Tower of Silence - Track 7

Verse 1
Once again, I’ve found myself up against a wall
Play pretend, I hear voices linger down the hall
I know, because I’ve done it all before
I don’t feel like doing this anymore
I don’t want to trouble you when the sun sets
I won’t show you all my pieces
I refuse to give you all my troubles
I neglect to let loose to all my demons

Pre-Chorus
Can you hear the voice inside me?
Do you know what my art means?
It’s calling out a cry, showing you my seams
Can you sense what my tongue claims?
Do you feel what I’m trying to say?
It calls you by name, asking you to stay

Chorus
I am a ghost
Transparent to those who get too close
Haunted by the ones I love the most
I’ll transmute on the low
That way they won’t know
And if it’s making me seem low
I am a ghost

Verse 2
All these people, they are real
All these questions, they’re sincere
All these voices, they’re for-real
And I will try, to let your words pass me by
Please ignore me when I say I’m fine
So I’ll ignore you still
On what I’d rather ****
Regardless, I don’t know how I could have fought this
Honest, I’d been even deeper down in the darkness
If it wasn’t for this art, God gave me as a start
But I am haunted still
All these voices, they’re for-real
When I write I begin to fear
At the sight of what is really here
I write some things and it seems so worthless
I say something and it feels so wordless
Maybe that’s the purpose
Memories formless, deep thought verses
Thinking comes to surface
Writing to plead something, rhyming but I say nothing
I have not forgot—You are all I got
Just trying to make it all stop
So before you go, don’t walk away
Listen for what I have to say
Deeper than this art or talent
A different dialect I can’t unpack
Eventually I will have lines to offer you
But you must stay—be here for what I’m going through
Stay by my side and give me time
My head is dead and decayed but I’ll be okay

Pre-Chorus
Can you hear the voice inside me?
Do you know what my art means?
It’s calling out a cry, showing you my seams
Can you sense what my tongue claims?
Do you feel what I’m trying to say?
It calls you by name, asking you to stay

Chorus
I am a ghost
Transparent to those who get too close
Haunted by the ones I love the most
I’ll transmute on the low
That way they won’t know
And if it’s making me seem low
I am a ghost

Verse 3
I’m driving inside my mind, and I’m driving kinda sideways
A runaway, but I don’t feel free
Relying on the highway—why can’t it be my way?
Swerving over the yellow lines
Give me some times to speak my mind
It’s stout to let it all out
So maybe my words are just drought
I know you’re worried for me and what I find
My head’s not right but I’ll be fine
I promise you I’ll come home some time
But in the meantime, listen for my cry
No, you don’t have to keep me down from ledges
Or steal from me razor blades and shoe laces
But prop you door open with wooden wedges
For when I enter into these dark places
For long enough I’ve tended to a heatless fire
Scared of labels they press to uninspire
Tried to convince me this gloom was nothing
Then you’d think I’m demented or something
But at the same time my aloneness was hyped
Making me think I was of the insane type
But it’s nice to hear my words filter in you
Otherwise I don’t know how I’d make it through

Outro
I know it can be hard
Don’t go in alone
Don’t think you have to be tough
Let your cover be shone
Your oxygen’s running low
Let our cover be blown
And steak out the window

Together we’re singing

spysgrandson Sep 2012
I was...

encased in a silver humming tube
shooting through blue sky and soft clouds

the attendant (my daughter’s age) stood
thin knuckles gripping the seat in front of me
whiter than clouds zipping past the window
her doe eyes transfixed on the men
praying with each shallow breath
they would ask nothing of her

some spoke English, some gibberish
waving their razors in ominous dance
slicing the air that carried their words

a pilot at their feet,
a thin red trail, a single line
the only biography he had
written on the cabin carpet
between the cockpit and
where they stood
barking at us, punctuating their orders with prayer and praise
to some God I did not know

“Al lah, A lah…”
more threatening chants
“Allah, Al lah”
more—a shrill scream interrupted this dream
as one yanked an attendant to his side—more venomous words
flying at us like poisoned arrows
(but all of us too frozen to move as these flew through pressurized air)
“please” the only word she uttered before she froze
eternally in the arms of her ****** assassin

the lump in my throat fell, I leaned forward and others did too
(I never saw, but surely they did)
trying to think through the hateful haze
to younger days
how to disarm an assailant—they had to teach me that
I had to remember that—we did that for our beret
but I couldn’t reach back
not further than that morning
when I said good bye to my son

still (“Al lah, Ah lah”—ripping anger from their guts)
I thought, I can do something

the attendant beside me, tears now flowing from lost eyes
(whose smooth blond hair now even looked like my daughter’s)
backed up, her trembling hand brushing my shoulder
(did I think, the last human touch for her, for me?)
my hands grabbed her fingers and I squeezed them gently
(just as I had my own child when I left her side at the altar—
did I say the same words, “Be happy, you deserve it...I love you”)
she looked at me, raindrop tears now instead of fears
we smiled faintly as I pulled her to my seat and rose to my feet

outside the windows
gray square stones now filled the air
blocking the morning sky
where are the clouds I thought…
but only for a second
we
are
not
hostages
we are…going to…

I did not feel the cabin floor as I moved towards the miscreant crew
between me and the cockpit door
I was young, light and agile again, sailing at them
their words no longer calling for their god
but now they spoke in direct command,
nothing of some promised land, but
“STOP OR WE WILL…”
we will…what?
Could I have laughed at the irony…
or we will what?

another now with me, no older than my son
(and looked like he as well)
headed down the aisle
towards men now racing to meet us
four against two
but somehow I knew we would never meet

the lump was in my throat again, my clenched fists relaxed
my own teary eyes turned to the windows, away from the maddening screams
and between endless glass, steel, and stone
I got a glimpse of pure blue sky

my words fall

clumsil
y

into the small of yr back
my sentences

break
and crack

i become
lost in
yr skeleton yr skin

the sinews
that connect you
collect words
that cannot be spoken
yet

broken words soaked in sweat
trail from my pores
my skin
silently begging
to seep in
to yr most vulnerable muscles
yr bed yr sheets

i forget how to speak
i trip
over dream words
over the gentle curves
of yr spine

i'm stalling time
dying to say
lah,

i'm losing my language
in the soft of yr skin

my lack of expression
is simply
you

****-ing

the breath from my lungs
and filling me
with awe
"lah,

Tower of Silence - Track 5

Verse 1
Listen
Is this just my own selfish ambition?
All my doubt is taking over my vision
Could the letters in my head be my mission?
Or would the go ahead and be better off dead?
Would someone ever listen to this point or am I just missing?
Question
Is this my commission or am I just faking submission?
I must be ignoring the lesson
‘Cause I don’t know if I am dying or living
Or if dying is even worth giving
This is my faith that He’s testing, but I’m denying His blessings
Because for His sake, I’m abusing His grace
The name plate, isn’t His face
I’ve been given a new name to exclaim
But I walk and I will stay the same
I’ll talk but I’m repeating the game
Taken His own life to make a way
Given His Son in order to save
But I’ve made my own way to the grave
So whether this is dying or living
I’m so far from fulfilling
I’m too far from flying
I think I’m dying
( At least you’re trying )

Pre-Chorus
I want to fly
But why can’t I
Take up Your wings
I want to sing

Chorus
I am dry
Can’t You feel?
Can’t You speak?
I fall as I believe
I’m drifting as I think

Verse 2
Doubt, deep seeded but when it sprouts
I without a doubt know what it’s all about
But still I can feel like I’m left without
Dealing with these seasons of drought
I conjure up things He’s know to conquer
So why Father and I still bothered?
Oh how frustrating, it must be
As I sit here comfortably
How degrading, I must seem
As I fade here underneath
I know it’s dire, the sharing of this fire
I aim to inspire but the motion seems to expire
With the notion that our time is fading
And I’m debating if I’ll be waiting
So my fire seems to be waning
I have a comfortabLE ROutine
But my part seems to be fidgeting
As the sun with fade away, and my life with turn to grey
Pressure starts pulling at my brain
My faith drained—spirit contained
I’ve been robbed of my peace with the peace treaty
I’ve made with the pieces of what’s creeping
It’s the same game every day—same as it always is
Don’t want to speak my mind—waste my time explaining this
I’m an escape artist
It’s not written on my wrists, but let me present these skits
I’m a Pharisee and here I sit
Only content with the abyss
There seems to be no empathy
I’m on the verge of blasphemy
I’m alright so quit asking me
Who to be, how I see
Out of sight I walk absently
To walk by sight is just for me
The darkness suits me comfortably
This is what happens when I’m taken by worry
I guess it’s because I don’t feel worthy

Verse 3
With what little of You is in my plans
I trudge through these stark and barren sands
My ocean is dry, a parched and des’late land
Taking the water of Your salvation into my own hands
But even as I cry, I found that as I
Look up towards You sky, I find it doesn’t meet my sight
So how worthy am I that You would go to die and trust me enough to make the eye
The problem is I can’t tell the difference between my sea and His sky
I don’t know which is which or where to start, light or dark
I’m just rowing alone, caught in the undertow
Can You drown my life?
I’m rowing through my emotions in only fragments of my parts
These days it’s hard for me to tell what’s real
What’s the sky, what’s the sea
Which is fire, cold or heat
And even what I feel
So here, here’s a message in a bottle
For if You even bother
It’s the floating dingy of what I’ve been thinking to show You that I’m sinking
Send down a strike of lightening to show me what to do
Light up my sea so my ocean can turn blue
Hit me straight on so I can see You
This sea is far too dark, and my wound has become a scar
Show to me God what is true
And teach me to hold onto You

Refrain
Keep me hold of You
Keep me hold of You
Keep me hold of You

Pre-Chorus
I want to fly
But why can’t I
Take up Your wings
I want to sing

Chorus
I am dry
Can’t You feel?
Can’t You speak?
I fall as I believe
I’m drifting as I think

Book One
(∞The Psalm of The Star Child∞)
The Precursor's Psalm I-V

To the Child of The Empyrean. For ye valleity stars shine.

(I) ―En Fortissimo

1 Tender with sentimentality,
I fathom you,
2 That you draw closer, nigh’ with every waking moment,
Closer to ensconce ‘twixt my embrace,
3 That your towering arms
May aegis these benighted bones.

4 The Vestibule of Our Souls shall be
Assoiled by an Arcadian Eternity,
5 Shall scintillate in my every blooded tear, shed garnetiferously,
―Upon my crucifix, our crucifix:
6 A penance, pardoning our transgressions prognostically
Before by romance, we touched erringly.

(Se'lah)

(II) Celestial Communion

1 O, Star Child,
May your beckoning
2 Sow the Seeds of Somnus upon the sanctimony
Festering in my faith,
3 (A besmirched hope)
Tarnished by my reverenc’d doubt.

4 O Minstrel of Manumission,
Will ye sing unto me ye SoulSong?
5 The Womb’d Aethers bleed,
The Terraqueous Mother conceives, Gaian a dream,
6 Her Luminous Brethren yearn
For the Arbiter of Fates.

(Se'lah)

(III) Song of Wishes

1 Velleity speaks,
It whispers,
2 In the twinkling of the stars.
When shall it end,
3 When
It has yet to begin?

4 Be still― and become one with all things,
As time fades, consciousness begins,
5 The Experiential Cascade:
All that was, all that is, & all that shall be,
6 Circular & Cycling,
Forevermore.

7 Know that there is a reason,
Know that there is a place,
8 Know that there is a person,
In this world for you.
9 Open up your heart and see,
All you were meant to see.

(Se'lah).

(IV) Spiritus de Tempus (Zeitgeist of the Future)

1 ―Blooming in Reminiscence
The Dreamscape glistens,
2 A Redolent Reverie wafts
The Tenuous Air amidst
3 Her Zephry'd Lightwaves
& Crystalline Pulsations.

4 Ardently I pine,
For thine visage, groping for a rhyme,
5 Whence I can gaze once more upon thine
Countenance sublime,
6 All desperations been defied,
For thee I reverberate Love, The Spirit of the Times.

(Se'lah)

(V) Bastion Heart

1 The agony in existentiality
Unravels undying piety
2 And
Cloistered in cadence of solitude,
3 I, the Somnolent One,
Am roused by The Heart’s Resonance.

4 In wanting, there is life,
In desirelessness, wanting still,
5 Know thine Power,
Indomitable Will:
6 The Couer & The Amour of the Spirit
Are immortal.

(Se'lah)
Let the
Light of the Stars
Illumine
The Stygian Shadows
Of Thine Heart
Until Fulminous with Hope.

Enclaved within this text are the mystical writings. In gestalt, the holistic framework of this piece is known as the Precursor's Psalms. This particular piece is the Psalm of the Star Child which encompasses Chapters I-V of the Book of The Precursor's Psalms.

The narrative behind the Book of The Star Child is one of romance. I yearn for a soul with which to forge a connubial communion. Though the moment has yet to arrive, I await Eos's Dawn of Lovelit Life upon the Horizon of mine Mind's Sky.

The conceptualization behind this body of works involves a 21st-century take on the book of Psalms. This is a segment of the ecclesiastical writings. I believe that art takes on the essence of sacrality whence utilized for edificational purposes. I yearn to propagate spiritual enlightenment and inspiration; therefore, I am forging my insignia upon the Parchment of the Ages.

Hitherto, I’ve written without a clear sense of direction. Aforetime, I see poetry as a means of chronicling sentiments, thoughts, ideas, images, et al. through the personalized utilization of words, rhythm, and rhyme. I want the oppressed coals of my trials and tribulations to forge creative diamonds; moreover, I want my faith in the Sovereign of Songbirds to unveil Himself in the lovely bones of my work.

My morning ritual consists of reading the Bible Book of The Psalms. Specifically, I read Psalms 1, 5, 15, 23, 25, 26, 27, 42, 51, 55, 91, and 119; therefore, it is quite apt to create a piece that resembles this poetic book in its ineffable magistry. It is my objective to encourage others to pen their sentiments. I write for the sake of the Poetic Posterity.

Here lies the nascent phase of The Precursor's Psalms. Let the inspiration unfurl in a poetic paradigm. Let the Experiential Cascade weave a tale that carries the Burdened Anima unto the Peaks of Transcendence. From my heart to yours, may you effloresce in the Aeonic Light of The Empyrean One.

That interim between dreams and consciousness, that momentary lapse of reality
When slave children don't howl and the wild animals lay tamed in sun traps, weary

Your scattered thoughts betray reality
and you
question everything - now waking
Smiling chief, chirping loud
Your body gathered and prepared
under torchlight in dusty tents
Ingesting iboga and that old familiar numbness overpowers
You've been here for a life now, looking back on your life now
hatasha hullah - dey
vey, okay, huttah, ulay

Witch doctor, tribal medicine, fanning smoke from a wild fire
flashing imagery akin to memories of when life was decadent
you remember the taste of stray rain drops on your upper lip on muggy British summer days
and waking on a beach, bloodied as the sand at your feet is the next recollection, how powerful
the act of reflection, as you recall the mirrors of the sea and your torn body weakened and inept
The gathered village chant in unison and splinter groups fall off beat only to rejoin intermittently

Remember the Burmese boy far from home on the Gabon shoreline
and he informs you of your own death,
and asks you why do you breathe still?

Oh laa, ley ley lahh ley lah

On some beaten path lost in Angola you carried two packs, food for the world
but you fell starving and spluttered on the rock that looked like your home
Rebels run wild in jeeps black as night, your supplies strewn on rubble grounds
- hatasha hullah - dey
Taken in a flurry, twittering birds in far off trees betray your trust and fly away
in the opposite direction, and the juggernaut jeep catches air over uneven tracks
You were scared and crying under blindfolded eyes and captors jeered, captivated
- parablah nuh parrah
An orchestrated mass of military garbed children with rifles gather you abruptly
when the car stopped with a rumble
And tied to rusted rigs you're gagged and stripped, bloodied your face now
as they beat you and laugh
- vey, okay, huttah, ulay
Congolese giant man, sword in hand and grimacing through bared teeth
Making bold gestures and speaking some inscrutable language
You cannot answer and fear is now in control, you shiver in the ghastly draft
On failure to answer you must be beaten, your back is lashed, repeatedly
- narralah, narrah, nutay
You remain silent but cry in disparity, after shrieks of horror finally escape your barren lips
Through stinging eyes you assess the surroundings after hours of torture when they retire
to their leather beds of shame and innocence faltered, try and remember how to live
- Oh laa, ley ley lahh ley lah
Months must have passed, survive off insects and morning dew on the muddy floor
This African wasteland, time forgotten, child soldiers and lack of humanity is trivial
Always scheming, recollect the armament and through door-way shack trapped light
you see a clear path, and it is good
- ley hatasha hullah - dey
The pinnacle nightfall anticipated arrives, and your skinny wrists released now easily
(their faltering lack of knowledge and abundant braggadocio betray them)
AK laying in moonlight illumination, a sign of God perhaps, but experience proves otherwise
(How cruel the dreams you had of such a gift)
When they spot you leaving, the night lights up, wild crackle of gunfire, heart beats, tribal drums
(To massacre children, such proficiency, the dreams were mindful)
No lapse in concentration, you may ruminate on objective morality in due time
(Crawling through blood and bodies of children, so pure, cadavers tell lies)
The clearing ahead in giant trees, you run and don't look back, praying for no pursuit
(Another genocide committed by a white man, justified perhaps this once)
Weeks pass and you falter only to slurp rain water from Congolese sipping cups the leaves
(Blacking out somewhere in the Republic, or on a border or who cares, as you died long ago)
- vey, okay, huttah, ulay
  ley hatasha hullah - dey

To awake from hallucinogen dreams, and cruel memories linger, it's painful you agree
Witch doctor still sings, lonesome now as the tribe apply ointments and silently pray
The fire still dances to some incredible song and your scars redacted, physical and other
How incredible the mind feeling fuzzy and that insane dream is just that - a dream
You black out again, a common occurrence but upon waking you're free, no tribe exists
With a sheepskin rucksack full of cassava, plantains and sugarcane and cocoa beans
Months pass and you make it to the North, when you leave Africa your body is new
and your mind is stable, no lingering cognizance or frightful thoughts of a forgotten ordeal

You arrive in Turkey, to partake in ***** with nimble girls
and I see you floundering on silken sheets,
My memories were fresh as the nymph on your lap
I write to you a note, and you turn alabaster, moon faced being
I was there always and saw every moment
Your ideals on morality are hazy at best, and to your behest I detest all that you stand for
Is your afterlife so pure, now that bodies litter the forest floor
and do you believe that I am not (a) God
and is this mere poetry, or an indictment of your folly and a warning to all whom engage
but do you not also see that every reaction was an action taken to your original action
and when all is said and done, do you no realise that from the day you were born
you were born a God and that God was born dead
and this is just that interim between expiration and consciousness, that momentary lapse of reality
when slave children don't howl and the wild animals lay tamed in sun traps, weary

Kau datang di saat ku menginginkanmu
Kau bagaikan menerangi hidupku
Ku tersenyum di setiap waktu
Ku selalu memikirkanmu

Kau menjauh entah mengapa
Ku tersadar bahwa ku yang memulainya
Kau tak sedetikpun berbicara
Ku hanya bisa menyesal

Ku mulai belajar tuk melupakanmu
Ku buka hati ini tuk yang lain
Namun tiba-tiba kau datang dengan sejuta kata
Entah apakah kau berpura-pura peduli pada ku

Kau menyentuh hidup ku, lagi
Kau buat aku menginginkanmu, lagi
Kau buat aku salah tingkah, lagi
Serasa tak ingin aku kehlangan mu, lagi

Kau membuat aku bersyukur pernah mengenal mu

Aku sampai didepan pagaarnya.

“Sedang apa kau kemari?
Kukira bapak cuma sekedar cerita. Ibu dan mbah biasanya menakut-nakutiku.”
“Apa menurutmu aku terlihat seperti orang jahat?”
“Tidak. Bapak terlihat seperti—”
“Ya?”
“Orang sedih, pak.”
“Lho, mengapa?”

“Hmm.. Apa ya.. Warna yang dicampur-campur.. Lima warna.. Garis putus-putus..”
“Ini warna-warna dan suara masa lampau.”
Aku menatapnya penasaran,
“Kau masih ingat Memento Mori?”
“Pengingat kematian?”
Seolah kami takkan pernah bersatu lagi.”
Aku memotong kedua kakiku.”
“Apa tetangga-tetanggamu tak berpikir kau gila, pak?”
“Tentunya.
“Mereka menuduhmu menculik anak-anak.”
“Aku tak pernah menculik mereka, mereka datang sendiri, dan aku memperlakukan anak-anak itu sepantasnya.”
“Dasar, gosip ibu-ibu.”
Cerita mengerikan itu terus menghantuiku. Tapi aku tak dapat berhenti mengunjunginya. Aku kasihan padanya, bapak itu pasti kesepian;

Sama sepertiku.

Aku masih ingin bermain.

Semalam sebelum ulang tahunku, aku melesat ke Pondok Pancawarna. Aku bersembunyi diantara semak bunga biru sampai pak pelukis menemukanku.
“Hei, apa yang kau lakukan?”
“Sembunyikan aku, pak! Sampai dua hari ke depan?”
“Apa? Mengapa?
“Jangan membohongi dirimu, nak.”

“Hei, ayolah, jangan murung.

Keesokan harinya kami masih bermain, bersenang-senang.
Saat aku mencoba untuk melewati gerbang mawar, di depan tirai kain tebal itu;
Aku mencoba untuk melewati gerbang mawar, didepan tirai kain tebal itu;
Aku masih tak dapat melewatinya,
Tapi sekarang aku tak melihat taman bunga, ataupun wajah ibu dan mbah yang terlalu dekat—
Aku melihat ruang tamu rumahku,

VI: The Paean of Lovelight (The Paean of Lovelit Life)

1 Every particle in the soil of my epidermis roves for its emanation,
Its musicality, vibrating in pulsing fuchsia shockwaves,
This melodic energy is the Paean of Lovelit Life.
2 It reverberates the remittance in reminiscence;
yes, the Circle of Life breathes through the conduit,
it peregrinates
The ephemerality, even, the eternity in all entity.

.via ghana: i iz welcome the haiku poetic extractionz of the maxim: full-on potentiality of - few words maximum effortz! one wishes to almost die from feng shui minimalism! chinese geomancy and european chiromancy (reading balzac et al.) - but the sigh poetic of pepsi max effort iz wot iz the breaking of the camel bonk and backß... last time i heard from a kenyan bartender... all the timber comes from ghana... as does the wheat from ukraine and the salt from poland... coal is always "elsewhere"... or no coal... wind... the wind comes from: far far away... beyond the language of the seven vowels...

it took much of an effort to have to overcome
a reading of Stendhal...
esp. when you find him in your teens..
almost impossible...

it's enough to visit a brothel:
once a year... perhaps skipping a year...
and there's enough body,
and skin, and warmth...
to contrast... what i'm yet to read about...
otherwise have read, i.e.:

2010s through the 2020 summary...
lucy holden now 29...
sexting, dating apps, bisexual flings
flatmates with benefits...
millenial serial dater...

all the details are already known...
mine? that strip-clup in athens on a whim
with two strippers either arm
burrowing my face solving the mole
in their cleavage...
the goodmayes borthel with the romanians
that said a very bulgarian word, once...

and who can ever forget
the south african cocoon ****-accusation
of: not unde the bed-sheets and please
oil up rather than dry-******* me...
or the thai surprise picked up
in a park and that a little bit of heavyweight
beer and some jazz and a garden shed will allow...
the number of times i've had ***...
well... what are fingers for?

the black girl with a coccyx like an iron maiden
attempting to tattoo itself onto my pelvis...
2nd time round?
i heard she had a child and his daddy
would be bringing him home the morning to come...
and this other black woman,
oh i mean: full detail - woman...
two children sleeping on the bed...
get dragged off...
thrown to the bed...
and i'm there to **** an imitation ******
of... a tight fold of legs...

it's not exactly **** but even with that:
i'm not a best fitter...
so tell her: it's not going to happen...
we pretend to sleep or at least i do...
when this afro-fur-ball with a plucking sound
of a smooch is standing at the end of the bird...
he's naked i'm naked everyone's naked
i pick him up like i pick up maine *****
and lay him on my chest...
i can't allow a river of fingers through
his afro tangles... so i pat them down...
and he falls asleep...

***... oh no ***** word about it monsieur!
just this *******...
oh but i'm glad that some girl nearing
her 30s has made up her mind up...
only recently i've heard that my mother was
attempting to woo a married man
who was part of the Solidary movement
and probably waiting for a greencard...
i heard this... from my grandmother...

i'm still pampering on the sly for
a Mary Antoinette...
Ilona was wrong... i wouldn't become
a child strapped to a hellhole of a teenager's bedroom...
i'd become a leech hybrid...
as along as i have enough excuses
to return for "the word"... and never rap it...
i'm fine fine... best be on my optimal behaviour...
to never find myself in a baptists' church choir...

- there's also a quick fix procedure...
the match of the day is watched
with the mascots on screen...
the ben-hur's not making it to
prophetic status... yes the bread...
yes the circus... and all those cul de sac...
soap operas of parking scenes...

and there's always language...
best expressed when drunk...
never sober because is what delves into
the formality of: dear sir / madam,
kind regards...

the day when i stopped combing my fair
and peered at the beard...
uncombed hair: almost reminds
me of donning a pineapple on it...
an ancient buddhist balancing act...
like performing the act of gravity...
without copernican mathematics...
as simple as finding the CENTER on
a bicycle... or like finding
buoyancy in a swimming pool...
perhaps i am more water than flesh...
but i'm also a fraction of fat...

i can float on water if i can find
the balance... i don't need to play
the drunkard treading water surviving
to stay afloat.... i... relax...
then i float.... or bob-on-the-surface
teasing an unexpected shark-bite-attack...
although: swimming in a sea
is not my thing...
i very much appreciate seeing
the bottom i can dive down toward
and touch... the chernobyl stink of chlorine...
is almost a parisian perfumery...

heat breeds diseases it breeds...
insects...
i abhor the heat...
the zenith of winter is yet,
is yet to arrive... and for the help of god:
i can't arrive at... writing sober...
should "poo'etry" ever be written sober
to begin with?
i mind: that i don't mind...

i can find 8pm and 9pm quite:
which implores you to not quit - curb colt...
i was making a sponge apple stuffing
roulade...
after having made some biscuit
with brown sugar and diadems of hazelnuts...
and prior to some sausage rolls...
three fillings...
cranberries with some peppers and
chillies...
fennel seeds with apple...
and the third... the third...
i don't quiet remember...

my head was exploding with a brain being
towed and all was:
i am yet to grieve a passing,
a tax of death...
i am yet to be left half imbecile and half
of any other texas hold-up poker game...
i'm wishing for...
that quarter of a million of a bet
i placed on:
one team wins...
but both have to score...
ergo... catching a mosquito by the testciles
donning boxing gloves chance...
2 - 1 etc. victories...

i don't want to blame women...
the last one i was serious about...
she's on her 3rd marriage or whatever...
and i'm still in woad: in deep blue
coinciding with...
god's roulette...

as a testiment of man...
there's the ambition to find: the void...
to find nothing...
and from that... find the thinking thing...
res vanus: the emptiness
that can be fathomed with more or less
thinking, than a yawn's presence...
because...
descartes doesn't really exact ontological,
whatever...
i can't be and be:
when i churn out a day-dream and
a day-dream is all that is...

thankfuly i have nothing to "work"
with... most women only have boredom to begin
with....
at exactly 20 minutes to 1am...
i'm not so sure...
a mother can say: you stink...
then you go and buy something from
a convenience store...
and the cashier stresses how fresh you smell...
that's quiet something...
a woman likes the way to smell to her...
in between doing these *******
tribunals of sweating over
apple roulades...

and Stendhal... it's only my mother...
i just have to gnash my teeth
and apply the burden of sober...
this canvas... no other...
i drink for the 1 hour pleasure
of disorientation...
a shot in the head in some Ukranian

stiched to the next to be executed...
chikatilo...
i'm not exactly fond of the company...
but i'm pretty sure...
kurt cobain... and his shotgun antics...

and how the prolonged death appeal
of Christine Chubbuck lasted much longer...
Kafka said it right:
a stab at the heart...
**** colt and boyo... don't aim for the head!
that's how Ukranian convicts die...
shot in the back of the head...

that's the heart... how do you think
the urban myth of the cockroach that lived
for 2 weeks more was born?
the head didn't have a mouth to ingest

shot in the back of the head is an execution
that, done in an Ukranian prison cell...

of seeing death in movies?

well thank god they did a movie about
Christine Chubbuck's (rage against the machine):

i'm here to hush and sweep the leftovers...
because why would you march

Venice, Paris, Rome, Athens,
Amsterdam, perhaps Edinburgh
(wink-wink nudge-nudge)...
Barcelona...
or... Grindadráp of the Faroe Islands...

capture a polyphony in language that is hardly
ever going to be much more
than a chance to... to do that...
shove three fingers into your gob...
expect an elevated volume of sounds...
call the hounds! a mile away!
i was never allowed to learn that
whistling "trick"...
perhaps that's why i never managed
to play the trombone or the clarinet...
the ****-poor leftover guitar...
which is as much as having to read
braille!

reality: i live in england but i'm a ******...
i haven't ****** an english girl...
or a ****** girl...
i was close! a ****** girl licked my face
like a cow, once...
chin, lips, nose and forehead...
i was actually waiting for e.t. when that
happened...
the pakistanis have all the english girls...
sorry... it's sad...
but... the australia...
the fwench... the russian...
it's a decent rubric...
crude... nuanced...
so is buying fwesh meat at the butchers...
the perfect crime is less severe...
fiddling with a tombstone...
then towing it for 2 miles...
to bury the remains of your cat...
after your neighbour "accidently" killed him
when you were away...
and of course they deny it...

after all... i live in a society...
innocent until proven guilty...
said jimmy saville...
it's not the old... european "misunderstanding"..
of guilty until proven innocent...
if not a real story of Tomasz Komenda...
there's the Shawshank Redemption...
or there's... the Count de Monte Cristo...

if all are innocent until proven guilty...
what's that? the genesis story never happens...
it's hardly a moral deterent...
isn't it? people will do as any aleister crowley
would command them to do:
do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law;
this is a naive presupposition of
fudge-packed jurisprudence...
what should have been egg-whites..
it merely some sugar dissolved in water...

statistical counts aside...
i would be more inclined to... fear...
being held guilty... to then be allowed "innocence"...
that to being held innocent...
to then be forced as a doubly-culprit!
how does the double jeopardy paradox arise...
from the high pillar of: innocent until
proven guilty?!
law is at one's own leisure...
should all be bound to an innocence...
revisions of the biblical metaphor...

if we can all be innocent...
wouldn't we at least all fathom an innocent
attempt to break some law?
for a matter of: testing the waters?
even if innocent until proven guilty is true...
there's no narrative of redemption...
why is it that the shawshank redemption
is such a popular movie?
since it adopts the continental motiff of:
guilty... until proven innocent...
it offers... redemption...
it's a popular movie because it's unfair
for the basis of a single individual...
not some amassing of victims of a jimmy saville
recount... that have... none... zilch...
no redemption!
their redemption: ist tod!

because if i were to be found guilty...
with no chance of defence...
i would exercise a double-think in relation to this...
rather than exercise this leisure into
grieving the orwellian zeitgeist monstrosity of
but the one novel...

i'm not convinced of the english model...
this... innocent until proven guilty...
this pontius pilate argument...
i'm not for it! this sinking to the core of my heart
and hopefuly, prevents me from a heartbeat...
perhaps so fewer examples of
the #metoo would come to the fore...
if... one were not so easily allowed
a ststus of innocence...
perhaps... guilty until proven innocent...
doesn't allow...
so readily accessed accusations...
perhaps this modern, english model of
jurisprudence...
is missing a medieval lisp?

as law abiding as would suggest...
i would be much more deterred from inacting
a grievance should i be found guilty...
without a benefit of a doubt of a jury...
than if i were to be given the a priori: innocent
status...

i don't like this: england and greenwich in tow
is the bellybutton of the world
demand of... all else is less than we...
no... did i come from Algiers?!
what has Algiers to do with it and Leeds
shouldn't?!

at least that's how a man sobers up...
while still drinking...
he might focus on sober demands...
of topics that only drunks should speak of...
and since neither of the two meet...

because i have stood as a witness
in a court...
and i was given a photograph to...
"compare" having identified him in a mugshot...
the photograph i was shown still
had a date imprinted on it...
and this was the ******* argument...
the photograph was years old...
i identified the culprit in the police mugshot...
but the case was "won"... for no apparent reason...
the witness said: i...
this photograph is years old...
i can grow a beard and hippy attire in a year's time...
of course i was the witness that said:
note down the registration plate
of the car this camel-jockey jumped out of
and grabbed m'ah fwends mobile...

i've seen how: innocent until proven guilty works...
i'm not conviced...
i can't be... there's something instinctual preventing
me from adhering to this english...
jurisprudent sensbility...
it's hardly a ******* charles dickens novel...
if it were... and i greatly underestimated
charles dickens... no... really...
i shouldn't have read any of dostoyevsky...
i should have read charlie ****'oh'ends...
believe me when i say that is hould have...
since... heidegger's ponderings VII - XI
will retain their shelf-status as... the book most
probably unread...

such is the sobering process...
am i, in no way, allowed to sacrifice my 'ed
on the premise that: innocent until
proven guilty is the right categorial imperstive
to buckle on... since...
the anglophonic world buckles on it...
like a spectacular breakdance feat of
a penguin on steroids...
doing the diving header tsunami
of chore: the crowd goes wild!
it's no operatic applause and being
"superficially" reminded as to how...
find your proper seat...
before the castrato peacock does his
singing bit...
apparently finding one's seat
when it's never going to be a maggot-pit
at a slipknot concert is all that's
about to happen...

come by the butcher's and let's attempt
in finding you some oysters
among the volume of red boisterous...
to replica your genital parts
and sordid caviar letfovers...

perhaps i could be angry...
but la ilah illa blah'lah...
i am... halway bound between
being simulation circumcised
and being castrated...
i never which is which...
notably, given...
circumcised men are not allowed
the impetus of taking up
web-cam Susan on promise of...
also pleasing themselves
without wanting to earn some money...

it's a real problem though:
innocent until proven guilty versus
guilty until proven innocent...
relish...
the english indiosyncratic
wishing they were scandinavian iceland...
no... honey too sweet tooth bear...
this is not how the GMP affair that exends
with its genesis in the jimmy saville affair
looks like...
this quest for: apparently "superior"
is not going to work on me...
kin of a kind-of luvvie dubby...
bon voyage!

the entire continent is listening...
individualistic rights...
innocent until proven guilty...
the more i reiterate these words...
the more i sober up...
because i can't see how...
i am: a thief...
until i am proved to be... a thief...
by having performed the act
of thieving...
or not even an "after"...

sorry... please expose your divine
rational intelligence and tell me
via a reiteration that 2 + 2 = 4...

i am not a thief,
but i am a thief...
only if the act of stealing is proved...
and if "the" act of stealing is not proved...
i'm way more than a thief...
i'm a thief with a baby driver!
this anglican logic *****...
if innocent until proven guilty...
is to sustain the individual flourishing...
i'd rather make theatre of the original,
biblical deterrent...
a queen of this sort of popish claims
and her duaghters of yorkshire because...
the pawns of justitia...

conventionality of continetal thinking...
there's not even a "what if" or
"it would be better" should... allow,
extended into:
guilty until proven innocent...
rather than... innocent until proven guilty...

i sometimes find myself chattering...
in the cold...
but i'm not chewing anything...
i'm pretending to pivot the piano on a ghost...
being played as some per se magician's
excavation of: whatever time...
thus it was spent...

i call it chattering chopin...
bite marks available... like the multitude
of signature most willing to be...
allocated a collection foreseeable...

the would the artichokes of arabia...
or the fennel roasted roots of Italy...
there's something to be had of a woman
sporting the "cherokee" leopard-skin prints
on something that's...
90% cotton and 10% lycra?!

and the reason why i visited a brothel
in the past ten years was because?
if i want to play poker...
i'll play poker...
easy ***? it's not so easy in the act
and you want to find a kiss and...
she tells you: it's against the laws
of this sort of nunnery...
but you still manage to slurp a lip or two
of a shy pluck of the tulips of the sea...
or however this thing that
language is works...
if it's not going to be a hammer and nail...
forever... this "excuse" to allow nothing
more than YA novels...
metaphors and... pedantry of elswhere
from punctuation?

herioglyphic assumptions of :) emoji?
wink barrel baron! oi!
non-responsive...
black also implies: ivory beauty...
i started to admire their teeth...
since mine were always going to be
custard yellow death grin...
like bone to the rot...

no... i'm pretty sure tonight ends
here; now;
the prodigy - destroy...
given how... keith flint...
and that horse... and it was never a tale
of the stormy badger...
and how the fox is my aid and will
never make it to...
transcend the red coat hunting parties...
because... just because.

Cerita Pendek Tentang Hantu*
Sebuah cerita pendek*

Padahal, Sundari sama seperti kita.

Terkadang huruf i di hilangkan, sehingga menjadi Sundar saja.

“Dasar, dia memang Sundari!”

Padahal dahulu Sundari hidup tenang,

Sekali lagi, Sundari bukanlah hantu. Ia manusia yang teraniaya sama seperti kita. Manusia yang disalahi.

Kalau dipikir lagi, bukannya setan terkejam adalah manusia sendiri?

Yah, itu sih sudah berpuluh tahun lalu. Entah apa jadinya Sundari sekarang. Sekarang lelaki cenderung berambut pendek, tak seperti dulu.

Aneh, omong kosong, isapan jempol.

mana mungkin rindu aku terasa
jika diungkap dengan bait bahasa

sayang
dakaplah aku
rasakan rindu aku
lepaskan lah.
biar aku bebas terokai dunia
tanpa rasa sekat dalam raga

aku penat
-menunggu sesuatu yang tidak pasti
dalam hal ini, adalah kamu

jalan yang dahulu kita lewati tengah malam kini kian sunyi
dulu, ada sahaja tawa kita kedengaran
entah
tapi
bagai aku tersekat

sayang
andai kau rindu
andai kau rasa perit dan pahit ini
lepaskan lah aku

*agar aku bebas teroka dunia

Biji mentari mulai retak.

Rindu mulai menjerat kaki-kakiku.

Just for fun - a song
Bintun Nahl 1453 Jan 2015

Tahun baru t'lah berlalu
Terasa sedih awal kehancuran
Yang kan menimpa awal hidupku

Bulan pertama t'lah berlalu
Terlihat kesibukan dalam hidupku
Hingga ku lupakan kewajibanku
Amarah pun datang dari Ibu

Ku merasa bersalah..
Tapi... Tak terasa ada salah
Bulan ini penuh derita
Februari sumber derita

Ku harap di esok kelak
Ku bisa terlepas dari derita
Ku tak ingin menderita
Ku rela awal ini saja menderita

Nirvanic Transcendence)

To pine is a pang,
To envisage
Is to breath.

Perhaps that
Is the only solace
My feeble soul
Can bear,
Without you.

By your alabaster skin
Vein my eyes
With luminescence.

With your tender caress
Saunter my
Voracious skin.

Weave my Chrysalis,
By your
Susurrant voice.

Cocoon me
In your
Flawless serenade,
That I metamorphose
Bearing the
Sacrosanct Wings of Phantasmagoria
And
The Melisma of Your Piety.

Pearlescent blood
Floweth within me,
Like baptismal rain,
As I muse
When you alight
Once more
In my Cosmos.

I am yours,
Floral Fallal.

Hey guys! I've been doing a great deal of experimenting with my writing as of late. This piece is an embodiment of all the introspection, musings, tribulations, and heartbreaks I have experienced as of late. I hope you all can appreciate this piece despite the quasi-obscurant references that I present bereft of explicit detail.

The core of this piece lies in the fundamental nature of our dreams, yearnings, and aspirations (as well as the shadows born of the loveless blight). It effloresced it something much greater as I continued to refine it. Hope you guys like! God bless!

Poorly equipped,
Painfully whipped.
A threadbare Abyssinian
Did shuffle on
With all hope gone
In search of an opinion

But much deplored
When not ignored
This abject Abyssinian
Did seek in vain
Something arcane
To exercise dominion

And as he sought,
So lost in thought,
Through sands of Kalahari
He wondered how
He might avow
The freedom held so dearly

It struck at last
With trumpet blast
Amidst fields green with barley,
He boldly rode
And proudly crowed
The statement: “I am Charlie.”

Alloh Maha pengampun lagi Maha penyayang.” (Al Ahzab: 59)

Ketentuan Jilbab Menurut Syari’at

Wallohul musta’an.

Kelima

Wallohul muwaffiq.

Dulu diary ku indah
Sekarang telah ku ubah
Tapi, saat gagal bertemu kau
Ku satukan diary yang terpisah
Sebagai bukti dariku
Yang kan ku berikan untukmu
Agar kau tau
Seberapa besar  cintaku
Kasih ku t’lah tercurah
Berdetik-detik, berjam-jam
Bahkan berhari-hari lamanya
Semoga dapat kau terima
Meski terluka akhirnya
Biar ku pergi saja
Lupakan kenangan indah
Dan yang paling menyakitkan
Tapi, takkan ku biarkan
Diary ku berubah indahnya

Wish I could
Think up
Stacks of the best stuff
And a snippet of summat ....brilliant

To.....cheer you up.

2.

...oh...
Wait!
Tell you what :)

For now, I send you
A double-dark choc.

Essemessically, of course!

Enjoy.
Please?

3.

I am silly, I know.
But I want you to smile.

Smiling....
Proves your heart works!

And to chill.

Am I a fool?
Maybe.
Yet, do ye see the worry in my eye?
No.....I don't  TINK so!

Gadis itu pulang dengan kepingan jiwanya
Berusaha untuk menahan segala rasa sakit
Semua ia simpan rapat-rapat walau tersirat dari matanya
Ia menghempaskan badan diatas tempat tidur
Sambil sesekali memijat keningnya, berharap rasa sakit tak akan hinggap kesana.

Lalu ia berusaha tak mengingat-ingat semuanya
Berharap entah bagaimana caranya agar ia mematikan perasaannya
Ia hanya menatap langit-langit kamar  sambil tersenyum pahit.

"Yah, begitulah realita hidupmu.

Tak terasa satu demi satu tetes air mata mengalir
Ia hanya bisa memejamkan mata dan berkata
"Aku sudah tak punya hati lagi"

Suatu ketika tak sengaja
Aku terbayang seseorang
Yang indah dengan senyuman

Sejak itu pun
Aku mulai menulis kata-kata
Dan aku rangkai
Sehingga menjadi kalimat-kalimat yang indah

Itulah puisi yang akan kupersembahkan
Hanya untuk dirinya
Di suatu tempat terindah di langit sana

Betapa senangnya hati ku
T’lah ku sampaikan isi hati ku

I don't know why
Some days I decide
I'm better off
Staying quiet
I neglect this world
And figure
It's better off
If I try not to
Transform it
This day

It's in my head
It's out of my mind

I'm upside down
It's inside out
You're underneath
Stay close to me

Help me breathe
I'm singing lah-dah, lah-dah, lah-dah

Mahluk Tuhan yang begitu murni
Menutup diri untuk tak terlihat
Melihat hanya dengan doa
Menggincu disisi akhlaknya

Dusta bahwa dia tiada lain dari sempurna
Dia lah arti kata sempurna
Dusta bahwa dia tidak berjalan dengan arahanNya
Dia lah jalan untuk diriku berpulang

Rajutan luka perih di jiwa
Penyembuh kesepian
Reinkarnasi seorang malaikat
Permata yang paling berharga

Kau adalah jantungku
Berdetak di setiap detik kematianku
Kau adalah darahku
Berjalar renang disekujur tubuhku

Membuatku merasa hidup.

Sekarang aku makin dewasa
Bapak... Mamak... Aku...
Anakmu kini 15 tahun
Ya Allah Terima Kasih atas Rahmat-Mu

Bapak, maaf bila esok ku tak berguna
Mamak, maaf bila esok ku gagal
Ya Allah, ampuni Hamba
Semakin dewasa, semakin ku berdosa

Tak sanggup aku melawan rasa itu
Aku telah bercinta...
Bercinta dengan nya
Ku tahu dia tak pernah di sini
Tuhan... Tuntunlah aku pada-Mu
Aku merasa hina di hadapan-Mu
Aku merasa hina di belakang orang tua ku
Ampuni Hamba Ya Allah...

Ku tahu t'lah berdosa

Hanya duduk merenungi sepi

Aku pun berdiri

Mendekati cermin di dekat ku

T'lah ku lihat kini

Bayang lain pengkejut hati

Namun, tak kuasa ku tahan tangis

Ingat-ingatmimpi yang lalu

Bintang-bintang kabur berkejaran

Bulan pun tak lagi berjanji pada ku

Untuk selalu menyinari aku

Malam larut hilang berganti pagi

Menusuk raga saat raga menyinari

Membunuh jiwa saat tak lagi kini

Ku rasakan malam yang hening

Di mana ku selalu teringat Belahan Jiwa

Yang dulu slalu mengiasi malam

Suatu malam aku gelisah
Menunggunya tuk hadir di sini
Dia yang sangat ku cinta
Pangeran dari Kerajaan Inggris

Ya Tuhan
Maafkanlah aku
Aku t’lah mencintai orang yang salah
Tolong bangunkan aku

Aku diam seribu bahasa
Aku menangis, “Aku hanya bermimpi!”

Lalu ku lihat seorang pria
Berdiri di depanku
“Ya Tuhan, aku bermimpi lagi”
Dia menyentuh tanganku

Sekali lagi...
“Ya Tuhan, ini nyata!”

Aku memeluknya
Dan kemudian aku benar-benar sadar
Inilah kenyataannya
Pangeran dari Kerajaan Inggris
