"You said you would be here
through the thick and thin"
My body has been through it
And baby, my patience has been
strung out thin.

Addicts only know themselves best
They can't see you
Only past you
Into a projection of themself.

Back seat passenger
Guiding my relationship habits
The chords
That I play the best.

My go-to comfort
The only way I know to love best
Is a struggling person
In the woes of addiction.

One part - my mother's enabling
Another piece - my father's vice
Final product - my veins collected
as proof in a messy affair.

Doomed to repeat;
try holding things together
while they slip between my fingers.
Hoping for different results.

Every. Single. Time.
Self reflecting poem of my habits, and what it feels like to be the "fixer" of everything around you. Never ends, I hope someone can take care of me for a change.

a ray of light in my eye and
the living Word on my lap
a cup of milk in his hands
and the look of a loving mother
gazing upon the essence of her son.
He will
Come any time.
May be in the midnight
Or in the early morning time
Not known
Be prepared to welcome the Lord.
And enter his kingdom.
With patience, wait
For him
Luke 12:40
...gentle breezes
tickled
the goosepimples
of breathy lovers,
caressing
their love-slick bodies

oil
of romance
dripped,
sizzling
'pon the ground
of their windswept haven

their sighs
matched the melodies
the hollow sighs
of our earth's lungs

for they
the lovers budding life
were the energy
sustaining
love...
Something to rouse the auspiciousness, the hopeful serenity, the gay serendipity of love found, and love whose losses are never feared, but embraced, and given breath to become the clearing for love planted anew, watered fresh, and grown again with purpose, praise, and peace...

As always, enjoy!

What do you do when
You already know the answer
But the time of the question
Has not come?

Wait.
Sit.
Be,
Still.

Let obedience be a key,
A vessel and that
Yes, shall be an open door
Into a new season.

Waking
Dragging
Wanting
Hoping.

So much more to life.

Seeing the trouble
Not knowing what to do…

Waiting
Dragging
Hoping
Wanting.

i've longed for you for so long
but you went on with someone you hated
but i will wait
and wait
and wait
and wait
and wait
and wait
like a dog waiting for you to come home

i will wait

I stare with an endless hope — an aching
in the deepest part of me, envisioning
the beauty that my eyes will behold
as I wait; I hold onto that hope,
knowing that one day;
I will gaze into what my heart
has patiently desired to see.

Prowess, judgment, and bravery
Solitude is a walking hope
Tours of energy, have the world savory
Delighted with peace, a rallying cry of cope?

Delivering the news
Of austerity, the tout of power
Has the future, a fusion of a worlds good
Separate me from a stir of vicinity, baring is how?

Hello since a raging storm, has the voice
A waiting hour, to search forces for voids
Of caring for a wish of simplicity, a unifying choice
To place the service of ourselves, into the light of sorts?

Gifts of love?
Seldom to venture forth, with the arms of fated curiosity
Charisma in a whole ley, of works we dote are us
But a risk of beauty to a chaste, is it virtuosity?

The cloth of voiced persuasion
Halt and eschew the truth, a weary solemnity
Just for peace's argument, is tomorrow a savior's intuition?
Just because willingness has a soul, do we know a nativity?

For the silence of creation, a secret of simplicity
Worthing itself, as a shared host, of what was might
Many and decision, any and intimation, of divine sincerity
Has the moment and the need, of a universal right...

Children grew, with the passion of inclusion...
A habit of vice, to vindicate a victory
That has the voice of dependency, a filial cause to win
The marvel of understanding what will, a patience in history
Total a swallowed pride with the milk of human kindness, and you still get peace's answer

Consider the garden of your life
carefully
and remember I am a wild rose
I can be cut back
but I will outlast walls
