Your name became my favorite sound.
It would always make my heart pound,
and even make my head spin around.
You’re different from the rest I’ve found.
how did you get me feeling this way?

What I feel
Can't always have words
Something about me is
Different from the others
Having to live in this world
I always wonder
Do I really belong here
Or is it just a dream
I will wake up too
Feeling and heart

His hands were so soft,
I never thought I’d be able to hold them.
His eyes were so sweet,
they were captivating like a bright gem.
His smile was so tired,
it was one of the fakest smiles ever.
He’s so out of reach,
but my time with him felt like forever.
He made me feel something I never felt before

“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

We aren’t the same.
I always thought I knew your heart.
Maybe I still do,
But I know we come from different starts.
Your pain isn’t my pain,
Your memories aren’t mine.
Alone I feel lost in this world of ours.
The same notes, same seasons,
They will never reach me the same.
In a way I’m cut off from every single thing you make.
But your words are conceived in bringing us together,
So why can’t I be content even in things I can’t remember.
Singing songs in separate states.

Succulent flourishes
a brief sense of essence
fleeting life within a blade of grass
cutting reality by a sliver
rational itching sensation
overwhelming pit of doom
distinct summary, concluded
the life we call ours is no more
falling one by one in a green field
filled with dread and suspense
being consumed with blinding greed
Not sure where I went with this.

To see the world
It opens your eyes
Experiencing cultures
And their way of life

No words can explain
The emotions can be much
To gain something new
And have a fresh outlook

Constant learning of different ways
Broaden your being
It grows you as a person
Humbled, grounded & joyous

Heat and dryness of the desert
The openness of the ocean
The world so vast and extraordinary
With so many things to offer

Music, food, traditions
So different yet the same
Benefitting worldly wisdom
With a great deal still to wander
