Pointed nose jumping
between shrubs, glowing orange,
Playing hide and seek.
Story Oct 2017
As the fog settles in the fields
Relaxing into cold dew drops
Heavying the wheatgrass
Bending to kiss the warm earth
I, too, bend under a weight.

While the fox is lost in the arcane
Frantic and shadowed
Shifting obscurely in the underbrush
Shivering from the dark and damp
I, too, shiver in obscurity.

I, too, shiver in obscurity
Shivering from the dark and damp
Shifting obscurely in the underbrush
Frantic and shadowed
While the fox is lost in the arcane.

I, too, bend under a weight.
Bending to kiss the warm earth
Heavying the wheatgrass
Relaxing into cold dew drops
As the fog settles in the fields.

Numerous were the people that did turn away from the Truth
and worshipped Ignorance
Saying “Oh, lead us in the ways of true Ignorance,
for the truth we love not.”

Then they were sent forth to find the truth
and destroy it.
And their God did say unto them:
Where truth grows in abundance –
plant lies, so that there is confusion.

Where truth stands as a monument,
chip it away.
Where truth sounds forth like music,
Blare your falsehoods louder.

Where the truth shines brightly
obscure it with shadows.

Deny the obvious.
Eschew all reason, logic and evidence
that does not please you.
Above all else repeat the lies
and repeat the lies
and repeat the lies
and repeat the lies
ad infinitum
These are the ways of true Ignorance.

Slow Southern Blues
a'cappella

Been so **** down
looked up to see the ground
Been so **** low
then I arose to stand tall

In those **** times
I couldn't walk at all
that was when I just
had to crawl

So **** alone
I didn't see a soul
I was so **** glad
just to see a happy fool

There was that time
I heard my children sing
Then I awoke and it was
all a **** dream

Been so **** tired
I couldn't sleep at all
Been so **** sad
I just had to laugh

Been so **** long
I never will forget
I walked too **** far
Too **** late to quit

The fox he got his hole
and the bird his nest
But a **** man like me
got no **** place to rest

Still and on I go
until the bitter end
A **** man like me
will just begin again

My greatest sin
was ever loving you
Surely once
you were almost true

In every way you know
my love was shown
But now your heart
is the devil's home

You told your **** lies
and some still believe
But in the end
your gonna' die from grief

They'll dig a shallow grave
to cover your disgrace
But until that time
I don't want to see
your **** face

There will come a day
when you know
you've been wrong
But surely then
I'll of left
and be long gone

Then you'll say
I knew him back when
Hear me say
Go to Hell
Go to Hell again

If I live to be
a billion thirty-three
God will **** you all
for what you done to me

If I die the day
before yesterday
God will **** you all
for what you would not say.

Conservatives cannot admit
that the White Nationalists were wrong
"But what about Black Lives Matter.
But what about the Alt-Left.
But what about what Fox News said.
But what about what our ******* cartoon of a president said."

Think for yourself.
You are feeling bad for Neo-Nazis.
They killed people.
They have a history of killing people.
They would **** everyone that isn't white.

This country has become disgusting.
A large portion is defending the actions of terrorists.
White Nationalists, ISIS--
They are, literally, the same.

You cannot be peaceful
when it comes to Nazis.
By sympathizing with them,
you are condoning them and creating more.
The only good **** is a dead ****.
Be a ******* person,
think for yourself,
recognize true evil
when you see it,
you brainwashed *****.

you risk tears if you let yourself be tamed
the fox say-ed
the little prince remained
for some time exchanged
names and soon gained
a friend.
the little prince changed
rather than stay the same
to train
the fox. it soon became
time however that he needed to explain
his plan of him going away.
the fox was deeply pained
yet maintained
his supportive claim.
the fox remained
and things stayed the same
yet both of their wishes are stained
of possibly being joined back together again
I really enjoyed the book..I don't know so much about the poem :|
Red fox runs across
Rocks carpeted with moss, leaves
Paws move like the Spring.
Scarlet Niamh Apr 2017
She was small, quick, agile; a red fox darting
through the forest, quiet as the moon.
She was the fox and he was the hunter,
chasing her like owls chase the stars.
Those never-ending forests were an infinity
of dark limbs reaching from the earth to grasp
at the sky and pull it closer, and they circled
one another in its depths. Slowly and curiously,
she moved closer, only to dance and shift away
when love's embers began to settle within his eyes.
She began to run once more and did not stop until,
one day, the hunter became a fox
and she turned around to look him in the eye.

Tonight I had a dream,
a dream of dread and loss.
Everyone on their places,
everyone on their roles.
The homeless Fox,
the maneless Lion,
and the tagless Dog.
Everyone's there,
everyone but me.
I'm the nameless animal,
all pity and praise on him.
See me as I laugh, see me as I cry.
As I have all of them
as guests in my mind.
