Turn the sea upside down
Love can do it.

Light the night with warmth
Love can do it.

Move the mountain with a stroke
Love can do it.

Fill the storm with soothing music
Only love can do it!

You’re a flipped mirror upside wrong, right side right where you don’t belong,
Can’t tell where the end begins,
The horizon is the only thing that lives,
Unless the bottom drops out into a free fall heaven,
Taking with it the hopes that the reflection could be more than a hand made inception.
Let me fall back into my own right side wrong.
I wanna be in the background that finds its basis in the foreground,
So maybe I’d believe that the beauty exists in me,
So maybe the creativity could set me free.

Are you sad or unhappy
Depressed; Feeling lonely
Each day dark and dreary or blue?

Do not worry my friend
I know just how you feel
I have all the right answers for you

So to counter the downward
You start thinking upward
Bad thoughts will stick to you like glue

It takes more than just effort
You must remain strong
Fortitude; So this trip you'll see through

Now I want you to think
of a time you were happy
When things in the world all seemed new

Full of love and carefree
Innocent; Truly pure
Crisp and clean
; Much alike morning dew

When inside of your mind
you project types of thoughts
that are positive; Like "dreams come true"

It rewires your brain
Generates
new connections
Gets rid of the old residue

But you must stay the course
Don't give up in distress
And in time it will start getting through

It is hard I confess
But would never attempt
or could make a false promise to you

So if happiness is
what you want from your life
Yet it always finds ways to elude

The change comes from inside
Must have faith; Must believe
Make a batch of fresh "positive brew"

As you drink this elixir
In time you will see
Billiard ***** have all left but the cue

A blank slate to create
What you want of the world
Every color no longer just blue

Disagree or debate
If you finish the race
Like a big gust of wind that just blew

All the darkness now gone
Feel like 'here I belong'
Peace of mind; Life that's filled with love too

Two second-hands living in the same Big Ben
counter and clockwise beat together in a similar rhythm on opposing schedules of the day
she breaks her fast at around 8am, syncing with his injestion of supper and she collapses at midnight just as he reboots for the night shift
though they spend most of the ticks and tocks in varying angles
It was agreed upon that they meet on the sixth –
Definitely on the sixth of the week
to reconcile and kindle… caressing those can’t-be-helped blank spaces where fragments should have been

Just because
I've put my clothes on

upside down
inside out
and backway round

doesn't mean my mind has gone

must be still in my prime
it's not all at the same time.
My husband just said "that would be a good one for a children's 'nonsense' book"... I said "but it's not nonsense...when it's true"

Upside Down …by Jessie 6/05

Birds flying backwards, Lions sleep with lambs

Peace invading every home, all across the land

Summer time is very cold, up is always down

Take a trip to nowhere, King’s without a crown

Comics, never funny, all the news is good

Always do the things you’re told, like you know you should

Sleep awake and never dream, breakfast late at night

Third world countries in control, landfills now in sight

Walk in circles, back and forth, farm animals in the house

Cat’s chase dogs and elephants, aren’t frightened by a mouse

**** a man, he never dies, forget the ones you love

Throw a star up to the sky, which fell from high above

It’s a crazy world we live in, rules finely cast

Believe in anything you want, nothing ever lasts

Go on one by one
The search for purpose
Can be hard, oh lord
It feels like a curse
Sometimes.

But then, we feel lighter
The worry, stress
Goes away and it's brighter
All of it gets less
Sometimes.
Dedicated to my Brother.

I am the last hand on the earth
To compound and push down
To press the headache as it sounds
And fade it out

Away into the nothingness which awaits its new master
I am standing upside-down
Twisted inside until out
Living in the unlivable town

For I am the last hand on the earth
And as it stands I'm falling down
Upside-down

I was raised under shield and gun
Looked in my fathers eyes and grew under thumb

Theres awes for mah stalls
Hug and hold you in our paws
for the cause
we pause for this applause

I make friends
I get blown
I make friends
I go home

I make friends
and get shown
the Dark side
of the moon

skip tracks
forget facts
neural lightning
get stacked

I end my cigarrete
and grab my beer
Wander in horror
Its my self that I fear

Salty frozen pearls glimmer
in the passing, fading carlight
I keep rooted in the shadow
and stay running from mah fright.

It knocks in my head
never alone
it follows my steps
crucial loss of character
in need of a seraph
some sort of
charsimatic actor
some sort of
emblematic factor
