kites riding the eastern breeze
inner child hiding in the canopy of leaves
singing to the tune of the birds
lies being highlighted by the omnipresent sun
bring to light what you buried, sweeter than my metaphorical cherry
you cannot escape what you have done, you must remember the ones you have shunned
even if it's only to take note of, what not to do
even if it feels too much, I know you could
even if the world is too rushed, you know what to do
going down the wormhole, deep dive
my memories come in handy, high five
to save my sanity as I live life
getting my light underneath the full moon
Wistful,  cheerless,
used  to  be  brave,
and  fearless.

Liars,  haters
have  been  walking,
around  me  these  days.

Charming,  well  educated,
that's  who  you  showed  to  me
before  you  shot  me

I  thought  you
were  charming.

I  thought  you
were  well  educated.

I  thought  you
 needed  me.

It's  all  gone
when  you  left  me.

I  was  just  looking
for  some  friends,
Now;  I'm  only  looking
for the  real  ones.

Couldn't  realize  which
ones  were  fake  before,
When  did  hellos  start
to  be  called  as  goodbyes,
After  some  while,  I
know  which  ones  are.

Couldn't  stand  to  this
anymore,  faded,
Feeling  so  alone  in
this  crowded  room,
Can't  love  like  this,
it  has  exceeded,
Feeling  like  I've
overdosed.  Wasted.

Every  colour  was  taking
me  back  to  you,
Every  mark  was  pushing
me  away  from  you.

Spring  hasn't  begun  yet.
It  was  not  warm  at  all.

Just  cold  with  sadness,
darkness  with  secrets,
strangers  with  lies.

Charming  strangers
are  everywhere.

They've  been  around
for  centuries.

They  look  like
Venus  or  Mars,

inside  they're
like  black  holes.

Pluto  who  I've
always  been.

An  outsider?

no,  no,  no

A  fighter.

down the street
i walk and stumble
seeking each and every trouble

falling over
slip and slide
on the verge of suicide

holding hands with my beloved
raise my eyes:
hey there! we rock it?

toot the tune,
demean demeanour...
dreamy soul and soulful dreamer

i move on, astute and weary
topping cakes with one drunk cherry

up the street
i go and climb
you with me? one hella ride!
hop in
not a thing you stand to lose

Cherry petals through currents of air
travel far to get caught in your hair.
Just as I travelled, woeful, worldwide
to find home here, at last, by your side.
Thrown off balance when first meeting you,
I resisted but fell for your charm
and strong heart that can never wish harm.
Blooming trees around you—what a view...
I reach out, set the pink petals free
from the waves of your locks—a brown sea.
Like a siren, you call—my head dips.
You're the one in control, don't you see?
My mind races, my pulse wildly skips
as I steal a warm gasp from your lips.
about finding home in another man, worshipping him under blossoming trees

Behind,
the season of snows and sorrows.
Bygone are its long frozen nights.

Spring brings
the promise of brighter morrows
and wonder to everyday sights.

I watch
as beautiful cherries blossom.
With them,
a light in my heart ignites.
watching cherry blossoms and letting go of the worries

Spilt blood seeps into the cracks of the earth
Floating gently down like a plucked feather
Deeper and deeper into the black soil
Which turns purple, slowly, like a bruised fruit
Carrying its infected blood to the core.
Festering roots grow, a tumour,
Which rises and bursts like an overripe fig
Into the open landscape below which it swelled.
Pink leaves hang from its twisted branches
And casts a black shadow submerging us all

pink snowflakes
litter my front lawn

they will melt away
under the watchful eye
of a summer sun

leaving only a stone
surrounded by fruit

I may be a smoker
but I still think of the fruit
when I hear cherry
