make me feel inferior to society.
Because, I am part of it,
I make up society.
I am happy and free,
So accept it,
I am gay, as you can see.

Gay
If I wasn't gay would people care?
Would they actually let me breath the same air?
Could I actually go to school,
without people being so cruel?
Could I live in a world with no hate?
Maybe people would love me if I was straight.
It's not as easy as people think.
I can't just go to a shrink.
I didn't choose to be this way.
You really think I'd want to be gay?
I don't want attention,
I don't want fame.
This isn't some sort of game.
I am who I am and thats okay.
Most people don't see it that way.
I only wish I could be the same.
To have a wedding and it not be shamed.
I want to have kids and not be judged.
I don't want my reputation smudged.
But apparently I'm different now.
Sick in the head somehow.
Therapy and shock treatment for something that can't be fixed.
How did I get put into this mix?
Toxic and tragic,
that's my life.
It's like I was stabbed in the back with a knife.
I'm gay,
what's wrong with that?
I get treated like some rat.
Using your holy books and your religion.
To fight against something that makes no difference.
I want to be a human not a punching bag.
Always getting called a ***.
Let that word have power and it gets to you.
But that words as good as whatever is stuck to the bottom of my shoe.
I love being this way.
I don't care what you say.

This little nightmare comes and goes
Its dark and tainted when it comes it grows
it taints all my dreams it crucifies my night
its hauntingly fast, I'm losing this fight

this creature of dark this son of night
fleeing again at the first sight of dawns light
It holds my terrors and haunts my dreams
But the demons it carries are demons from me

I admit I'm not good at math no matter what I try
Me + You should equal 2 but now it seems we're 5
Without you I am less than one, I can't take you from I
At least there's one I do real good and that is multiply
Just something I wrote for my wife, a cute twist reflecting on our children

I'd love to be an eagle, soaring through the sky!  Breathing in the heavens, an ever watchful eye.  Surfing all the currents, wings beating strong and proud  Witnessing a sunrise, high above the clouds.

I'd love to be a dolphin, gliding in the sea.  Jumping over waves, playing gleefully.  Racing with my pod full of life and song, chasing after sunsets to see what lies beyond.

I'd love to be a rabbit, I'd love to be a bear.  I'd love to be an owl with an ever watchful stare.  I'd love to be a monkey, swinging all around. I'd love to be a horse, racing on the ground!

I'd love to be these things and the greatest part of all, is knowing that I will, when asleep I fall

It seems it is illegal to have a love like mine

The police went to question me and of our love I told
and broke the poor mans heart with a tale of love so bold
My lawyer came to give me council and asked me to be frank
I told him all about you dear and the poor guys heart just sank
And finally to the judge we went and I gave him my guilty plea
for it's true how much I love you and how much you love me
I spoke for what seemed days to cover all our past
From the first day we met, until I held you last
Finally the judge called to me and said that I must stop
for the sake of every broken heart from his back to the cop
Just fun and in love

Soft as a mothers glow, this star so warm and bright
from a place too far away to hold, yet warms a summers night
as evening falls to sleep it goes this stoic friend of mine
upon a new day she unfolds, hello my sweet sunshine

Dancing in the moonlight
a shade of heavens glow
Your lonely heart is seeking
for what you do not know

I wonder if you see me
And how would I portray
This love I have inside me
That grows for you each day

Your smile
Your eyes
Your heart

I've always loved you.

In the glory of dawn and serenity of dusk, in the crisp winters air and a cool summers gust.  As the leaves flutter in autumn and the rains cleanse in spring, I'll always hold close to me these very few things.

The radiance of your smile and the warmth of your embrace.  The sweet smell of your hair as it caresses my face.  The soft touch of your skin as it passes over mine, those very gentle moans as our bodies intertwine.

I would give to you a gift, something from the heart
That you may remember me, should we be apart
I searched for something special, that lends itself to say
How much my heart burns for you, every moment of the day
I looked around to see, flowers of every kind
The colors were so beautiful, the scents so divine
I saw a lot of animals, kittens and puppies too
But none so soft and warm or nearly as lovely as you
I turned to the Oceans where dolphins and corals thrive
Reefs of endless beauty a mirror of the sky
But still the deepest oceans were shallow in compare
To the wisp of your voice and the flowing of your hair
So I took to the heavens and witnessed the birth of stars,
galaxies and nebulae, wonders from afar
And in this place of wonder, I finally came to see
to show my love and passion, what I give to you, is me.

lo the ugly duckling, a face no one could take,
left all alone to live an unknown fate

who by chance met a blind rabbit, who's hearing was very keen,
and they became fast friends, because he remained unseen

and one day he reflected, I'm glad you cannot see,
I didn't scare you off so you found the inside me

Oh you silly duck, I can see just fine,
I found what really matters, in your heart and mine

I love your button nose
And  your curly wavy hair
Your curious little fingers
And your wondrous blue eyed stare
Your giant little smile
And your laugh that melts my heart
Your wiggly little toes
And each and every part
To my daughter

I would be the snow where you make angels
and the powder where you fall
The leaves that catch your eye
changing colors in the fall
The sounds that lift your spirit
singing softly in the spring
The warm summers sun
and the happiness within
