The excursion of a mother commences when she EMBRACES the child as a boon,
A life long relevance emanated from your WOMB..
To enter into this wicked world i took a gap ,
To comprehend the despicable i stayed in your lap....

I ****** her blood, changed her appetite
I was no more than a PARASITE
She supplied me TONES of calcium
All my skeleton , all my FLESH she owns
She ENDURED those mood swings ,
Nausea, vomiting that i brought
He was expecting his heredity, his PRIDE
She was HAPPY that i exist,
She loved me from very start
I stole her breathe , but she embraced my heart......

From 1st trimester, because of her my heart is BEATING
If i didn't love her back that would be a CHEATING

A sense of TRUST that can't be broken ,
A depth of love sometimes UNSPOKEN....
You SACRIFICED yourself to evolve me like our heart as ONE ,,,,
A link that can never be UNDONE...
Every time you realise how intelligent you are ,think about your mother. How brilliant is she, and imagine how much more she could done if she got that chance !
Somewhere we are also responsible for her stalled career ...
but we hesitate to even express our gratitude to her.....

Sing us a carol
Just this once
Bring us an unfailing hope
From the top of your voice
What we gain from your pain
Is beyond sacrifice
It is love supreme
Marked by our never having
To die at all

I'm split in two...
Entangled in my mind...
As Two forces Collide,
A predicament that should be so very simple
Yet far from simple is it

I know what I should do and
I know what I desire to do...
The Two... vastly different

Therefore I do not Know... What I shall do...
Out of fear? Not for myself but for you

For Dangerous things I've done
But in comparison this is beyond those
Because... it won't be me alone exposed

It's a bad idea
I can see it ending with heartache and tears

This might **** me but I know it's time to turn back the dial
I don't want to break your smile

I'm willing to sacrifice mine
And that.... That is fine...
The last of 6 agonizing stages

I love reading.  My favorites are fantasy novels.

When I was in middle school and first starting to grasp the idea that one could read for fun --gross right?-- I read an awesome series called The Dragonriders of Pern, by Anne McCaffrey.

Man, what an amazing series for a young reader (soon to be aspiring writer, thank you Anne McCaffrey) to cut their teeth on.
It is intelligently and imaginatively written, adventurous, suspenseful, emotional, and like duh, it's got people riding dragons!

Well anyway, in the very first book one of the main characters is being attacked by an extremely large beast called a watch weyr, a genetic cousin of dragons bred for guarding castles.

At the very last instant, as the beast is pouncing upon our hero, the watch weyr realizes its intended target is actually one of the very people it was bred to protect.

In a desperate attempt to fling itself aside and spare the life of our hero, the watch weyr snaps its own spine, killing itself.

Now, this is no dog, it's a descendant of dragons, intelligent, sentient, and centuries-old.  That killed itself to avoid hurting someone it didn't even know.  Without a second thought.

Sometimes, not always or even most of the time, mind you, but sometimes...

I wish I had never read that book.

She bleeds through the
ends of her fingers, as she cries--
   she dies inside
   as she relives the horrors

   and re-suffers the blows;
   down on to the paper
   it all goes

her shattered-heart knows,
and her tear-stained face shows
that this is how she will reach
those, all alone;

so, with trauma-scarred hands-
and blood-stained-red bones, creates
the much needed seed to be sown

and down on to the paper
   it all goes

she is bleeding out, all alone
but her face  has a glow

Some battles are so intense
That we lose in love, they say
But we often refuse to accept
That truly loving is this way.

In love, we count our losses
that our bare backs dare to hold
and find each one heavier than the last
as though we lose tenfold.

And yet the sacrifices made inevitable
are ones often unreciprocated
And make us question our innocent selves
of why we even made it.

But love is love, as they often say
And we lose ourselves when it is true,
But how much is lost is merely dictated
by the choices made by you.
