The children of the moon are born with golden wings,
flying through the cosmos, travelling worlds and visiting stars.
They pick at the shackles of their realities, hoping to find another,
with glazed eyes, lunar-powered minds and beating hearts.

Sleepwalking in the day, daydreaming at night,
Fluttering their wings as they wear their hearts on their sleeves.
They are the Dreamers, moonstruck wanderers, who dream
to bring truth to their stardust-sprinkled make-believes.

Look at you,
You’ve forgotten the solace of your mother’s warmth, the succor of your father’s love form
Look at you,
Begotten by one worthy pair and yet having failed to grant them an ample heir
Look at you,
Failure, you wayward daughter with eyes caught in the confines of dreams
And yet you’ve seen everything there is to see.

We are all dreamers
in a world of slumber.

What might have been lost?
if I never see you again

I call your eyes
one of the dreamers
and your eyes dart
across the room

always above my head
like you're watching
shooting stars collide

I learned you are
a body of water
elusive and mystical
flowing between the gaps
of my fingers

always slipping
through my fingers

I know that
your life will rotate
perfectly
without me

But I wish
I could be the compass
always guiding
you home

From the perspective of those who dream;
Follow the sun.
Little rays of hope can create a whole universe of your own.
Follow the sun for it may be your ultimate victory in creating a world filled with goals and desires, that can extend in ways you may never imagine

words from a conversation we had days ago echo in my mind turning into a lullaby, softly coaxing my eyelids shut. welcoming deep sleep to my weary heart.
each part of our souls intertwine to create a perfect panoply facilitated by the moon.
you and i under the same sky, all of a sudden the displeasures from the day before slowly melt away into the dark nighttime.
in the syzygy of our cosmic hearts we bask in the ethereal glow encompassed comfortably by the stars and moons.
involved in a state of a constant somnambulism so i never have leave the blissful reality conceived in my subconscious.
dreamers indulgence, walking hand in hand, free and filled with halcyon in the safety of sleep.

Within the collecting cloud banks

you’ll find my wandering mind.

roaming seas, wont you restore my sanity?

Pouring rain on a tin roof, here soon

the morning dew will distribute minerals

to be absorbed by the parched desert.

Blue sheen streams across these slopes.

Surrender & recline, with you

and float into a dream state of mind.

merging breaths ripple outwards and fogs

beyond the blinds.

In life,
not all is as it seems

said me . . ,
. . . . to me

whilst chatting in a dream.

Poetry by Kaydee.
That poem you write when you dream vivid dreams.
