As consistent as a snowflake,
Counting up from one to infinity.
Free falling through this endless shape,
Contained within a finite space.

ground down smooth and small
I fit nicely among man,
but cut if broken

small letters for your naive soul
because no matter how big and meaningful words could be
words can't seem to fit in your small uncaring heart

I am a Rose
I might be small
Might look fragile
But I have some thorns
Definitely not afraid to hurt you back
But I am always fighting
Might not look strong
I am beautiful
I am a Rose
I
Am
A
Rose
You are just as beautiful and strong as a Rose

I feel like a star
so small from afar
yearning for someone to come closer
and see that I'm more
than just another speck in the sky
come closer please

This is not the kind of love I’d profess
on a hotel napkin
scream from the rooftops
of your parents’ house
10 dollars to stretch a month
of rendezvous
yes we live in a small town
but our minds fit here comfortably
however slightly,
I love you.

Hello Prolly Jul 2019
the world so big
overwhelmed of it
wanting to grasp a lot
be tangible part of it
makes me so petit
unable to change a bit

watching those
not only wanting or doing
but those
who have done
who have built
who have lived

seeing this all
you were born
to the wrong place
given no space
giving up the chance
to blossom in your way

I see you big
and followed
I see you walking steadily
people calling to you by name
**** if loved or hated
I see you black in colors

comes the time to change it?
I wish you cloud
I wish I could make you would
and would you make me could?
please grow for me
for you
Brown hair, some highlights.
Pale skin, slightly tanned, many imperfections
Blue eyes.

Black glasses.

Pink, thick lips
Usually smiling
But sometimes frowning

Short
Not even 5'0
Slightly curvy

Tank top
Black
Scull leggings

Small feet
4s in woman's
Or 4.5

I can't remember.

Boots.
Grey or brown
But it's usually boots.

Is this me?
All I will ever be?
No.

But you get it.

When did numbers lose meaning?
When fifty-thousand started feeling small and
two million start feeling just right-
when one million is just the start and
infinity is the cusp of the end
the rim of a glass
too deep to drink yourself out of.

When did 10 feel small?
When we’re told at age 9 that
there’s numbers far greater than just “ten”
one-hundred, one-thousand, one hundred thousand,
the list goes on and on
so maybe that’s why 10 feels
wrong.

When did numbers lose meaning?
Perhaps it was the moment
when we grow past single digits
learn of the world and its numbers;
crunched under the weight of
a billion numbered souls.
Has anyone else felt like the older you get, the smaller otherwise big numbers feel?
