Time spent with you falls moment after moment,
onto the fabric of my soul,
as tattoo ink is irrevocably embedded into skin.
Even in your absence,
your late night whispers can be read on my skin
in all the places your breath once touched,
as fingerprints show on fogged windows,
longing once more to be touched
by the hand of a celestial lover.

My cigar smoke rolls into the
tranquil night sky,
tumbling through the constellations,
forming a nebula from my breath.
The glow from the cigar
lights up a little corner of the cosmos,
burning a hole in the universe-
a small escape for my pains,
because sorrow can't float to the stars-
light years away,
like the feeling of spirit,
separated from my celestial body.

Thy ruling beauty knows of us—
Who yearn, and scorch upon our souls:
The burden of imperfect world—alas !
Our body fate's—to perish as old moles!

Yet, don't be a slave to wrenching claws,,,,
'Cause fear is feared to cease too soon—ami;
And our debt to ancestors—the law !
Rejoice well—love's sorrows of la vie !

Thy brilliant light does know of us—
Who willingly beseech Thy Beauty,
With wistful wondering eyes at last !
See—Thee ! O, Fiery Flames of Duty !

From foreign land to our humble home—
Widespread is void by far—as I may know !
And yearns of hearts—heard in ev'ry dome;
*Subjected Harmony of Spheres to Love !

There is a place

Where moons remember
Romantic evenings shared between us two,
Their passion bed blue with fever.

The Sun is only heated by the thought
      of you and I,

And Stars cry out with desire to wish upon us.

Sun burns away the day, Night is born,
Wrapped in blankets of clouds, handsome lad.

Tell the stars that I am jealous of the moon,
For with the dying of each new day;

Crystal orb with swaddling of mist and light,
Nursemaid that she is-

She attends, O precious delight,
The infant Night!
This is an old poem of mine.

I used to be your sun
The only star in your day
That burns in the sky
But now I'm your moon
Who watches you over
Quiet in the shadows
Not a star anymore
Just someone you pass by
Because now I'm only
A single part of the night
That fades along with the dark
And no longer the reason
For you to wake up

Absolute magnificences
Held in richly woven garments
Arrayed in opulently fine linen
Washed in the light of ages
Adorned with sliver and gold
And they look upon you

The blink of an eye
Is an eye-opener
So much change
Eyes can’t believe
As if eyelids
Are pulled by strings
Puppetry of events around
Our vision in a time warp
Soul has already envisioned
The events here and beyond
Late we realize this
Trusting our eyes for guidance
Soul and eyes aligned
Gives a deeper perspective
Much beyond the surface of things
An eternal understanding
To foresee what we are and will be

I doodled a mini solar system on my homework today
It made me think about your eyes.
I want to travel through space and never come home
Go to the moon and never worry about the absence of gravity because your mind pulls me in just the same.

I always saw a fascination in the stars, the far away galaxies
Your eyes, the creases in your hands
The way these all formed together in a constellation
Exploding with stellar being
Everything about you was celestial.

Hours studying Zodiac signs left me empty
I needed to find myself in your solar system
Forcing life onto other planets
Deserted meteors I saw in your mind
I wanted to restore you.

As I looked to you I felt ablation
My mind melting away the ideas of horoscopes
Making room for you and your astro being
Never once wanting any sort of apastron
I awaited the chaos.

You are an evolved star
Burning out slowly, ever so
Sinking to be extragalactic
A place I never imagined
I was far from extraterrestrial.

But orbiting around you I felt the brightness of our galactic halo
Pushing deeper to reach your nucleus, I became your gravity
As one, our luminosity pressed tightly on all sides
Forcing darkness to disband, a large nova exploding from us
And now we are an elliptical galaxy.
