Bitter Senses May 2017
When you write the bible of your life
Remember that the ink is indelible,
Hundreds of threads stretching and crossing each other
The shape is locked and secure
In whose hands
Maybe I'll call it God and you'll call it nature,
But isn't that just a trite?
Just remember, oh please! remember,
Be careful when you cut that pillow open
And blow the feathers into every corner.
You can't collect them back
And life is just like that.
just me trying to remind myself that while mistakes are not unforgivable, they remain in the book of life and every little decision we make here, although  it doesn't have to define us, is capable of causing the butterfly effect. every little movement of ours changes everything

The table has been laid
The cards shuffled and spread
It's all or nothing
A bead of sweat dripping

It's a one-way street
You can’t turn around
Stop in your tracks, think
But take heed, there's no going back

Like a sword to its mark
Swinging a wide, graceful arc
Slicing through doubt with fear
Don't try to return my dear

Fly over the mountains
Soar over the hills
Find the sea yonder
With the wind in your sail

Are you staying away?*
No, you don't need to answer
I've already felt your presence lesser
But within me you are still my love forever.

Why is it that I'm different
In any of your undefined treatment
'Cause your sending them emoji
While you haven't even chatted me

I am not jealous of that
it is just that I don't know the reason why
I am different from others.

You taught me to share the things to you
But now I don't know who to talk to
Im hurt by your shift of treatment
'Cause its not you who is cold and best in ignoring
People come and go . So we need to move on and let go

Her heart beat at each crossroad
and her breathing demanded her not to slow
so she dosed herself with the signs and senses
and let the blood flow to deep crevices

Decisions, not an answer she could steal
From Everything, her gift was not to feel
But empty, oh empty brought pain
It was narcotic, keeping so many sane

Everything, Compelling Everything;
thought you had a way for me
Right under your nose, I fill my senses to the brink;
making me feel just so beautifully

Everything, Oh Everything,
how could you possibly see?
I love the way you keep on laughing
at us for breathing our own fatality
I want to improve this, but I would like feedback before I do so . . .

Salt in my veins
Revolution in my heart
Letting loose the reins
Finally getting a start

Twenty four years later
After my birth
Grabbing the Mercator
******* in my girth

No longer ignoring
The calls of the shores
Set forth exploring
Opening the doors

One to a lake
Largest in the West
My option to take
And call it my best

The other a sea
Foreign as mars
Alien life to me
Whole new set of stars

This is my option
Can't be made haphazardly
Not sold at an auction
No time for jackassery

Interviews lined up
Will tell the tale
One for a backup
Should I likely fail
Rhyming is something I do, one day I may leave it behind for the artistic imagery of poetry. But til then rhyme away I will.

Change starts
With the formation of habit.
The simplest action
Will flip that switch in your frontal lobe.

The reason we call
What we do on a regular basis
A habit,
Is because we live in the decisions we make everyday.

She
She just sat there,
With the ring in her hands,
Thinking,
Of every word he'd ever said,

The smile on his face,
And the joy he'd bring,
The place where they met,
And how her heart bloom like a flower in spring,

She just sat there,
Wondering of what's next,
And without a word of care,
She thought of the future in place,

She just sat there,
"Nothing's left for me",
Said it'll soon be over,
With nothing but a sip of this,

Take the shot,
please don't blow it,
unless i lose it,
I'll never know it,
feeling like i'm ten feet below,
on the slippery ***** , to what hell has to offer,
i'm glad that you know,
the things that we cherish, we lose,
i know that this life isn't proper,
Take a shot,
i command you,
but i don't wanna,
swear i can't stand you,
lord please just take the wheel tonight,
no more promises to fight , if you promise me we would stay
up all night,
stranger than a twilight,
trash is another mans treasure,
find it on sight,

thinking how long have i been in this condition besting all my other personalities of when i'm drunk infesting way too many signs of intoxication in ways that i would think is not good for the human brain,
if not then i don't act the same,
With life struggles you can erase,
work hard to replace the things that have been impacting all of us,
but the last of us don't need to say a thing,
locked up and get life in jail or don't really better yourself at all,
like dominoes , one day it'll be your turn to fall,
please don't let the serpent win , but you just wanna hang out with the boys,
please don't let the serpent win , but you just wanna get high with the boys,
please don't let serpent win , but you just wanna commit a crime with the boys,
oh look! the serpent at the finish line and its on you,
my boy that was your choice,

Take the shot,
please don't blow it,
unless i lose it,
I'll never know it,
feeling like i'm ten feet below,
on the slippery ***** , to what hell has to offer,
i'm glad that you know,
the things that we cherish, we lose,
i know that this life isn't proper.
