I won't think about the way we move at night
just recognize and understand its only to disguise
simple things we can't seem to grasp
like to how to love
how to not fight
how to forget the past

We can touch, we can play
We don't have to leave the house all day
Somethings will never change
Repeating myself, as my heart still breaks.

I told you this was never what I wanted
and you told me love's not for the weak hearted

We just abuse this idea labeled "love"
and empty concept taken over by a rush of emotion
our chemical reactions toxic
I had a mind but i just lost it
Beginning of a song.

Painted glass windows, sequined tapestries
Rainbow coloured dreams drowned, in
Monochrome miseries.

The women wait and weep, a phalanx overcome by grief
Squinting through their candle-light visions,
Understood by misunderstood legions.

Fastigium Ataxia,
She cries in pain,
Rotating consciousness through the colourless rain.

A patina of grief wailed above the room as
The woman let out her final cry,
A martyr in their eyes.

Skinship visible through lonely cracks in subfusc walls
The infamous neighborhood remained vacant that night
The family lost a member that night.

A paegn concerto,
(Someone lost a shoe)
The women hung their heads in grief
(Somewhere bloomed a new leaf).

Balled and rolled
But never been told
What was once tied
Will set loose and die

Once there was a man in peru
Who dreamt he ate his shoe
Then woke at night
With such a fright
And found out it was true

it is an honor
to love
and be loved
by you (only you)

i wanted a hippie van
and you wanted to make me happy
so you took off your Vans and grabbed a marker

we wrote "don't worry, be hippie" on the fabric until our fingers cramped

A rhyme or two
makes happy the man
who lives in a shoe.

It was just a normal day that we happened to be together. Your hand in mine; us side by side and then you broke away. You broke away to stare at something from far away so it wouldn't be self conscious of you peering into its soul. You stood there looking so intently at something I couldn't
see. I couldn't see what you perceived for I couldn't believe that there was something you saw that I couldn't conceive. So I stopped...I smiled and I took a picture. I took this picture of you staring in the distance with this half acquired smile... a moment in time that I would be sure to keep with me forever. The moment penetrated my soul ever so deeply that I decided to keep the picture somewhere it could affect even the ground I walk on. I keep the picture in my sole.... In the sole of my shoe so no matter where I go I'm walking with you.

Hate is a red pair of Jordan's

Jealous of what they can't have
Swollen with anger
Hate derives from jealousy
Alway wanting more
To fit in with the ballers
The 7 foot giants that they'll never be

To be cooler than an ice
To hit the game winner
Crowd roaring
Adrenaline pumping and coursing
Through aching veins

To have swag
To be like MJ
To be D1 bound
To make it to the league
To get buckets
The string music
Composed by the ball swishing though the net

But it just isn't as simple
As a shiny new pair of shoes
New shoe smell
Fresh out of the box
That cause all this violence
Hatred and ruthlessness
Blood dripping on the cold dark streets

A society where
Shoe game is more important than personality
