We
  Are star dust
You
   And I
Amidst
The bliss
Of this
Endless
Sky
Entities
Of energy
Striving
To survive
Truly
We are blessed
At best
To be alive
   We
Are star dust
   You
And I
Amidst
The bliss
Of this
Endless
Sky

I'm ever greatful
& Oh so thankful
That you
And I'd collide
Thank You ❤

Things have been pretty good lately,
when I met you.

I remember when I first met you.
You extended your hand acknowledging each one of us.
There wasn't any sparks at all.
The day after I met you,
when someone mentioned your name,
I couldn't help but smile.

What is this? Why am I smiling?

And so, we meet again.

You gave us a high five,
and I couldn't even look at you in the eyes.
Everytime you made your way towards us,
I looked around pretending that your presence doesn't bother me.

But it does.

You used to approach us back then,
but not anymore.

It hurts.

A simple "hi."
Is more than enough.
I hope you notice my existence.
I mean our existence.

That's why when our eyes met,
I smiled at you like an idiot.
After that, I looked away.

I'm going to stop this feeling once and for all.

But, I'm glad I met you.
For you are a Man of God.
You have influenced me to know more about My God without you knowing it.

I'm going to get over you sooner or later,
I just wish that I could tell you.
When that happens,
I'll be able to move on happily.
I hope you'll be able to read this.

Strong roots give you wings,
so you can learn to leave behind
what you’ll gladly come back to.

Love will raise you up,
so you can discover destiny
without fear of falling.

Nowhere is as everywhere,
and no-one is as everything
as this home and family of yours.

Fortunate enough
To have a family
That guides my decisions
And makes me voice out my opinions

Fortunate enough
To have friends
That see more than outer beauty
And kills my insecurity

Fortunate enough
To have a life
That's filled with every emotion
And motivation and inspiration

I don't thank you,
I never have,
I'm six thousand seven hundred and eight eight days old
and I've never once'd stop to say thank you,
I had a good day today, and I realized ( far too late)
that I often have good days,
days where the sun shines
days where the wind is fine
days where I can take my time,
and smile
yet I've never thanked you,

i exist because of some unknown force, or maybe science, or maybe god
but Ill never know, and so I've never stopped to say hello,
and today I finished  a terrifying assessment,
and today wasn't that bad
so I've stopped to thank you
I don't ask for anything in return,
all I ask is to help others learn
that each day I open my eyes, is a gift from someone who might never materialize, and though you might not hear me, and though you might not exist,
thank you strange force,
I'm so happy I exist
just thank the air around you every now and then, we are lucky to be where we are, no matter where we are, poor, rich, happy, sad,
the fact you even exist is amaizing, so even though their might be no one there,
whats the harm in thanking the air?

Thanksgiving Day,
The day of the giving of thanks.
Also known as a public holiday,
When everyone gets together.

Yet, it is unfair that,
Like everyone else,
Her eyes cannot meet his,
His arms cannot hold her,
They cannot dine in laughter,
Across 8,000 miles on such day.

Still, on this day,
She is thankful –
Thankful for who he is,
Thankful for who he is not,
Thankful for what they are,
Thankful for what they are not,
Thankful that they still ARE.

For now,
They cannot spend
Even a single hour of the day
In one another’s company.
But, she looks beyond
What cannot be shared today.

For one day,
They will leap across time
And all the miles in between
To land in each other’s arms
For many Thanksgivings to come.

Hasty groceries,
Annoying prepping,
Crowded kitchen,
Noisy children,
Frustrated guests,
Fattening bellies,
Drunken dance,
Disorderly house,
Sleepy mumbling –
WE will get to all of that.

I will rather we never met
Than meet and part.
I will rather am not writing you
Than write and you
Squeeze the ink
Out of my words.

I will write then,
Write words fit for the one I met,
Whose words I am wrought upon.

Long before the world beheld me
Our heartbeats synchronised.
You squeezed my heart, gently
To bring it peace
When the world had war
You looked deeply at it seams
As I  blossom,
Ran your fingers along
Felt your fingers around
Weeded,
And soothe frays.

I will write
To the one worth writing to,
Who remained when others left,
My mother.
Thankful for my mother

Thank you Father for your Son
Who started more than we could have begun,
Who finished more than we could have done.
Thank you Father for your Son.

Thank you Father for your Son
Who's by your side to intercede,
so that when we pray we'll be heard indeed.
Thank you Father for your Son.

Thank you Father for your Son
Who died up upon that tree,
so that you could forgive a wretch like me.
Thank you Father for your Son.

Thank you Father for your Son
Who was by a ****** woman born,
so that we could sing new songs some morn.
Thank you Father for your Son.

Thank you Father for your Son
Who is God--one and three,
Who walks atop the storm-churned sea.
Thank you Father for your Son.

Thank you Father for your Son
Who's mercy and grace reaches all,
that we may be redeemed from our fall.
Thank you Father for your Son.

Thank you Father for your Son
Who started more than we could have begun,
Who finished more than we could have done.
Thank you Father for your Son.

I am thankful
For even the smallest snippets of time
Spent laughing with you
Because they are mine forever
No matter how few or far between
