You're not lost, just because you didn't  trust today
I see you here, yet your thoughts are drifting away ...
You rake the leaves, with your bare hands,
You try to see, where your future stands.

You're not lost,  just because you need a break,
I see you smile, while trying to hide your heartache
You collect the dirt, under your fingernails,
As you walk barefoot and cover your trails.

I still see you, underneath the falling leaves,
I hear your voice say "thank you"  and "please"
I see your true smile, glowing in your eyes,
You're the only reason, my soul survives.
This is a repost of a dear poem of mine, it has a message that comes from the bottom of my heart, for the ones who feel lost from time to time. Also, this poem is the first one to feature in my first book of poetry, that you can find it on Amazon

The most depressed people ,
Hide it the best !
I kid you not .
They'll talk about their darkness in the most humorous way possible .
Everyone has different stories yet people make comparison with one another .
All pain is individually valid !
Those who say share your pain are the ones who turns their backs .
Fighting every second just to feel something ,
and another moment never want to feel anything ever again !
Depressed people fake smiles , because they don't want to be burden .
They take responsibility to take care of others even though they feel unimaginable pain .
The most empath people are the most left out people.
Sometime they just need someone to tell them how proud they feel for being strong all the time .
Depression doesn't look the same to everyone .
Some wear it like trash , some wear it like grace .
The sad thing about depressed people is that often their desire to heal others is a disguised cry for help for their own healing .
They fail to understand 3 am in the morning is not a time to sort out life .
There is no going back from depression , it makes people something completely different from what they were before .
Depression deaden you brain to the things it used to know how to do .
Those people aren't good at asking for help , because they're so used to being the helper .
This poem is about those dired souls around us .

I'm trying not to break, anymore.
I have gone through, for what I call the "worst"
But it isn't the end I am sure.
There's a lot to come
that storm of pain is still waiting for me to fall
That feeling of vulnerability is still
tucking me in into those sleepless nights.
But now I have got to be strong
Strong enough to go past that storm.
I have to keep on living, for what they say, "breathing".
Cause I never know
what life would have to offer tomorrow
or the day after that.
That's what keeps us alive : a speck of hope,
shrouding our fears, day and night!
"I'm broken. I know that. It's a long, hard process but little by little you start -picking up the pieces. And you realise what you're making is a mirror. And the more pieces you put together the more you see yourself."

I see your broken smiles during happy times,
What's wrong, my love?

Two misty pools, full of tears, shining bright during celebrations,
Are you alright, my dear?

I hear screams of pain during your carefree laughs,
What's the matter, my beauty?

Talk to me honey, before it gets too late,
Am I doing something wrong?

There you go again, despair reflecting in each inch of your face,
Talk to me please, look I have started to earnestly cry now.
Oh no darling,  don't you dare close your eyes!
Oh no darling,  don't you dare close your eyes.
Don't you dare.....  Close your eyes.
The people who are suffering,  please talk to someone..  You're wanted, you're loved..  Don't keep it all locked in. Losing you would be devastating for your loved ones..  Talk, love.  Share your feelings.

It's easier to walk in between the doors of hell
Resilient and motivating
heaven is repulsive
Ditch the two dead birds
bald dead deer still bleeding
and angry white wolves
Subliminally content with the context
your out of context is much more subjective
keep walking

Surviving lockdown
March was the start
Closing down cities
Families living apart

Surviving lockdown
That’s what I’m doing
Surviving shopping
Queuing and queuing

Surviving lockdown
Out of bed at six or seven
Days are all the same
Not what I’d call livin’

Surviving lockdown
Trying to remember the date
Is it Saturday or Sunday?
Feeling like a prison inmate

Surviving lockdown
Finding something to do
Baking bread or anything
Just to get through

Surviving lockdown
Till they find a cure
Surviving lockdown
I’ll need to endure

Surviving lockdown
Now it’s July
Feeling so lucky
When so many die

Surviving lockdown
It’ll end one day
And all back to normal
Well, that’s what they say.
Surviving lockdown Is self explanatory

of my pain
i can only tell
on its passing

when it is
a boiling stillness
its the safest way
