The
stars
are
aligned
in
the
presence
of
beauty
where
lovers
become
soulmates
I wish I believed in soul mates,
But that would require me to have a soul,

It’s not that I am cold or cruel,
It’s just if I believed souls were real;
Then i would also have to believe
In reincarnation,

And I’ll be ******
If I have to spend
Another
Lifetime
With
You.

If you left,
the sun would still shine,
but I would rather have you
and the rain any day.

I'll always be your woman,
you'll always be my man;
Someone whom I can lean on,
someone who understands.
~
Through the good times and the bad,
you're always there for me;
You're everything I've wanted,
you're everything I need.
~
When I look into your eyes,
I see our future there;
It lies within your heart,
I see it in your stare.
~
I feel the same as you,
you've captivated me;
And when you kiss me softly,
t'is all I'll ever need.
~
We're meant to be together,
Soulmates we both are;
For you touch that special place,
hidden deeply in my heart.

She
Sometimes I write
about women who
might not even exist.
“She” is a figment of my imagination
and “she” is perfect in all the ways
that I can’t comprehend,
but I sure as hell try
to write it down.
I sure hope that one day
I will meet her.

thank you for sharing your heart with me.
i knew the minute from when we met that we'd be forever.
forever,
as time goes by i convinced myself that it didn't exist until i met you.
i know a lot of people see our relationship as too much but it doesn't matter.
i'll forever love you.
you have the key to my heart.
i thought i'd be sad my entire life.
but having you here,
with me,
reminds me that there's still good out there,
the good will always outweigh the bad.
i'm forever grateful that we crossed paths.
i can't imagine a world without you.
you're my soulmate,
you're my forever.
thank you.

i'll still love you even when the sky begins to fall.
looking at you,
i began to understand how everyone felt when jesus came back.
a sign of relief,
a sign of "hey, it's all going to be okay".

I am not one of those
To wax lyrical,
And proclaim loudly that
“I HAVE NEVER LOVED BEFORE!”
I have,
Of course.
I thought that I knew
The crushing ache
Of love,
Seeping through my bones.
Oh, but I was wrong.
He is not the first
To creep under my skin
And make my chest a home.

But he is the first
I have not resented for it.

He is the first
To make me feel awake.
To play music on my ribs
That vibrates long after he's gone,
Setting me quivering,
Gasping,
Overwhelmed and unsure.

But full of colour;
I was grey for so long.

Half asleep and mostly numb,
Adrift on a lonely sea,
He dashed my boat
Upon a rock,
And forced me out to swim.
To make my own way into life,
Instead of passively waiting
For it to begin.

He waited on the shore for me,
Dazzling in the sun,
A vibrant ray of feeling,
A shard of light that pierced my skin.
And I realised that love
Is just your heart breaking,
Sweetly,
Over and over again.
Stitched into a patchwork,
Of everything you are,
Woven through
With threads of them,

So it's not just yours anymore.
I swear my heart breaks everytime that I look at him, then he kisses it better again.

Sundays are meant for writing
about our soulmates.
So endow my affection that is gifted
with great patience and tender
loving kisses.

For our love tastes like a ripened pomegranate,
for our fruity fingertips.

Blessed by a sea apart,
all I could see and breathe is you.

It’s me again
Have you remembered my name

That you called out
To every star in the sky

Hoping that one would answer
Alas none ever did

You died waiting
So I brought you back to life

For as long as I exist
You shall too
