Come far away, come fly away.
It’s another day in the sun.

don’t know where to go, just followin the road
running won’t change our fate.
where does the highway go to die ?

We’re too far now
I feel the breath of a gun on my neck
I can already feel the crows staring to peck
all we can do is wait till they come.

Come far away, come fly away.
another day in the sun.

waiting for the crows to come
Time to face what we have done
there’s nowhere left to run.
How long stands between us and a shot gun.

Come far away, come fly away.
It’s another day in the sun.
Till the crows come.

Fly
Sometimes I just want to hit my feelings with sticks.
That’s just how it’s been since the crucible of our connection.
You made your funny little jokes and everyone loved them, but no one knew how it felt to be on the other side.
If only you would let me spread my wings and take off.
If only.

Nobody can truly know
how when the nights comes and the moon rises high in the sky,
I close my eyes, excited to take off to the land of dreams,
because I know you will be there.
Waiting for me,
smiling at me,
sitting on a bench in the park with me.
Nobody can truly know,
how immensely happy I am in those non-existent moments.
But they exist, they really do.
Just not here,
not in this cold world.

Take me away, let's go far away
Together let's fly, let's meet on a ray
Up in the clouds where pain fades away
Tell me a story to light this world grey.
If that'd be a dream, I'd pray and I'd pray
To never wake up, forever to stay..
Until once again, I will find my way.
I had a lot of fun with this one, hope y'all enjoy it🩷

A lowly caterpillar
Inching her way to a leaf
She spins her chrysalis
The sun rises and sets many times
But she does not see it
Because she has hidden herself away
In her cocoon
But finally
She begins to emerge
And she is no longer a lowly caterpillar
She has grown wings and can fly away
To a better reality

Once there was a day that never ended

A call that was once missed
I sat with my grandmother
By the running of the garden's fountain
She was calling back her children

A mirror that once shattered
I settled my cousin down
To the ghost of this house I once ruined
And I was tidying up the place

The nights have been long this year around

But I am burning deep in my drive
To engines that will soon let me fly

Into that missing night
I'll let them celebrate my birthday

A fruit fly flies by:
There's enough apple
For us both.

How could I get hopes up high?
Heart was far too heavy to fly
And body lacks a pair of wings
Tried to come despite these things
Why did I not expect the worst?
Can't imagine being put first
I cannot imagine how it feels to be needed
Can't imagine not being poorly treated
Losing is a task at which I excel
Don't let me go through more hell
Don't allow me to fall further than I am
Won't ever again about me give a ****
It hits me with sadness to see you don't care
So wistful because I have nobody there
To know other thoughts take up your mind
Disheartening and I can't help but wonder if you're blind
I cannot hug you because you are physically too far
Can only sigh and wish upon a star
Distance our enemy keeping us from peace
Every day forced to spend alone makes interest decrease
