Hoovering gatherings,
mind miles away,
I have the longing,
weakening curse.

It’s in my veins, makes my blood flow.

Pleasantries, nods,
Laughter becomes background noise.
Such a waste of present.
And still I can’t stop:

What if it was better before?

Self sabotaging makes a home
in my bones

Why I keep ruining it all?

Why am I trapped in this loop?

What is the lesson I need and refuse to be taught?

I watched you leave slow
like autumn forgetting leaves,
bare, I stood in frost.

I didn't know longing until I couldn't find words anymore in a poem, my heart was once a vessel, it carries the abundance of love and death, but now it is an animosity of a futile hollow bearing the long gone memory of my craft.

it's like I wake up on the other side of the bed, it feels like it's someone else's now; the warmth, the scent, and on how their body leaves a mark, an indentation to it.

I've been a different person now, I didn't stay in the bookshop like I used to do, I just watch the people passed by through coffee shops like it's their routine or it's just the time continuously goes by without us knowing, everybody left. I seek shed in the slow burn moment love than to a fervent storm of it, that crashes all the halls I've long built; It's a deep shame to take what's mine.

She smiles only in pictures
Her hair is growing long

With eyes closed
Au coucher du soleil
Her voice is dulcet
Her laugh is nexus

"Take me with you," she says.
"We'll make kites, we'll steal land."

The gentle arrival of rain
In the blue hour of
The portrait gallery
Makes her qualified to dream
About a serenade of water
And the blueberry boat

Sky so blue,
we walk as one.

Wind so soothing,
our fingers brush.

Eyes so deep,
I couldn't return.
Or maybe,
loved, then lost.
POV- You were unable to look away from her/him.....

I knew your laugh
before I heard it.
I felt your warmth
before you touched me.

We stayed side by side
even in silence
even as time ran ahead.

We stayed side by side
in the quiet of us.
hey listen!!...
yes! you...

we met again,
two strangers,
carrying the same memories.

time stopped too,
when our eyes met,
whispered hello.

but this time,
we walked away,
knowing the future.
right time, right person.... just not fated :)

Fog
For the second time, I'm five
watching the rain pelt the ground outside,
contained behind the glass which
fogs with the heat of the kitchen.
My granny laughs at her own jokes,
leaning over the kitchen counter cutting
up vegetables into boiling water.

To yearn is to suffer
A burden of desperate comfort
The gasps of air your lungs cling to when

trying

not

to

drown
Thoughts on attachment

twinkling, sparkling...
the night sky is bustling
tints of silver mingling
fragments of memories dwindling
fingers tingling
walking and cobbling
a nostalgic feeling
as i stopped, idling.
i sound like a grandma ;-;
