They say diamonds are a girls bestfriend,
Well Lucy in the sky still ******* with
diamonds,
I can make it in this world yes I can,

Its hard to be a woman or man,
It's hard to make those dividends,
That revenue , that income man,
Incoming man , there's a meteor full
of poverty and hatred man,

swift breeze,

she was shining like a bright diamond beneath the moonlight sky,

her skin was pale and soft,

Her eyes blue, secretive and true,

an elf she was,

fairest, wisest and most powerful of all beings that walk the Earth,

and yet a creature so beautiful and so wise,

of which was a shocking decision for others,

I took my diamond to the pawn shop
but that didn't make it junk@
though I didn't get much money for it
just enough to buy a meal

what makes something junk
when you come right down to it
if it buys you a meal
and can satisfy a need

when you come right down to it
what value can we give
to satisfy a need
when we swallow down our pride

what value is there really
in any things we have
if they swallow up our pride
like useless diamonds pawned

value, it seems, had shrunk

pawning doesn't make it junk
if it satisfies a need
even with its value shrunk
pawned diamonds make you free

show just how fragile I can be

Be blind to the goods I bring.

curved,
shattered,
scattered,
in the process
sometimes we lost ourselves,

With exquisite words
Adorned with priceless gems
Of 'love' and 'life'
