She sits there
With flaws on her body
She sits there
Hair on her legs making a little garden of roses
She sits there
Volcanoes on her face
Looking like they are about to erupt
Yet she manages to maintain balance and equality inside
Well sometimes
She sits there
Carelessly
Yet still with care for the world and everyone, everything, in it
She sits there
Still
With a tornado spinning the thoughts in her head
Making her deal with it because clicking ruby red heals doesn't make the problems go away
She sits there
Clutching the cross around her neck
Mumbling prayers
A cloud releasing small raindrops
She sits there
Being an ally,
A friend,
The person that listens when no one else does,
She waits for you to tie your shoe while everyone else walks away.
But she is also the one left behind on the sidewalk
She still sits there
Knowing how others treat her
But not letting that reflect negatively on how she treats others
She sits there
And look at that,
With a smile on her face,
She continues to grow,
Nothing prohibits her from moving forward,
She is unstoppable,
She is beautiful,
She is grace,
She is laughter,
She is sunshine,
She is light,
The light that awakens the dark,
The light that makes the moon shine,
She is everything and more.
She sits there
Being radiant
Being herself
She sits there
Knowing who she wants to be and what it takes to get there
She sits there
Patiently
She sits there
Being me
I am
Sitting there

Who are you? nobody or somebody?
a specie called human or a
specie known by its name
if that is so,
you share your name with many,
who are you? nobody?
then why are you here?
a null is also defined then why can't you, says another
who are you? somebody?
if that is so,
care to mention that some, says another
everything has an existential reason, says one
then, why can't the existence alone  stand as a reason? says another
living aimless shouldn't be a reason, says one
then, why say "live without conditions"
and so goes the questionnaire with the society
at last found to be one!
is it somebody or nobody?
is yet to figure.
in world of ablutions sometimes we feel the void in us then the question raised in the mind are put into ink

How do you
Forgive yourself
For all the
Things that
You never
Became?

You are a garden,
make the promise,
to feed yourself.
Tend your bed.

Surround yourself,
with fertile nourishment.
Swallow in the rays,
of positive energy.

Know what you are not.
Eliminate the weeds,
the friends and blood,
stealing what gives you life,
what makes you tick.

Know your companions.
Grow and deepen,
your roots with them.
Share the glorious light.

Open your palms, leaves,
to yourself.
Grow, rise, and promise,

to reach to the sky.

I’m a simple man and nothing more, of mediocre means neither rich nor poor.

People misunderstand my quirky ways, I don’t seem to give a flying fig these days.

I’m more than content with the man I’ve become, I march to the beat of my own drum.

I wear my failures like the finest weaves, but not foolish enough to wear my heart on my sleeve.

My imperfections I keep at my feet, so as not to trip I keep up with their beat.

Don’t look to me as shrewd or savvy, I just found in myself a way to be happy.

Sometimes,
When something bad happens-
Something so horrible,
That it hurts so much-
No matter what you're doing;
You don't care, what it takes,
To distract yourself from it all,
Do you?

if i don't know me,
how can anyone else?
if i don't love me,
how can anyone else?

i spend so much time on others,
i've forgotten to listen
and to love myself.
