monkey men, they
Worship the wax moon
yet are quick to rip away
All goddesses of her will to live raw.
If we can reveal the moon and her bare light from blue shadows
He, like time must watch through water
As dreams smear together
The skin of our feet reveals them, remembering where we’ve been.

I'm scared of what will come
But united we can overcome

Each test, each war, each trial
So let's sit down and listen a while

We've got to reach over and extend a hand
Offer a chance to work together and take a stand

We can't let our differences tear us apart
We can work together, and here's where we start

There's no need to shout and scream
Let's turn this nightmare into a dream

It's no one's fault, don't think that way
If we don't see the problem, it won't go away

This beautiful land is yours and mine
This wondrous ball of joy and life

United we stand, divided we fall
So let's work together, one and all

If it were easy, we would've done it long ago
Let's finally start saying yes instead of no

We can stand tall together
We're in this now and forever

You're different from me
But we don't have to agree

Let's pledge to let peace and kindness rise
Greed and deception will be our demise

So let's stand arm in arm
Protect each other from harm

We're in this now and forever
We stand tall together

War
What makes you
Want to start a war?
What fact of life
Absolutely shakes you to the core?
Is it maybe
The exploitation of the poor?
Or that you'll never again
Hear extinct beasts roar?

As i go through life
I am left with one question
What will it take
For our cancerous existence to see regression?
Will it be a massive reduction
In our population?
Or a global catastrophe
Causing planetary evacuation?
Maybe its time
For such a situation
A forced act of unity
Being the best choice for such an occasion

But in the end
What is it all for?
Many have died
For what we now consider folklore
Have we really surpassed
Those who came before?
Even though we hate natural plants
Enough to start a war?

The world is truly ******
And there's not much left to do
The only ones who will really suffer
Are those left after me and you
So maybe its time we band together
Make the world look spanking new
Give hope back to the young youth
And to those that already grew

A wing
Carved of wood
An inch in length
Painted black
With red and blue details
Swirls and dots

Bought at a beach
From a street vendor
Selling hand-carved trinkets
Bought by her parents
When they were together
Before their child knew of their disagreements
Before chaos entered

The last good thing
Embedded in that little trinket
That little wooden Pegasus

The girl decides
Then places it in a box
Upon a soft blue cloth
The box; black with fern patterns

"This,"
Decided the girl,
"Shall go to the best thing in my life."
So
She prepared the gift
For her love

Meeting with him
Talking, spending time,
Then him having to return home
Seeing the girl in a few days
Forgot the gift with the girl
The child promising to bring it with her to him

Leaving it where she would remember
The girl goes to carry out her day
Forgetting it
Until she looked out her window
Seeing the remains of the gift scattered
Shredded outside her window
In pieces in her backyard
Her dog standing over them
Wagging his tail

Shock and disbelieving
The girl runs out to the remains
Trembling as she picked up the pieces
Relieved at finding the gift itself intact
The only thing ruined being the box
Once so beautiful
Now ugly shreds

Returning indoors
The little wooden pegasus wing in hand
She wept, her tears falling to the floor
For the last good from her childhood
Was almost ripped away from her

This last good
She wished to give to her love
As a symbol of trust and unity
To show her affection
Yet
It was so close
So nearly stripped from her
Almost swallowed by the jaws of a mut

This is true...I have no more words than those you see above...

I dream of you
Each time I close my eyes.
The image burnt,
My retina street-wise.
I think of you
With every breath I take.
My mind enthralled,
My life, forlorn, at stake.
I miss you lots
With every passing day:
Then found, now lost...
I don't believe and yet I pray!
To life, to love, to dreams,
To friends who don't just disappear,
To hope, to joy, to you...
So far - and yet so near.
Bittersweet like a melody.
Written [almost] in one take.

When we are breathing,
we share in our breath.

People are self-seeking,
and unless we play with
pragmatics, we can’t help it.
Yet we are helpless in
how bounteous we are.

When we are breathing,
we share in our breath,
and when we die,
we share in our death.

when i hear the words 'on fire'
i picture strikers scoring goals,
with skill and prowess to admire -
not self-immolating blue-clad girls

the game can be so cruel...
are you as free as you think you are?
your views and wishes can lead to ruin,
yet your beliefs will get you far

our never-ending dream of a world of equality,
no borders - within or without
some might say you're of inferior quality
but have they a clue about

your struggles, your hardships, your toil?..
your designs they shan't ever foil
your eyes and your heart, shining bright,
will burn right through the day and the night

be the spark and light the fire!
a revolution of love -
something to remember and admire
be the last one to have a laugh
