Close your eyes and listen,
Smell the aroma in the air.
Roam where there is no WiFi,
Wander without a care.

Take the scenic route,
Get outside and explore.
Stroll through the woods,
And walk along the shore.

Dream with your eyes open,
Make the day all yours.
Do more than just exist,
Enjoy the great outdoors.

My hands pull
the horizon down

charting lands unexplored
by my eyes

the horizon tossed
to the floor

the world has
never looked this

beautiful.

I have charted
many similar maps

But none of
those I wanted

to get lost
but now I

don't care if
I forever stay

wandering.

I stare into
those celestial constellations

and study the
stories they tell

worship the fire
that now ignites

the hearth within
this ramshackle skeleton

Finally
My
Flesh
Grows
And
I
Can
Feel
Love(d).

Passenger seat.
Windows down.
Sun in my eyes.
Love sits on my left.
And there's trust
In the breeze.
We create little expeditions,
Until the real freedom comes.
Adventure glints in both set of eyes,
And we long for that day
When the world is completely ours.
As for now,
We walk on the edge of the limits,
Trespassing sometimes.
The wind blows through our hair
The sun gleams in our curious eyes.
One day we will never be apart.
One day adventure will have no limits.
I try not to complain,
For the adventure will always be there,
Paitiently waiting for us.

Should the earth be but a quiet manor
A palace in forgotten elder oak
Where what used to fly, a threadbare banner
and all-conquering poison ivy chokes
Well, we'd explore every nook and cranny
leave no dusty, unread book on the shelf
our nose for secrets would be uncanny
until we know it better than ourself
No immovable stone will be unturned
No forgotten corridor will be unwalked
until all its riddles we will have learned
and every bolted door has been unlocked
for we discover what the world conceals
and go until the last secret, we steal

It hurts to hear you say I am crazy
Although I know it is true
Love brings out lunacy in me
I am only like this when im with you

Thoughts of touch drive me mad
When gone wonder who you hold
If you would answer your phone
Some sanity I could uphold

Instead leave me in our cold bed
Choosing friends and fun over affection
I stay loyal by your side
Conflicting emotions pull me every direction

Was not psychotic when we met
Never have been the jealous type
Your behavioir has proved you're a traitor
Evidenced by tears I cobtinue to wipe

After many lies and stories
I am not sure what to believe
I lost my mind, paranoid
Obessessed over the way you deceive

If I could I would vanquish the sickness
Each morning bad weather we find
Want to calm impending storms
Can't reach your marvelous mind

Dreams of delusional lands far from here
Thoughts and ideas cannot be contained
I do not care if you are sane or not
These issues can all be maintained

I understand I am too much to handle
Want to save you from insanity
Afraid craziness will consume you as well

We wake at sunlight and nestle in at moonlight,
Stretching the day with our toughest fight.

Hour by hour, we hustle for power,
Dull today, tomorrow it'll shower.

Hold back on decision, for you risk derision,
Venture not, its not your mission.

No not this ticket, its too expensive,
No not that man, he will leave you pensive.

Remember those opportunities you wanted to unlock,
Well its just too late, the coffin mocks..
