it's sad to realize and hurts to see
how humane is it to be human
and the worst that could be
for I see people turning themselves apart
delusional with false sense of pride
they are just beautiful faces with an ugly heart
written upon the pretext of jealousy and false appearance

That silly smile you give
With your deep red wine lips
The bubblegum chatter you oblige my days with
They craft out symphonies of mayhem incessently

The jet black ocean dreamers eyes
That blush out the moon in its prime
And once eyes meet
A smile trudges along and greet

Beneath the smooth black sheet of hair
Eyebrows sharpened and with a smiley wink
Th raging velvet satin black hair
That flow like ink out of ****'s imagination

The slender fingers you swing
Look like an aussie serpentine
The incessent wandering eyes
That twist and take you for a ride

The cheeks that radiate with hues of pink
Its like cherries perched on a rosy sheet
Your face is like a razor blade
Melts away the expression it drains

Your face reanimates and moves like the moon
As the sun goes goes only to reappear
You are eternally here
You sparkle along and shine like a precious gem

Your changing mood
Your face expresses like the phases of moon
It Keeps a little beuty
And sometimes a shimmer of mischief

Someday somewhere maybe you will see a snowflake
And someone somewhere might drown in those eyes
Everywhere you go.. You leave a little piece of yourself behind
You envy of davinci, the muse of humbert
Like a dagger with a crystal glaze
You will give cinderella a run for her fame

Every year is the same,
same people,
same places,
same time,
same faces.
They bring me their labeled tickets,
the same ugly tan-colored, black-inked tickets.
Bent and smudged as if it went through their wash.
No time for conversation,
not even small talk,
only the same old.... hello.
They sit, they smile, they leave.
They sit,
on that same old boring brown box,
"Feet placed where the red exes are please."
You think they'd already know that by now.
They smile,
tilting their head to the right,
their eyes looking directly at the lens,
looking as if they were hypnotized.
They leave,
the camera flashes bringing them back to realization,
they release their breath,
"Goodbye!" They say,
"Have a nice day!" They say.
Who I wanted to be is who I am not today,
who I wanted to be is not where society has placed me,
who I wanted to be is what society calls a joke,
who I wanted to be is free.
A photographer.
Not here working for life touch taking pictures of the same bland faces,
I imagined myself... flying,
Like a bird traveling around the world,
Capturing every moment I see,
Where the natural light glistens across the landscape,
where i can direct the poses of my subject.
But instead,
i'm stuck here taking pictures for life touch
of the same people,
at the same places,
of the same faces.
this is my first time posting a poem.
i do not work for life touch.
a soliloquy is an act of speaking one's thoughts aloud when by oneself or regardless of any hearers, especially by a character in a play.
(so im acting as if i were working for life-touch but i really wanted to be my own free photographer).

I wretch
My chest in my hands
So precious with its soft blue glow
The helpless weakened flickering

I reach out to the blur
Desperation overtaking
Each spinning around and onward
A cacophony of faces each more terrifying than the last
Laughing with their empty eyes
Each smile a twisted tear on the opaque visage
The cracked and blooded lips spit

Crawling, I offer my light

Fix it

Fix it

Please fix it

A swirling white cloak overtakes me
It’s gaping eyes and contorted smile
Staring through me apathetically like a worn mirror
It’s head snaps as it comes closer

I reach

The tangled tendrils twitch as they envelop my light
Empty holes looking at nothing
Growing darker
The tear twitches, bleeding
Turning downward

The hold loosens
My light discarded like the rest
The cloak dissipates back into the mass
Laughing again

The light flickers

I wretch

There are 7.6 billion people
Scattered around the world---

        but there are twice
        as many faces...

   some are smiling
   some are smug
        some have their feelings
        totally swept under a rug
   some are breaking
   and some in derision
        and some still waiting
        for their salvation

Some will run
And some shall walk
    But in the billion people
All they really do is talk----

There are a trillion faces
Infesting over the globe

       but only half of them
       are truly people.
There is approximately 627, 900, 000, 000kg of people and approximately 8, 300, 000, 000, 000kg of plastic currently around the globe. Essentially there are 13 times as much plastic mass in the world than legitemate people.

Everyone has one.
But everyone has multiple.
I know many people
But I know only one.
Everyone puts on a face for you
and another when your gone.
Pretty self explanitory what this one means

I saw a face today
Thank God I knew his name
All I can remember really is that there was nothing deep inside
nothing seemed to be the only thing that remained the same

We talked of times since we met
And how it felt for him to watch me be
As the world did nothing but let us lie
No angel ever came
No angel ever saved me

It was just a face I knew
Then he left and I let my mind run free
I walked blinded through a bunch of faces that I’ve seen
There were voices telling me
Keep walking you forgotten friend
Then for days I didn’t say a word
I just met eyes with faces that now seem unknown
Faces I don’t think I’ll ever know

One-Two-Three-One-Two-Three
These are the steps I take
One-Two-Three-One-Two-Three
At the Masquerade Ball!
One-Two-Three-One-Two-Three
I hope that I will wake,
One-Two-Three-One-Two-Three
before my smile is stitched on.

The mask I wear is oh so pretty,
that no on can turn away.
If only they knew behind all the glitter
that my heart is feeling quite bitter,
at the fact that I must always pay
for being without some pity.

Smile and nod, smile and nod,
is what my parents say.
Smile and nod, smile and nod,
and it will all be okay!

Oh mama, papa,
you know that to be untrue,
for I as your daughter
saw the reception,
and your faces looked so blue.

So many unfamiliar faces
Swirling round me again
Picking up the pieces
Of those fallen in...

Take up the call
Find thine own place

Can you follow past
Where you last
Fell down?

Take up the call
Find thine own place

Journey farther than
Before!

Take up the call
Find thine own place

Again you go.
