You act as if you hadn't a clue
You act as if I hadn't talked to you
You act as if I hadn't tried till in the face I was blue

I did, I tried
I did, but you only sighed
I did,rivers of tears I cried

Why are you such a *******
Why is your agony dispread
Why did you not listen and ended up mislead

I beckoned you to come near
I beckoned you so I could make it clear
I beckoned you but you only looked at me with that sneer

So I let you do it your own way
So I let you become the prey
So I let you crumble in just mere days

Now i'll just set and watch
Now I'll just set while all of it you botch
Now I'll just set as you make another notch

If only you had not just listened but heard
If only you hadn't let things get so blurred
If only you hadn't acted so absurd

I sat and I watched you expire
I sat and I watched as your situation got dire
I sat and I watched as you set yourself on fire

The months pass by
Like calendar pages flipping;
But as they move,
Some of them are ripping.

My heart grows more resilient
As the years fly;
But the grief isn't fading,
Just becoming a little shy.

The world that you provided
Was blissfully superior to this;
That world and you
I wholeheartedly miss.

how funny is
dreaming the things
vividly
when in reality
you'll get slapped by
continuous progression of life
   sadness and happiness

pain is inevitable
a bad situation is imminent
just learn on how
the dark can be a light
again

My life is not Comparable but Relatable in some situations.
I have been making quote since I start WC/HP and since I learned how to write my own thoughts with conviction and be aware of my experience to be relatable to others. And remember in my quote, I don’t always fallow it, I can be stubborn at times but it is always be a reminder for me and be able to stand to what I believed in.

This quote sprang to mind when I arrived at the camp thinking at the insecurities & envy life has shown me or us… and felt as well. This quote is quite universal in thought but I want to share mine when this quote sprang to mind…  

1. We are equally unique in one way or another. But in some cases life repeats some reasonable karmas of the past making some situations relatable. Or some situations match the other but that doesn’t mean for us to follow the same path as the other.. We have our own choice, our own will to do what we wanted to do.

2. In life we always compare things and situation… and it never gets old… then that’s the time envy comes and let you feel the insecurities stick to your skin like glue.  My guess is that, this two negative nature will always be a part of us... It only matters on how we know which is too much or how you weight it to do good and away from harming others.

3. “Be thankful of what you have”, it goes beyond, it also keeps you grounded and be appreciative of the things you already had/have. When you do, you’ll see it is not worth comparing your life to others, you’ll see the importance of one’s owned.

4. (Comparable) and (Relatable) are two different sets of thoughts and feelings, atleast for me it is…  When you start to Compare, you’ll see it as a race for who’s better and who’s not. While when you Relate, you’ll just see it better to just contemplate and learn something, you become sensitive to once was and able to avoid a repeat process. I guess it really depends on how you used these words. The world is full of misunderstanding, we need to be considerate & listen more in many aspects our daily human interactions and emotions.

Last thoughts: “You can relate with my Life, but never compare mine from yours. We in Live two different lifetimes.”
You were a masterpiece beyond comprehension
But it was about staying with retention
And the going was vastly overwhelming
The situation was too unrealistic to keep pursuing
Some ends were never meant to be tied
I'm sorry if i lied
I hold myself accountable for the crimes i commit
A train a little over the transit
Has the right mindset, wrong pace and approach.
Label; without my appearance I wouldn’t have one,
Without it I won’t be judged before hand,
This is something everyone has for everything,
Relationships, people and situations as well.

Can you imagine how different things would be?
When everything is anonymous and still unique,
Looked at without misconceptions and preconceptions,
When everything is as it is, without knowing the word
That makes you react to it but makes you deal with it.

When you shed this superficial skin full of labels,
You can see clearly the depth which was illusion before,
You can live and breathe freely when it disappears,
But can you leave something that you’re so conditioned to?
The bus pulled up and I got on

It was empty, 'cept for two

A lady sitting at the front

And a man all dressed in blue

The lady sat in front alone

Her parcels by her side

The man, he stood alone in back

And I got on for my ride.

The sign in front said "Do Not Smoke"

Capacity...that's blurry

I couldn't see it from where I sat

But, I was in no hurry

I walked on up, to check it out

And read the aged old sign

It said "seating room is 63"

And standing ...twenty nine

I reached my stop and I got off

Not thinking much I guess.

But that man was still way in the back

And that lady in her dress

Was motionless up in the front,

Her parcel by her side

They hadn't moved since I got on

And it was an hour ride

Others joined us on the bus

But all were gone before

There was just these two,  still motionless

When I walked out the door.

Each day for weeks I rode this bus

And each day,  like before

The lady sat down front alone

And the man, behind the door

It never made much sense to me

He never changed his spot

It was if he were a sentinel

To guard this bus...his lot

One day I asked the driver

Why he never did sit down

He said "You must be new here"

"You can't be from this town"

I said "Why did that matter?"

He just laughed and looked at me

"It's never gonna change here"

"There's a certain courtesy"

I didn't understand him

And he never put forth more

So, I went on down the bus aways

And I sat  just by the door

I passed my stop and rode a while

While others filtered through

Then all at once the lady rose

Followed by the man in blue

She left out front, him through the back

And it left me there alone

Well, except for the old driver

So, I rode around to home

I saw as we drove past them

On our return route down the Strand

The lady and The Man in Blue

Were walking, holding hands

I thought "What gives?, they sit apart"

She forward, him in back

Now here they are together

They're a train on the same track

I asked the driver to explain

This sight that I had seen

He said "Just wait a minute"

"And it won't seem so extreme"

He stopped the bus and came to me

And he walked past the back door

"See that faded line there miss"

As he pointed to the floor

I looked real close and there it was

It was a line in pastel blue

"Now, listen here's some history"

"This is something new to you"

"Way back when, a lifetime back"

"Segregation ruled the land"

"You didn't mix outside your race"

"You would never understand"

"The line there on the floor shows"

"Where the buses made their mark"

"The white folks stood on the drivers side"

"And the back was for the dark"

"skinned folks who rode with us"

"I know it don't sound fair"

"But that's the wasy it was back then"

"I know, 'cause I was there"

"This couple...they confuse you"

"Her in front and him in back"

"Did you ever stop and notice"

"She is white and he is black?"

"But, that's not the way things are today"

I said, still unsure of these two

He said "I know, my dear"

"But this way's all they knew"

"They've been a pair for twenty years"

"They've rode this bus for more"

"When he first rode, it was so bad"

"He came through the back door"

"He couldn't get on through the front"

"They wouldn't let him pass"

"In fact once some one threatened"

"him, they would soak him down with gas"

"So he went on back, through the back door"

"And then he crossed that line"

"And he's been doing so for sixty years"

"He's done it all this time"

"I never charge them to get on"

"I charge them when they leave"

I said "I don't see them pay"

He smiled and scratched his sleeve

"I never charge them money"

"No, that just would not be right"

"I tell them to just get safe home"

"And  to have a lovely night"

"The next day when they board the bus"

"She smiles and looks at me"

"And as I look down to the back"

"I smile...and so does he"

"I know that it is different"

"But down here, it was the way"

"And this white girl and this black man"

"helped to show me shades of grey"

"He'll always ride in back there"

"And she'll be in front with me"

"But, you know that they're so happy"

"And that's why they ride for free"

Altogether on the boat.
The waves stood tall.
Not enough space on the boat to hold them all.

25 migrants promised new lives.
They left behind their children.
They left behind their wives.

The dream of prosperity.
The men set sail.
Turned into a nightmare did this sad and sorry tale.

5 died of hunger, 6 of dehydration.
A woeful situation.
No plan B or mitigation.

The men laid to rest at the bottom of the sea.
These were normal people like you and like me.

Looking for a better life.
It's all so terribly sad.
A wife missing her husband.
A child missing his dad.

The only ones to gain are the ones who sold the dream.
The ones who take blood money are never what they seem.

They take the hard earned cash from men who Want a better way of life. They care little for their children and care nothing for their wives.
RIP to all those brave African migrants who tried in vain to look for a better life and desperately tried to get to that place where an opportunity equals a lifeline for their family.

Our borders are shrinking. What does it take for a man to leave his family in search of a better life? I cannot imagine! The statistics are staggering and many lost lives go unreported.

Poignant given the terrible and shocking pictures shown worldwide of a little boy who had drowned and washed up on a Turkish beach. So so sad.
