Two Angels standing together,
On this blessed day,
Looking into, a bright blue sunrise.

A new life is waiting for them;

A white veil covering her face,
Majestic, sparkling dark eyes,
Her beautiful Soul, behind a fluttering veil.

Love is waiting to have and to hold.

Overwhelming desire,
Finally ending their lonely, lives,
Two Souls are joining in love.

Becoming, husband and wife.

I keep having dreams
Like I used to but
In black and white
I still had butterflies
In this one we got married
We were still nineteen
But when the time came
For you to kiss me
I fell sick with agony
Your kiss was laced with venom
I walked the aisle to the blues
The trumpet numbed my ears
I fell out of love with you
But you're still in my sleep
Why do you still make me weak?

Dear Wife,

My life, my love is all yours,
I will gonna love you forever.

I wanna tell you that you are a bliss,
But still, i must tell you that i have a wish.

When i die, burry me in backyard of our home,
Don't burn me with the traditional norms.

I know, on this, you would be about to cry,
But look at stars i will be in the sky.

Get me buried there, this have a reason,
Because i will always be with you every season.

Because i wanna be alive till my last breath,
Because i wanna be alive even after my death.

When you will grow plants in backyard,
In every flower, i will be smiling at you like a guard.

When you walk barefoot on grass,
You will feel me with every footstep pass.

When winds will blow,
You will smell me with the wind flow.

Because i wanna love you till my last breath,
Because i wanna love you even after my death.

When storm will come, don’t be numb.
Because protective wall i will become.

Don’t fear when it’s dark,
See me in light when it sparks.

When our children will play in lawn,
I will be watching them from dawn.

When you will be cooking inside,
I will feel the craving in wide.

Because i wanna be with you till my last breath,
Because i wanna be with you even after my death.

When it will be your birthday, Dress up like a pretty doll,
Because i will be still looking at you like a heart fall.

When our family will be celebrating together
I will be enjoying seeing you all getting stronger.

When you will be old, don’t make your life on hold.
I will still be with you, as i told.

Don’t be sad when you miss me,
I will always be around you in the winds,
Just hold your breath and kiss me.

Because I wanna be alive till my last breath,
Because I wanna be alive even after my death.

Hearts were racing and feet were running
Her trying to catch up in her white sneakers
Him holding onto her hand
With a smile when he looked back

Laughter was astounding and panting in between
Her in that little white dress, a small veil over her head
Him in that neat shirt, sleek jeans and a stunning white bow tie
"This is crazy..." they said

"Ready?"
"Not really."

Hearts were racing but feet were walking
Their hands clutched together, ever so tightly
Down the aisle they go
Towards an altar that they've failed to believe in

Laughter melted into little giggles and panting in between*
With minimal witnesses
They made silly vows
And exchanged simple rings

"I do."*

And they shared a kiss
One like no other
One that marked their ultimate bliss

"I love you." she whispered
"I know." he chuckled
And she hit him with the tiny bouquet
"Unbelievable." she scoffed in joke

"I know."
He said, gently
And he kissed her forehead
"Tell me all about it."

                                                           *And they laughed...
                                                         Ever so happily...

Last words are for weddings and for funerals,

But in a weird and cruel way,

Love can be both.
Two Deaths and a Funeral

Roses of pure enchantment rest in the hands of the bride.
The red of the petals matching the crimson lips,
where tongues and lies collide.
Where there is an eclipse of hearts and darkness has fallen,
each thorn will pierce true.
Hands so pale, hair so black;
a sickening beauty she tries to prove.
The trees surround her mystic display,
the air choking like a noose.
When the sunlight returns the shadows will creep,
my beauty there shall be no truce.
Her eyes the color of jade,
such as a black cat on Halloween.
The soul that lay behind them,
so lovely yet tainted, unclean.
Her body that of an hourglass,
but what happens when time runs out?
Each grain of sand, each faded memory;
will fall to the bottom no doubt.
Yet here you stand just inches away,
from the women that will cause your death.
No matter the place, when the bond is sealed,
my friend you’ll have nothing left.
Say your vows and exchange the kiss,
barely able to breathe.
She slips the poison into your glass,
you still think it’s meant to be.

We’ll light the wedding candle
Each year upon this night.
Remembering why as years speed by
We first stood to make this light.

Not for a love that’s ever true
Or a smile that ever cheers.
Not for the sick or crummy days
Or to share and conquer fears.

It’s for the days we forget to love
and when aggravations start to weigh.
It’s for the times we’ve both ******* up
But have chosen to love again a new way.

The candle will burn and the wax melt.
Someday, the wick will sputter and gutter out.
But it’s just a reminder and can be replaced
As long as we remember what it’s all about.
It seems I'm writing more often for events or gifts than anything else lately. I wrote this to go with a wedding gift for a friend. She seemed alright with it so I'm calling it okay, for now.

Yes, it's a lovely day, you say,
Is it your white wedding day?
Or is it a political funeral?
All set for a divorce, young gal?
Think it through a bit longer, eh,
Before that lovely white wedding day!
Feedback welcome.

As you walk down the aisle
of the church where we first met.
I see you smile,
the sweetest smile that I ever get.

You look so happy
in your white dress.
You're like an angel
so full of grace.

You enter the church
and the music played
and when you looked at me
I almost fainted.

In the front of the alter
You say your vows
Then came the candle, the ring and the chain

When you say I do
That's when I knew you really do.
But even though I want to
I can't really respond to you
because its not me that your are talking to.
to those who fell in love their best friends

a poetic darkness clings to
the edges of the room
ageless in its mental aberration
all the years of its incessant whispering softly the sounds
of a life forsaken to a hunt for
all the things that can never be prized possession
all the things that forever slip through seeking fingers....

my face demonized in the mirror
unchanged except by the years
still holds the taint and taste of her words
like a thick oily poison slowly seeping
from the soil of my eye
where such lovely dreams once grew
now only a parody of silhouette dark upon a shadow
the void form of a man against the cloudless gray sky

an emperor's tongue speaks regal
but the words spoken fall like black leaves from a black tree
dead and devoid of all aspects of a beautiful fall day
an emperor's tongue lavishly paints visions of such beauty to come
but like the footprints in newly fallen snow they are
doomed to fade in the sun
little lies constructed to tell the willing girl
that her satisfactions lay not in the mirror
but in the pit of some man's soul
in the vile places of lust and longing
her love to become a void form against the grandeur of starlight
her plans for the wedding now only faded ink written by a child

my face demonized in the mirror
I seek to choke out the words that would spell an end
to this mournful song
seek to extinguish the doubts and rages that haunt that image
I am the one who has made this face in the mirror
carved it out of the stone in my heart
I am the one who sees its ***** lines its twisted fable
my hand slips to the light switch and
turns off the forever eating at my soul
