AD Letwixt Oct 2018
Little dewdrops on the yellow grass
Shudder slightly in the morning light
As the colors change from blue to white
And I feel the warm sunlight on my face

Dew

~
Her sweet dewed her fringe
to her forehead.
She had nibbled on the
ivy with leaves of gold
which she turned to powder.
Her eyes filled with passion
as she cups her hands to
drink the flame-laced
syrup born on from
Falling moons

Writer's block is slowly going...
Lyn ***
my sheer
wend this
goal when
score is
low and
pasture is
blue as
our chronology
indigo that
boogaloo in
the steps
that triumph
with such
adversity that
group in
a mantric
frost again
A frosty night

Riches begot with credit stock
Power bestowed with golden crown
Glory bequeathed with laurel wreath
Marriage beseeched with diamond ring

I hold you 'til the morning dew
Slight modification to my preceding poem with essentially the same meaning, but it changes the tone from pessimistic to optimistic.
Blade Maiden Aug 2018
Morning dew
kitchen smells of last nights stew
Sleepy eyes brew
Coffee for two
Words, many or few
We simply follow through
I touch your hand like to sew
Two hearts that are true
A soft kiss on awakening lips too
Welcome the warmth between me and you
Me and you and morning dew
Like a drop of dew I condense—
Onto a leaf where I sojourn.
And as swiftly as that I fall
Beneath the clouds
Hand in hand with gravity
Offering zero resistance.
