I guess you never meant
A single word you said.

I guess you never chose me
But wanted her instead.

I guess it wasn't right
To love you more and more.

I guess you weren't worth
Holding on and fighting for.

I guess every little thing
Was merely an illusion.

I guess I tried my best
But you wanted perfection.

I guess I'll move on
Or I probably won't.

I guess I have to keep guessing
What you mean and what you don't.

My old friend, you've done it again.

You turn the lights out when I can finally see,
You stain my fingers with ink you use to write me letters so cruel,
You scream at me deafening words of hatred,
You let tears flow from my eyes without a sense of pity,
You point out my wrongs the way you like to pick the prettiest flowers,
You push me into the smouldering flames then you're in awe of the way I glow,
You slit me with a blade and watch the blood flow, you say it's as beautiful as waves dancing.
And you do it, over and over again.

Believe me, I wish I could let you go.

I try to run away in the dead of night
To get rid of you, to forget you

You never seem to leave.
You follow me like shadows on asphalt,
You leave your traces in my favorite blouses,
You vandalize my bedroom walls,
You lurk in the corners I confine myself to,
You're in each window I pass by,
You hide under the sheets I sleep in,
Your sobs echo through my ears in the middle of the night,
You're in the mirrors I look away from,
You're in me.

You are me.

Strangers creep and float through the streets
Spirits filled with experiences
Weighted by regrets
Or elevated by happiness
Each one with a past,
They are close, but their thought seem afar
There´s one who catches your eye
Her hair is badly dyed,
Many would take time to criticize
But maybe something happened one day
Hopeful at the saloon for a change
When a call about a soul ´s demise
Took her out of the place
Forgetting about everything else
Not prepared for a loss
A mom dying with no cause
Who would stop to think about hair?
Would you see her in the same way again?
Now that you´ve opened your brain,
Now that you´ve dared to wonder?
Maybe presently, the deep blue curls
Match better with the sense
She might have felt that cold and dismal day
Maybe she should change to a red
Strong scarlet implying the anger
The feels she may get at night
Expecting mom back when she just won’t.
But I might be wrong,
My mind can have floated way too far
Trying to answer something I will never know
The history of the unknown.

Maybe I am just wrong with my guess
And she just has the worst tincture taste.
When I´m in the streets I like observing people and guessing their past, creating conjectures about their history. This popped in my mind when I was on the bus and I felt the need to write it down. Hope you enjoy it.
Our bodies are sustainable machines
Our fuel is not visible
Unless put into a color
Green, blue, red
Know this
You'll never be able to tell what someone's fuel is
You can only guess and
Guessing is desiving

I like his confidence, that working the problem
will certainly result in better outcomes than guessing.
A rationalist who does not depend on a higher power
to direct his decisions, but who may concede,
observe, realize and accept that he lacks the data
or the skills or tools to interpret data and these
decisions he leaves to his god.
                                    But not before
thoroughly assessing the limits of his power. Guessing
before guessing is necessary makes things worse. The skills,
tools and experience are the accumulated wisdom
of earlier experts in his field.
                                    Yet each generation
of communicants must examine the assumptions
from which the mathematics, logic, science or law
was derived. Rebuild the proofs from the simplest
truths, laws, physics. Taking God's first and only words
and extrapolating correctly, getting the trajectory
right for successful take off and re-entry.
                                    And then
to explain the derivations to your students.
Until they too can care for the species and the planet,
making whole sentences, formulas and melodies
from few words, numbers, notes.
"Let's work the problem, people, let's not make things worse by guessing."   --Apollo 13

I am a stick of wax

The thread within me is lax

I brighten your night

With my yellow light*

What am I?

To get anything past me
You may need a flatter and a lie
But I see everything
I'm much smarter than you are

Love doesn't need a match
It only needs lust
I was caught in my own web
I knew this all along
You lied
I couldn't decide wether
To be naive again
Accept your unscheduled excuse
Fold it into truth
And leave it
Lying in the sun

all of these words that come into my mind when someone says your name
I wish I could string them together in a line and tell you just how much you mean
I wish I could tell you how I feel because all of you is jumbled in words that I just can't make the sentences to tell you
I wish I could make sentences of the pieces of the memories I had with you so I could tell it like my favorite story so it would never be forgotten

Broken old gravel
Not a fixed sight for travel
Masked faces
Walking to every lonely places
Not a beauty of buildings sites
Just living in horror and full of fright
