We gaze, but must never listen to the
                     insecurities of something
as shallow as a vein of glass.

For a reflection is more shallow,
than the light refracting off it.
     Only look inward, never external.
late in the afternoon
a storm hawk
sounded his prophetic tune
within his blood
an inkling of the weather
which would prevail
his clarion call
went o'er the landscape
from a vantage point
high in a gumtree
it reverberated
so liberally
inside the hour
on the hills
and in the steep ravines
gullies rushed
in fast moving streams
he knew the weather drill
he knew it well
when skies would
spill a raining
gill
his predictive powers
sensed moisture
being about
hence his calling
resounded
in an innate vein

Drop by drop, grain by grain, overnight
the seeds of your love are growing inside my chest.
They spread their roots throughout my veins and capillaries.
But they don't know that,
my poisonous blood enter into their meristem gradually.
One day it will end them up with rotting roots and rusting leaves.
when they fight to survive.
Then please don't grieve yourself
When you did know that-
you planted on the moon's chest.

Maybe I fall too easy,
That might me my problem.
The spiral that which makes me so dizzy,
it doesn't appear to have a bottom
My chest screams a restless dream.
My love is my only fissure.
A small fault in my otherwise sturdy fortress.
Your lips escape this light little splinter.
Under my nails I can feel a heart broken chorus.
I can feel the ice overcome every vein.
With words so sharp, you glide right through me.
On my heart is a stain.
Whether you say you love me or not,
I'll still think it's the most beautiful spot.
I asked him if he loved me and he didn't say yes and he didn't say no

the Doctor will see you now
the nurse announces into the hallway
she doesn't shout - only raising her voice a little
louder to get my attention.
i'm nervous, it's my first serious appointment.

as i sit down the stool, She looks into my pupils
it's an eye exam, She says
lightly brushing across my face
skincare is of importance, also sleep more
your eye bags aren't a good sign

grabs my arm, pinching it lightly
muscle density isn't all that bad,
her rope of iron is hooked onto Her ears
a small disk between Her fingers
breathe in, breathe out

a stethoscope!
it presses against my chest, the palpitations almost
minuscule, yet She grabs onto my arm
Her ears almost dance at each knock
fingers tap to my rhythm

Her stethoscope presses harder down my chest
it's almost as if my ***** is pushing back
against the now warm instrument
then it sinks, i swallow it
down, down, in! she pushes lightly into my skin

why is Her warm hand in my chest?
She sinks deeper and deeper in
until she grabs the soft fruit of my Eden
She's gentle, feeling every jump in my chest
this is supposed to happen?

Her fingers caress every vein, studying it,
tracing it, she notes down the rate in her head
no good, She says, getting faster by the minute
my sweat pouring down my neck
isn't making this any easier, is it?

then Her hand slips out
i didn't realize she needed no gloves
She notes down Her measurements
in...  a blog?
be sure to be back tomorrow

i stand up, button up my shirt
i am sure to be back tomorrow.
A delirium
of truth
was there
to such
word in
us that
tired most
in coming
months so
any guidance
there with
selection then
started bleeding
without cause
or May
Day heard
thunderous applause!

I like long walks on the beach
with your hand in mine
and the heady sensation
of finely aged wine
I like this smothering heat
and my toes in the sand
like the hot coals of hell
in an underground land
I like the feel of your bones
between my teeth and
the squish of your veins
and the life you breathe.
idk, just rambling
we were like dying leaves in autumn
we even fell with beauty and grace
to our deaths, only to be stepped on
and have every dry vein in us, crack!
until we become dust, that the living
world breathes in, to feed off our death
and to feel alive
