She caught a glimpse of him,
her senses paused
Her heart starting beating so loud,
it muted the world.
Those visions, recollections, dreams, flashes and sudden insights both overwhelm and confuse me.
All we ever do is exchange glances,
like only we can see each other in crowds and masses.
Like the sun, the moon and the stars, you and I are lost in the bizarre. (Inspired by a dream I had)

i wonder if any of the same hair when we first got together is still on my head
it's a weird thought
maybe the very last centimeters
hair cuts
hair dye
remember when my ex cut my hair?
remember both times i cut my hair to my shoulders or above?
i wonder where the hair is that you first touched
several hair brushes
scattered on pillows and old sheets
washing machines
wherever i go my hair will leave
damage
breakage
fall out from stress
somewhere, right now is the old me
or breaking down in the soil

now i am so artificial
This is about how much I used to worry about my hair, and some days I have peculiar thoughts about what happened to the hairs that have fallen out and where they could be. Somewhere there are multicolored- brightly painted pieces of hair
or they have slowly decomposed
I used to dye my hair a lot and ocasionally I still do- but not like I used to.
The last line references how now I feel so fake.. I have changed so much. I used to be a care free person, I didn't care what people think. My hair has been almost every color possible. Nowadays I am always switching between blonde and brown, although it isn't me deep down, it puts me in the norm. I have been  following the crowd and this poem talks about how I have come to realization about it through something so simple: hair.
In my mind that has also been something that means a lot to me and it would speak my personality through it's self. I'm always changing. I'm not who I was. I am fake as can be.

If I could tip toe on the edges of the universe.
I'd do it ostentatiously with a top hat and orange shoes.

If I could slide down a rainbow I'd do so in a dicky bow.
If I could walk on water, I'd play the banjo

If I could travel though time I'd drop you line 'I wish you were here'
I'd arrange a 5th dimensional candle lit dinner

If we could stay together forever and ever, I'd throw in another century just for good measure.

The world was big.
Big enough to swallow her whole.

She kept telling herself
To always be aware,
So she don't become
a gone elf.

Careful..
She used to roam on her tippy-toes.
Too careful,
So she don't break the thin ice.

Afraid to fall, she was.

One day,
A guy stepped into her world,
Holding a lantern in his hand,
And a smile on his face.

He said
It's okay to fall,
I'll catch you.

How, then, she wondered.

He showed something to her,
Something peculiar,
Something strange;
Something so alien to her -

A grin.
A warm grin.

I'll be your polar bear.
I'll stay under the ice, if that means saving you.

Now the world is still big.
But not too big as then,
Because they both know
what they have is bigger.

He made her smile
and made her laugh, too.

One day, she said,
*Dude, I like you.
**THE END.**

And no, it's not about two "elves"

*it's about two penguins*

lol nope ..I mean, I don't even know anymore - probably it's about two people?

Although a lantern-holding penguin might be cool yah?

okay I'll stop .

She's a beauty
I am her breakdowns.
She smiles,
I turn it upside down.
I am a force that can't be taken down.
Yes,I lied.She cries
Broken necklaces and rusted rings.
I tell her we'll be all right.
Broken, yet she sings.
She's a beauty.
I am her breakdowns.
When the world's screams,
I will drown the sounds.

How strange it is to think of how every single person has experienced this day in a multitude of ways;
that not one person has felt exactly the same as anyone else or had an exact experience today, will continue to amaze.
A few, young and old, are taking their last breaths as God takes them away from earth.
Some are bringing into the world more beautiful souls as they spend their day giving birth.
Several have just experienced their very first kiss and are high on love as they dance around their room,
while more are lying in bed, crying silently as their hearts have been broken by the person they thought would one day become their bride or groom.
A number have had the most optimal day of their lives; they’re in a good place and couldn’t be more content,
whereas others have spent their distressing day writing out their suicide notes wondering how best to say goodbye without causing too much torment.
Yes, how strange it is to think of how every single person has experienced this day in a multitude of ways; that not one person has felt exactly the same as anyone else or had an exact experience today, will continue to amaze.

Nostalgia hijacks unnecessarily
bleeding into a bloodless heart
where I feel peculiar
outside of my puppet body
the force dragging me to the next location
the next goal
the next unfulfilled dream.
I do not feel alive. I do not feel like I am breathing.
My stomach rises, but my hopes crash.
Every lock crunches together when I run into a bad thing
I shut myself off to protect myself
from an inevitable feeling that will not matter
once I'm beyond the earth
once I'm packed in a grave
and shipped off to the next meaningless life.

I wonder about the most peculiar things
Impossibilities and ludicrousness
Like, what if hell was good and heaven was bad?
And how the world would be so ugly
If no one was just a little bit mad.

I fall in love with peculiar people –
In books and in movies, but in real life too
Like the mad character, Bellatrix Lestrange
I find it beautiful how she is
So completely deranged.

But nobody sees me as peculiar
It makes me wonder how much we hide.
Hence, the way others think of you is not who you are
There is so much they don’t know
They’re only judging from afar.
