i would travel three oceans far
just to see your face
when it lights up
as you smile
Gods1son Jun 2019
It's the start of a new week
A Monday with a lot o' rain
The buses are running late
My shoes are getting drenched
The faces I see are far from smiling
Cars driving by are water-splashing
Such an atmosphere for anger to set in
But I let positivity reign supreme
I see beautiful things happening this week
So, I call it showers of blessings.
Stay positive this week no matter what surfaces. Choose to see the bright side of things.

The leaves all fluttered in imperfect synchronicity.
Like a dance,
unchoreographed,
yet so beautifully so.
The day was filled with flaws,
but the pure, effervescent blue sky
against the too-large green of sprouting trees
made all the rest melt away.
A hill that was covered by snow last month
now screams with yellow dandelions.

When humanity fails,
man may always return
to where we were never meant to leave:
to the blue, green, and yellows of nature.

I know that someday your eyes will be
Deeper than the ocean, a small oasis shining
Like a mirror for the Milky Way.

The Sun will paint your cheek with
Warmth and someone will think your hair
Looks more like a halo, shining
With gold, illuminating your mind
Like a crown.

Your smile will be fresh snow
At the genesis of winter, unable
To keep from basking in the sunlight
That drowns out the crisp sky.

Someone will know the brightness
Of your cheeks cannot be matched
To a rose or cardinal.

They tried to blind your hope of salvation with radiation
And burns thrown like envy
Against your heart, but the cross
That shields your spirit will never
Be used as a dagger against you.
Your laugh will ring like a symphony in their ears.

Someone will know the freckles
On your jaw are stars in the coldest night.
I wish I could say
Your arms are my security,
Branches bending away from the vastness of the universe.

But I cannot be the one who sees the glow
Of nature in your presence, still
Your hand upon my shoulder soothes
So I believe
That you will never leave me
And when the Sun blinds me with its gaze,
Melts its warmth into my skin,
I'll think of you.

Days of laughs and midnight blue,
From walking on broken glasses to morning dew.
Do you know where the blinding eyes lead you?
If you do will you still go through?

The ashes of past and the echoes of present,
Interwoven together with surprises enchanted.
Driven melodies of magic and miracles,
With moments of dry tears and laughless chuckles.

Waves of time against the tides of tries,
Deep you sink and high you fly.
As the sound of silence slowly reaches,
And closer the end of race towards the grave.
About life.

just as flowers
grow in the direction of
the sun
you shouldn't hide from
the good either
look at the bright sight of life

Roses pushed and plucked and found,
the sound of whats to be allowed,
Constantly at odds , you know me.

Soft and scored ,not making points,
Feeling sorrow through your joints,
Cracking like the glass , you know me.

Cowboys see the future too,
Don't know what fate will hold for you,
Hope the futures bright , you know me.

Being here for you is destined,
While I fight demons and the sins,
Forever in my heart , you know me.

You touched my soul
And heart like how
The sun touches the earth
In the morning and made
My world bright
For that i love you
Light of my life
I love you for being you
