Melody Claire May 2015
In the isolation of your car gliding on the freeway
and a dark sky,
I sat shotgun wearing the least clothing possible
and got goose bumps from
cool leather against my skin.
But nothing scraped my bones as much as your kiss on my lips.
Exhilaration pumped through our veins.
We drove to Mexico
to be caught in a Rain storm
We spent stacks of cash
And kept each other warm.

A sunlit narrow path cleaving
       overgrown green hedge, both ways,
such exhilarating surprises, it too can offer,
but would one expect, in the first place?

On my track, I stand arrested hold that flower,
that made my heart jump, in my front,
felt being washed inside out
                 by a kind wave, transformed.

The flower, romancing the sun
         still is on it's branch,alive
didn't feel the temptation
to pluck it like many times before.

Even the beauty's name is unknown to me,
     just another hibiscus,amidst her  cousins,
"I love the one next to her, the purple one"
said a female voice, a wayfarer like me.

Standing by me, she adoringly looked at her favorite,
I had no hesitation to accept it, like mine.
no ranking makes sense, each has
own quicksilver tongue, if you 'd listen.

"Look at you! how pleased you look
I love the folks, that adore flowers!"
she sounded like a skylark, hands of
evening sun caressed her, we are kindred spirits.

"You have wide eyes like girls,
    eyes seeking beauty reflect it"
we held hands like childhood friends,
long lost, looked at each other's eyes.

Isn't it the feeling one try to capture and define,
when trying to say what poetry makes to happen?
it's there, a tangible feeling, if you know what it means,
on our separate ways we went, gifting what to keep for ever.

I fell asleep to the sound of the ocean

the waves reminded me of the way you repetitively touched me -

softly and fiercely, all in one motion

and I wish I could feel that same exhilaration one more time

The question regarding the question relies on what the question really is.

If the question implied is a question directed outwardly, then it may be misinterpreted as a question to oneself internally.

Otherwise, a question explicitly directed inwardly is critical to deciphering the question that one will address outwardly.

If an indirect question is questioned through the user, then the question itself becomes a metaphysical question to choose from.

In the event a question is said through alternate means, consider the quantitative/qualitative state of the question at the time being; as it may be resolved by asking the question in a subconscious level indeed.

Superficial means tends to seek fundamental questions to the reality of the state one naturally possesses.

In the case where the unconscious decides the opportune event to question the conscious reality, one must interpret the means in examination of the intrapersonal mentality.

If the question is imposed through correlative thought and subliminal expression, then the question itself is related to a parallel conscious state intertwined with the unconscious state of mind of progression.

If the question is relative in combination to the solutions mentioned above becoming apparent, then one has means to ask the question without questioning the question itself in disparate.

Otherwise, the question continues to perplex the question through the continuation of irrelevant questions that one will have thought; creating a treacherous belief so concurrent one could not have fought.

Therefore, is the reality of the question portrayed to the reality you live in or the reality of others? As this poem was conclusive to subtly evoke thought in the questions we construct.

The thought of the question was introduced to me whilst reading Carl Jung's book, Man and his Symbols.

You are something newly discovered,
rare and beautiful to me.
You are my waking and sleeping thought,
and most of the ones in between.
You are a puzzle,
a question with answers undiscovered.
You are a song,
constantly rising on my lips,
You are a melody,
my heart aligns its rhythm to.
You are you,
and you are perfect for me.
I did it! I moved on!

The kiss that stopped time
I was there
I heard the hearts beating
I saw the gentle pressure applied through fingertips
I heard the giggle
Like I wasn’t even in my own body producing the sound
But I felt  h i s  lips
Softly morphing to mine
Running my hands through his soft hair
Down to his neck
I inhaled
The scent of a man
I wanted to continue forever
But, as they say, all good things must come to an end

What about something that’s not only good,
But truly heavenly?
I lost myself in that  k i s s
Time stood still
I forgot everything except him
There was nothing bad
Only warmth
Kindness
Exhilaration

I don’t think he  u n d e r s t a n d s

When I’m near him  m y  body heats up
My  h e a r t  beats faster
I can’t look at him because I’ll stare
He’s too beautiful for words

I wish he knew how wonderful he is
