Sudbury dreamer
He is not the only one in Sudbury
There are a few alike him in Sudbury
Sudbury dreamer
This morning, and everyday may we be reminded
Of the blessings we enjoy as a result of
Living in America
May we remember the price that has been paid
For that freedom
All through the years
Let us realize that this freedom is not guaranted
We can loose it someday
But for now Sudbury dreamer we must enjoy it
Of one of the things you make who gets that special piece?
Who gets the best and most cherrished?
I never meet anyone that has courage like you do
Besides you stand high
Because you are sitting in a high stone
Sudbury dreamer
You got to get right
And see it for yourself
You are living for God
And when you tell your
Story about God
It is so rewarding when I listen to it
It is wonderful to know that God has changed your life
And you are somebody new
I saw you looking in the mirror and adjusting your hair
Sudbury dreamer
You are not rich enough to buy your past
But lets not get into it
In the past you were immature
And today you are more mature
You know what life has to offer you
You are not a fool
You don't look to me like one
Sudbury dreamer
Tingly grip the quill
Puncture the wrist
Sign your name on the dotted line
Appease the devil's wish
Or stand up and fight
Pull out the fiery sword
Pick up the shield of life
Fend of the devil's hordes
The first path is simplest
Living with ease on earth
But the perpetuity after death
Is infinitely without myth
Sudbury dreamer
Waiting for you is like
Waiting for a rain in the drought, useles and disappointing
Because I want to spend sometime with you
But I can understand
We walk different paths
You always take the shortest path Sudbury dreamer
I always take the longest path Sudbury dreamer
Because I live further Sudbury dreamer
And you live near that bay
Sudbury dreamer
Each broken promise
The shattered dreams
Cascading down
In glistenning stream
Deep beneath the surface
An abundantly supply
A revoir of despair
Never to run dry
If only the Sudbury dreamer could clutch it
That outward shell
Fold it in on myself Sudbury dreamer
Like an imploding cell;
Hold my breath as I watch you Sudbury dreamer
My sorrows drown,
The weight of your sins Sudbury dreamer
Pulling me down
Sudbury dreamer found you
And he is searching for your hand
Sudbury dreamer
The constellation will change
Big dipper's handle
Will be pulled to the south
And orion lose his sword
Before the last pain is gone,
Says the stone
I
Am alloting my share
As the fountain glitering dust
Springs up and falls back into itself,
All the Sudbury dreamer's days come from somewhere inside me
Dole out in a bowl of stone
There is a calm light around old trees
They let the wind flow through there leaves
And the star pas high over their crowns
In majesty procession

Dreamer dreamer on the wall
Give me dreams that will make me crawl
ones that hold all of  the night
one filled with delighten fright
Dreamer dreamer on the wall
Give me your thoughts
Big or small
I want to dwell in dusted drawers
The ones that have been opened once, now no more
Dreamer dreamer on the wall
Give me my lover whom stood by me so tall
Help me collect our ashes that flew
let us leave our rotten memories for the fresh morning dew
Dreamer dreamer on the wall
Tell us your ways not to fall
Whisper the grooves on paths we must bend
Will our minds find galaxies we can comprehend?
Dreamer dreamer on the wall
Can evil be a portrait for anyones hall
do we learn darkness by loosing the light
Or does it come from the lonesomes bitter fight?
Dreamer dreamer on the wall
Oh my dreamer are you there at all?

Dreamer (I)
ryn Jul 2014
A self confessed dreamer
One that knew no bounds
Can't keep his mind in tether
It's always fleeing from the grounds

He'd always been the dreamer
Picking the shackles of reality
Always hopeful of finding another
A safe haven, an escape, a sanctuary

Madness is thought of this silly little dreamer
Forever bartering reality for a life of fantasy
"He's moonstruck", said one to the other
Obstinate still he chooses to wander free

Alas one day, he stumbled upon a jewel
Glistening, deceivingly within arm's reach
But a beautiful game was played so cruel
Fate wouldn't give easily what it could teach

Glimpses of undefined beauty
Himself drawn closer to this beacon
He craves for this gem so madly
Didn't care for what's to happen

He descended to the surface
One thing he just did realise
That the jewel wasn't in its place
But a reflection of another in the skies

He looked up, he spun and he squinted
Attempting this search he had just begun
For a moment he found himself to be blinded
For the jewel is indeed the sun

He marvels at her beauty
Till his eyes turned red and sore
But he doesn't stop even briefly
For she's the object of his adore

He gazes at his newfound muse
Till the day grew dim and late
When she sets he would hesitate and refuse
To return willingly to his ****** state

Through promise he returns daily
To catch his sun as she would rise
For she fills him with aplenty
And she listens to his forlorn cries

He loves her much as she did him
In each other's magic the two would bask
As time flits by, the day grows dreadfully dim
Too short a time from dawn till dusk

The dreamer waits patiently
As dusk turns to dawn
The dreamer waits painfully
For she will come then she'll be gone

This rise is somewhat special
For his love he had made known
She admits the love is reciprocal
For him her love had also grown

But the dreamer will soon come to realise
Out of reach his sun he can never kiss
Her bountiful love will be the ultimate prize
The prize he can never claim to be fully his

"Silly little dreamer feeding your childish dreams"
"Silly little dreamer what fanciful notions you make"
"Silly little dreamer you'll be ripped at the seams"
"Silly little dreamer not every heart you just can take"

He pays no heed to what the others say
He knows his chances run exceedingly slim
He's walking on tightrope that's doomed to fray
But what happens today is what really matters to him

I am that silly little dreamer
Whose feet is never on the ground
I have chosen to live part of my life in wonder
For it is you that I have found

DREAMER
David Abraham May 2018
Dreamer, dreamer,
you always wake up as if you haven't slept,
and all it is that you've kept...
the fatigue of your trials,
the soreness of your miles,
the torment of the lifestyles.

Your sleep is all dreams,
stemming out from your river of life like streams.
You dream of everything that you can't do,
and what the world deems impossible.
Incomprehensible,
to everyone but you.

Dreamer, dreamer,
is there anyone to watch over you in your slumber?
They could give you a number,
of the hours of your rest.
It's long enough to slip into dreaming,
but lately it's seeming,
not enough to give you energy.

Dreamer, dreamer,
if you ever sleep enough, if you ever don't dream,
you'll notice the fatigue doesn't go away,
but you hope it will anyway.

You're scared to find out,
so you keep on restricting your time in bed,
even though it's slowing down your head.
I don't have a doubt,
you're tired beyond dreaming.

Dreamer, dreamer,
there are things to take for your rest.
You try your best,
oh dreamer, you do,
but there are some things you just can't do.

Dreamer, dreamer,
how do you do it?

This isn't actually about anybody. It's loosely based upon me just being very tired, but it really has no subject. It was just an idea.

Call me a dreamer
Because I believe
Things can be better
Then what we achieve

Call me a dreamer
Because I'm inspired
Believing I can pull us
Out of the pit we're mired

Call me a dreamer
For not giving up
When all that I see
Are things being corrupt

Call me a dreamer
Believing there's hope
That we can crawl back up
This slippery *****

Call me a dreamer
For not giving in
To the dizzying effect
Of how they always spin

Call me a dreamer
For what always seems
To be an assault on me
For my believing in dreams

Call me a dreamer
For the thousands of days
I patiently made my way
Through this maddening maze

Call me a dreamer
For believing someday we will create
A world without anger
In a world without hate

Call me a dreamer
Because I give a ****
Call me a dreamer
Because that's what I am
1 Beautiful dreamer, wake unto me,
2 Starlight and dewdrops are waiting for thee;
3 Sounds of the rude world heard in the day,
4 Lull'd by the moonlight have all pass'd a way!

5 Beautiful dreamer, queen of my song,
6 List while I woo thee with soft melody;
7 Gone are the cares of life's busy throng, --
8 Beautiful dreamer, awake unto me!
9 Beautiful dreamer awake unto me!

10 Beautiful dreamer, out on the sea
11 Mermaids are chaunting the wild lorelie;
12 Over the streamlet vapors are borne,
13 Waiting to fade at the bright coming morn.

14 Beautiful dreamer, beam on my heart,
15 E'en as the morn on the streamlet and sea;
16 Then will all clouds of sorrow depart, --
17 Beautiful dreamer, awake unto me!
18 Beautiful dreamer, awake unto me!

consolation is a prize set upon golden sands that my feet are no longer invited to tread upon

solace is a faraway whisper that is only loud enough to be heard in my dreams,
and when i am woke,
all hope proceeds to dwindle,
and solace has gone forth to a new home,
and i am left to a melancholic hum which pierces my ears like the tip of a steak knife,
and i am left to sit
and dream,
but how doth the dreamer sing when all that is laid upon him is sorrow,
and how doth the dreamer pray when the exodus tears him apart from his mates,
and tell me how doth the dreamer love when all his life he hath known pain?

how does the dreamer live,
when he doth not see the light of the stars any longer,
when he doth not feel the warmth of the sun upon his nape,
when he doth not feel the wind outside his window?

the stars have gone dim,
the sun hath frozen outside of his dreams,
and the wind doth try to blow him away

away,
far away,
is that what the dreamer longs for?

what does the dreamer long for when life no longer fits his fancy?

i can say,
i* do not long for death,
but maybe i do,
for i am like this dreamer

i once longed for the stars to envelop me in their light,
and the sun to shield me with it's warmth,
and the wind to wrap it's breeze around me

but now i do not know what i long for

the dreamer hath decayed,
the life has begun to rot,
the moon has begun to fall out of the sky,
and i am afraid of what peril i,
the dreamer,
may face
started out strong then it got rather weird, but still. glad i could put this all into words..

Be a dreamer. See all the beauty despite the peril. The joy in every strife.
Be a dreamer. Reach out for the impossible. The illusions in a distant future.
Be a dreamer. Live out the opportunities. The ones where only dreamers can perceive.
Be a dreamer. And see the world as it should be. Alive and vibrant.
Be a dreamer. Wonder and be surprised.
Be a dreamer. Dream the moment and build the life of a free soul. Unrestrained and glorious.
Be a dreamer. Paint the colors of your dreams. The world is your canvas.
Now that I think about it, this was my very first poem. To all the dreamers out there who are always the odd one, always misunderstood, always in his own world, this is for you. I'm never ashamed of being a dreamer and having my head just over the clouds despite people telling me that I should change.

A dreamer dreams,
A man sees.
But the dreamer was never a man,
The dreamer is the greatest voice of all mind.

A dreamer dreams,
A  man sees.
But the dreamer was never man.

Now the world has become so dull.
The dreamer is lost in a sight of darkness,
The dreamer is lost in a night of a thousand storms.

Dreamer,
Were you ever a man?
-DREAMER OF DREAMS-
Dreamer dream endless dreams-
Dreamer dream of you and me-
Dreamer become reality-
Dreamer no more fantasy-
In hale with me Dreamer of dreams-
Blow faster then the wind has ever seen-
Fight me Demon of dreams-
I am determined to be more than you can believe-
Together we are an army-
Of harmony-
Alarming-
How beautifully starving-
We have become-
Lay me down sun-
Dreamer of dreams-
Your beautiful even if you can’t see-

Richard Itskovich
If you've loved a cowboy
You know it can be tough
A cowboy's soul is different
They're made of sterner stuff

A cowboy loves forever
They are always moving on
But one thing bout a cowboy
That love is never gone

If you love a dreamer
You have to see in space
You know you've got a dreamer
You can see it in their face

A dreamer sees the future
They have to know what if
Thoughts always in motion
Flowing water, never stiff

Cowboys and Dreamers are one and the same
Loving one or the other can be a strange game
Cowboys look skyward to lasso the stars
Dreamers catch starlight and they put it in jars
Cowboys and Dreamers they have the same mind
Cowboys and Dreamers are the best loves you'll find

A cowboy's a loner
They believe what they see
They live by a code
Of what will be will be

A dreamer sees something
Where others ask what
They can not keep grounded
And they answer, why not?

Cowboys and Dreamers are one and the same
Loving one or the other can be a strange game
Cowboys look skyward to lasso the stars
Dreamers catch starlight and they put it in jars
Cowboys and Dreamers they have the same mind
Cowboys and Dreamers are the best loves you'll find

A cowboy who dreams
Is the one you should rope
They know that true love
Take work, not just hope

A dreamer can cowboy
They'll see the same stars as you
They'll lasso those stars
And they'll want the moon too

Cowboys and Dreamers are one and the same
Loving one or the other can be a strange game
Cowboys look skyward to lasso the stars
Dreamers catch starlight and they put it in jars
Cowboys and Dreamers they have the same mind
Cowboys and Dreamers are the best loves you'll find

You can love a cowboy
And a dreamer as well
If you're unsure of which
Ask your heart, it can tell

A cowboy has dreams
A dreamer inspires
They're one in the same
Burning two different fires

Cowboys and Dreamers are one and the same
Loving one or the other can be a strange game
Cowboys look skyward to lasso the stars
Dreamers catch starlight and they put it in jars
Cowboys and Dreamers they have the same mind
Cowboys and Dreamers are the best loves you'll find

Don't fence in a cowboy
He'll just move along
A dreamer must dream
To not would be wrong

Come along for the ride
No matter how hard it seems
Whether cowboy or dreamer
Hold on to those dreams

Cowboys and Dreamers are one and the same
Loving one or the other can be a strange game
Cowboys look skyward to lasso the stars
Dreamers catch starlight and they put it in jars
Cowboys and Dreamers they have the same mind
Cowboys and Dreamers are the best loves you'll find
Little dreamer
Dream me a fountain
I'll throw the coins
And our wishes will come true

Little dreamer
Dream me the moon
My life is dark
When I'm not with you

Little dreamer
Dream me your love
I'll let you have mine
When your eyes are closed

Little dreamer
Dream me the world
And we'll make houses
Out of fairy tales

Little dreamer
Is dreaming all you can do?
Oh, little dreamer
Maybe I dreamt you

they say i'm a dreamer
they say i dream too much
but is that even possible?
to dream so much that
you run out of dreams?
that would be a sad thing really.

they say i'm a dreamer
they say i dream too much
but is it something you can limit?
only if you give in to the words
and stop believing in the limitlessness.
that would be a sad thing really.

they say i'm a dreamer
they say i dream too much
that i'm wasting my time
but am i?
my days are brighter with dreams
they give me hope for the future.

they say i'm a dreamer
they say i dream too much
is it because they have none?
so they choose to accuse
and discourage an innocent soul?
maybe they need hope for the future.

they say i'm a dreamer
they say i dream too much
and i set my goals too high
and i should be ashamed of myself
but i'm not. i love who i am
because i'm a dreamer.
