Soft Words
With Love
Genre: Love
Theme: The rest are unedible
Sean Achilleos Jul 2018
Under attack once again
From those who make themselves available to him
By now one would think I'd be use to it
He knows my weakest link
How to distress me
He knows who to send to me and when
Who is vulnerable and who is not
Whoever allows themselves to be used as a pawn
Surely shall get used
No deposit required
While payback awaits
Most are used unknowingly
Driven to say and do as if instructed by an invisible force
Blinded not by the light
But rather by the darkness
However there is a weapon to be used
A weapon that will and can disarm
To master the art of knowing from whence it comes
Then to ignore it

There was a writer
Who once said
Let me write about you

He tried to weight
Pious
Kind
Connected words

Seem
Less appropriate
To describe her

He knew noble respect
She deserves

She is different
She is special
She is disciplined

Without wings, she is an Angel
She is from the outer world
With a newer height

She is the answer
The lifeline
The key

Being blocked
He thought hours
Struggling to defy gravity
Wrote a note
Confessing

She is a part of me

Granny was asked,
“How it happened?”

She replied,
I was following my dreams
He was following something

And It was,
the same way
and the same direction
and for the same cause
at the same time

For a fraction of second
Time paused

Dream met reality
There after

To be precise
Here, we are living
Life of a dream
Beyond a fiction
Genre: Romantic
Theme: Safe landing

Looking through the eyes
The Sun whispered to the Moon
You are the timeless
One life is not enough for

To this, the Moon replied
I reflect your light
Be there till infinity

And this was the first
Historic love story
Ever known

Testifying forever
Genre: Romantic
Theme: Still we witness

Far beyond the time
Close to the thoughts

Exists the empire of a heart

Feeling full of progress , it's processing me,
Recycling my past and bad dreams you see,
Florida boy in a gallon of heat,
Who the hell gave you permission
To speak,
Girls I deal with are a close case to me,
This recipe sure smells good to me,
In the midst of people throwing dirt on me,
Will always remain having enemies,

Versatile,
Even in this matrix that we call home ,
We ain't alone,
Fake smiles,
That laugh upon me like the joker from the animated tv,
Winter,
Heart is cold even for my family also in a crisis,
Don't tempt me,
I ain't a killer , you know the rest,
Anxiousness inside my chest.

Wait a minute.
‎is there ever a link between us in this place tonight?
‎you didn't just reject me,you clipped my wings.
‎there's no links,
‎to the table I bring,
‎a new kind of fling,
‎the devil in the pale moon light sings,
‎the father and the mother gather up dreams,
‎the dragon and the pregnant woman's aura screams,
I could be all romantic, but you just leave.
‎that's alright with me,
could've been the one to show you what the world had to offer,
‎Give you the right medicine,
‎I could be your doctor,
‎Steal your hear from another,
‎like the phantom of the opera.

We're only as weak
as the chain
                that holds us together.

For what ever is brittle makes us weaker
and it is better to break,
being  reformed in a more stronger form.

Never let others be your weak link,
                           let them break.
And you become stronger than you were before.

Walking onto this stage,
Feels more like a cage to a faceless audience
They're out there looking for answers,
They're asking what you would do
Until you wake up and there isn't a soul in the room
Except the walls are personified and they're screaming at you
"What's your life plan, kid?"
"That's ridiculous, you should just quit."
"You can do more, even your best is a dead end street."
"Wipe the smile, this is work, you don't deserve to enjoy it."

I quit trying to ever write for anyone but own
So why do I feel like the crowd keeps growing?
They keep asking where I come up with the words to continue,
This eidetic memory makes me relive everything I've been through
My future self is making these poems take form
I'm Link and this is my Song of Storms.
So when I take a breath, I know my time isn't due
Felt the warmth of the day, made it a night without harm.

Standing out on this stage,
I realize this whole image is useless,
Throw down the mic and give a face to the faceless
I don't have much time, don't make me second guess if I waste it.
It's funny, the nameless strangers tell me I'm killing this game.
The people who speak frequent act like the hydra has 50 heads unslain.
I'm confused how people seemlessly seem to relate success with stress
They're ****** I paved a path without losing my mind
These walls can scream all they want
I'm self-made and made it my own, the audience is blind.

I am nowhere lately
Pacing in the city
Closing my eyes
Seeing a desert
Sitting in a cave
Then I'm gone

I am nothing lately
No sound
No feeling
Like embracing the wind
Like thinking you can touch a cloud
Knowing it's just smoke

I am endless lately
Just floating
Slowly dissolving
Now scattered
Are these parts still mine?
Who am I now?
