i tried to grab you and found you huge
tried to hop and found you broke
tried to hug and found you died
how do i say?
how do i say again that
Even if all the way long back to start
i would still choose you
even when i know we would die
you were dead
and we never work
When it's lost

A hiss of the moon tucking
into just a pair of lock
let alone in pavilion-tresses
on the back of one's eternal silence.
Giving autumn shadows
to seven skies' azure.
What now the stars are gone
followed in their countless galore!

Eyes of the buds ope
dreaming nightingale
hops up to the morning rose
singing in what a balmy fold.

i watched the brightest star in the sky through my melancholy filled eyes
i think i saw your silhouette dancing in the brisk winter air
my pupils became satellites
and if i wasn’t so petrified i woulda cried
but it isn’t on me
and i cry in secrecy

i think i saw you pirouette by the dwindling shine of the star
but that’s just a thought of mine
i thought i’d bring to mind
Ur my escape

Deep in the void, where light is scarce,
devoid of life and sound
The remnants of a fallen star
fall to an endless ground.

Until they slowly form anew
by force of Newton's formula
Fantastic clouds of gas and dust
in green and red and pink and blue,
known to us as nebula.

Before our eyes, they grow in size,
take shape, and with elation
we're witnessing a cosmic birth –
The Pillars of Creation.

They tower over the abyss,
a glowing trinity
Amidst the universal mist
of darkness and infinity.

Until they finally collapse
and under heat and pressure form
A self-sustaining plasma core
and thus, anew, a star is born.
This poem is inspired by "The Pillars of Creation" (1995), a photograph taken by the Hubble Space Telescope depicting interstellar clouds and dust within the Serpens constellation of the Eagle Nebula.

like my guitar
and your eyes
and the way you looked that night
and the stars in June
in the big Vermont sky
and the way my heart
always shined around yours.

And the stars started to giggle
as I told them more
about you.
They seemed happy to hear
how happy you make me.
While the moon listened
as I smiled thinking of you.
When you see
something truly
beautiful, time
becomes
one infinite
moment,
infracted
Is a million
particles
of light
within
your
eyes,
In the
beauty
of silence,
you feel and
hear everything
come alive, when
you see the smallest
details come alive as
delicate, blooming
flowers opening for
the awakened
heart opening
itself for the once
unseen, tonight, a
little miracle happened,
I looked up and i asked
within my mind, "oh night,
why is it i cannot see a light
in your dark sea?" then,
suddenly a star appeared
before my eyes, the
soul...
the soul within
the windows open, so the
light could shine through.

Kohl black night
forehead is so full.
Countless myriad
stars eye on every angle.
Who knows how many more
look for one more black nook?

My earth was waiting for your stormy footsteps.
They say,
It's not a crime to love what you can't explain.
So you'll be my secret forever
just like the sea's oath to the inquisitive siren.
I promise to hide you in
the crimson of my eyes,
in the blues of my veins.
