I am a cold winter breeze,
and a sharp pulsating heat at the same time.
I can make the tips of your toes applaud your existence,
Or make the ducts of your eyes wish
that they had never been placed upon your body.
I'm tired.
Tired of fading into the sheets you made me cry into.
So now i'm not going to sit around and be another
broken,shattered species.
I'm just going to be a fierce ocean.
Your soft lips to all my lips
blow hot
breath everywhere
Your tongue to my tongue
taste me
everywhere
Your fiery desires to fulfill all my desires
cry out loud
love fountains everywhere

Five years hiding
preparing and binding
reading and writing
Five years bent over old crumbling scrolls
weaving old words into wards
molding spells of fire and lightning

Five years  plotting underground
in an unending round
of clandestine sabotage
with knives and lies

Five years to find men and women,
willing to help him atone
and the tyrant to overthrow
Five years to forge
them the swords and axes
shields and armour
that would crash and crack,
splinter and shatter edge to edge
for the sake of
his soul

Five years to the day,
the bells and trumpets rang
The horns were blown
and drums beaten
The earth was shaken
as the host marched forth

Five years to the day
the banners were flown
and in defiance of the dark king
the white pennants bore a fiery eye

At its head hooded
strode a man with a glowing staff
unbent unbroken and unbowed
proud, determined and uncowed
ready now at last

Under the mountain
The dragon does sleep
His silver and gold
Under guard does he keep

Make haste, flee away
From his fiery breath
For his eyes they see far
And his claws they bring death

He flies through the sky
With a vengeance filled mind
An anger undulled
And unwearied by time

His enemies burn
From the flames of his tongue
He slays one and all
From the old to the young

And once he is sated
He slumbers once more
And pray ne'er again
Will we hear his great roar
Worth a lot--
Yellow, Shiny, Metallic,
Gold.
Yet no one wants me,
Left over,
Saved,
But no longer necessary to keep.
Yes,
Worth more than what
Is esteemed to be,
But not useful.
Wanted,
But not for what I am.
They want a change,
They no longer want me.
So I wait,
Just to be thrown
Into their fiery furnace again,
To be burned.
But what am I?

Gold.
Skewings Definition: leftover scraps of gold leaf saved for remelting.
The repetitive sunset strikes again,
Seeking to withold all the power from within.
Striking without pity,
It beholds the truth silently through its benevolent fiery.

Yet alone it will not taunt,
As it requires an army to persuade its almighty flaunt.
One alone may not fight this war,
As the sunset will strike again and dissipate the power from afar.

Exacerbating all its forces upon the person,
Igniting a flame so passionately fortressed.
Vengeance may arise to the unforeseen eye,
Subtlety making its way through barriers once denied.

All throughout the tenacious journey,
One will realize the reality in obscurity.
Elucidating the truth as it becomes prevalently set.
One will wake up and become the sunset that was once a threat.
