Seas of Dust do swallow,
Nearly every living thing
And life and soul will leave you
As dusty currents begin to wring.

A snare disguised as paradise,
Facade of golden waves and pools.
Just beneath it's deceptive surface
This earthen sea abounds with ghouls.

Sail this sea with caution
And never stray the course.
For if you linger too long
You'll be unable to elude its' force.

This sea is parched and lifeless,
With its hot and choking sands.
No salvation found within its clutch
So you must heed its wicked demands.

Led to sea by sirens, or greed
Or a passage you foolishly trust.
You're now ensnared and declared
Property of the sea of Dust.
A complicated version of "the grass is always greener on the other side"

Open the doors and purge
The stream of bleary people
A flood, pressing for escape
The eternal escape
And fighting the belated urge
To run

Politics that that tricks the system
Then lick and rick the peasants
Ethical dilemmas of existence
That dilute us from creativity

Ohh I am looking for a finer
taste of tomorrow
Ohh can't wait to see tomorrow

Religious bodies that are linear
In hypocrisy and righteousness
they preach love for a better day
whilst they manipulate and scorn

Ohh I am looking for a finer
taste of tomorrow
Ohh can't wait to see tomorrow

Family units our sole safe base
where values, cultures and beliefs
choke as we morn for our identify
lost like sheep without a shepherd

Ohh I am looking for a finer
taste of tomorrow
Ohh can't wait to see tomorrow

Economic systems that collapse
donning gowns of debt to humanity
sinking in volcanos that explodes
wishing for the money to shower

Ohh I am looking for a finer
taste of tomorrow
Ohh can't wait to see tomorrow

Education that is compulsory
A promise of an non existence future
A fallacy of better jobs and status
all a social indoctrination of the mind

Ohh I am looking for a finer
taste of tomorrow
*Ohh can't wait to see tomorrow

I have heard future generations talking about changing the world for better
I’d like to write them a love letter for being this way
But if you’re a slave to the wage packet you will soon part of machines racket
Another slave to the way the world is was and will be
Nothing changes without pain.
I am telling you in changing the world you will suffer
The world will sell you happiness as an ideal
Married with a partner a job and two kids
The world will get in the way
Life is slavery we were made to serve
Soon all manner of distractions will form a net
and although you may have the weight of numbers
The content person slumbers
The only way to change the world is go against the grain
and endure pain after pain
Speak out, be the change you want to see
People will still diss you
You might have the words to cause an earthquake
But people still won’t follow you unless they see results
And saving the world is as hard as going through the eye of the needle.

Lassie, sweetheart, love
That's not my name
Calling loudly, feel like I'm dying
Embarrassed, school skirt flying

Pet, darlin', hottie
That's not my name
Followed up the street, feeling scared
Don't know how to get help, if I dared

*****, ****, ****
That's not my name
Cop a feel when you go by, want to be sick
I'd never see you again, if only I could pick

Girl, gorgeous, lovely
That's not my name
Mind blanks on procedure, sheer panic as you come
Pushed up to a wall, you grab my ***

Beautiful, star, babe
That's not my name
I cried when you came home with me
After dinner, you claimed your fee
Constantly feeling like I belong in a trap
Surrounded by drugs and rap
And people who don't give a crap
How did I turn out alright?
I'm honestly confused
I guess I'm very strong
My persistence seeps through
And it sticks like glue
Where before it came off
Oh have the times have changed
I could of been another drug addict but I won't be
I made the choice to survive and persist
The demons at bay can insist
But I'm Satan's cyst
With the flick of the wrist
I can create enough mist
To make the wind twist
And flourish the oxygen we breathe.

It was all over in a moment,
Everything you once hoped,
The second you saw the illusion
That the glistening mirage evoked.

Deep pools of green, chocolate, blue,
Each one a beautiful escape,
Each one designed as a cunning ruse,
The eyes meant to seal you in your fate.

Dew drops perfectly reflecting,
The geometric spiral awaits
Luring the innocent inside,
Then the guardian slams the gates.

The spider’s web and the eyes,
You go in when the trap is concealed.
Once the trap is sprung, the door is closed,
You gladly stay, the danger revealed.
An old poem from English class. It's basically a comparison between eyes and spiderwebs.
Trapped within a crowd,
Never in my life I felt
So isolated.
A haiku to describe what my existentialism did to me. To all who understand this feeling too well, may you find happiness like I did.

I step
And step
Right into
The trap...

skin tight shirt
no pants
and a pair of knee high socks.
lost in the folds
of this empty bed.
she is a lover
a fighter
and your worst friend.
she’ll drag you in
with the curves of her body
and soft smiles
that promise to give you everything.
then,
she’ll drain you
of your soul,
your energy.
she feeds
on the passion of
the young and reckless.

watch where you step
you don’t want to be caught
in her trap.
i’m only giving you a fair warning,
she knows where you hide
and she can ****** you in the blink of an eye.
oh darling,
don’t try to escape
I’ve already got you locked in
with these words of a carnal sacrifice.
