No weatherman warned me
About the downfall of you

About the pouring out of emotive soul
Which encompassed the morning

In a matter of seconds, falling
Like a haze of pensive dew

And now I cannot unseen the sight
Or the falling skies of you
When the rain falls inside, as well as out. This one's about a memory. But not at all about me.

blushing prince Aug 2019
watching the same collage video on a loop of
leaves drying up
snow melting under the surface of a sweating floor
you leap up to grab me but there's only a cloud of moonlight coming through your window
you feel the arresting tackle of all the butterflies leaping out of your chest with rapid eye movement like the eyelash kisses you would give the mirror
the fluttering turning their wings into  heavy blades that leave a pinkish glow on your chest

my name was worn out that spring and you never learned to turn the light on at night
Her hands trembled as she reached for what
lie in front of her,
a sight she hadn’t grown fond of.

A face,
nearly scarred from the time it
laid in the hands of another.

Poorly treated once before,
unfortunately all to familiar with the rough touch of a lover.

One who is supposed to guard
and protect you,
is soon the one to turn
and beat you to the ground.

A fear she had kept hidden inside,
not wanting anyone to know the truth
behind her brown eyes.
Glazed over
and protected by a thick black line,
to make her feel pretty.
Even though with one swift move,
he made her feel like the ugliest
person to breathe in the oxygen
that he share.

And soon she knew,
that in her hands lie a mirror

and the face she seeks,

was her very own;
staring back at her.
we all have secrets, let me share one.

You are a servant in this ****** world,
But give an order like a king.
To open the door, you have a password.
You live in a room that out of spring.

Could you open your soul to the wind,
But that wind is just in your head.
Or could you let go of your sin?
With a new game, you would start instead.

You will deal the cards in a new way,
Aces all just for you, please be sure.
Then show them your talents today
And drowning your dream in a moor.

Every day you wear a new mask,
Once humiliate others, then belittle yourself.
You will never fail or interrupt task.
And continue to fight with Nothing.

You rejoice of tricky riddles,
Trying to unravel the void.
To get rid of all the sadness
You've been by cigarettes destroyed.

You will return to the empty house,
Where only the echo speaks to you.
Inside of yourself, you find the last forces.
To understand that what was the truth.

Drink some anger at night,
But before try little tears.
And tomorrow starts over with light.
Just don't howl like a dog with fear.

Scars on the inside
are prominent to
the one that wears them,
but invisible
to humanity.
Thank you for reading my poems. It took a long time and lots of encouragement from some amazing family and friends for me to finally post my work.  Thank you C. Love, Sheela, Court, Todd and Syd.

Let me show you a new way to love,
And maybe we can love again.
Let me wear you like my skin,
Let me enter you and fill you within.
I want to be as closer to you than,
Your body,
Your mind,
And your spirit.

The warmth in the cold,
Brings new life to something that is dead.
Let me in and our love can be born again.

Wrist deep inside now,
Shoulder deep inside now.
Waist deep inside now.
Knee deep inside now.
Ankle deep inside now.
All the way in now.
Curled up inside now.
I’m as close to you as I am to myself.

"I don't love him anymore" , my mind convinces me.
But still he lies somewhere inside my heart.

~your smiling queen :)
