wholly, am I thee?
truly, who am I desired to be?
sincerely, I plea for a decree.
please tell me
before I flee...
-elixir- Sep 2020
My smile was my flight,
while it was your fright.
The year of ambitions piled on,
as you prayed it begone.
My foundations of hope,
was beyond your tiny scope.
My soul and mind that governed me,
was the threat to your state of monarchy.
The steps I took for higher success,
made your mind filled with abscess.
The thought of my mind's own executions
was beyond the apparent permissions.
The sky's a limitless flight,
unlike your pitiable plight.
I have risen from your filth,
and left you with your myth.
I hope you grow out wings,
and fly away from your strings
of insecurities that taint your soul,
that once to me you sold.
FLY AWAY

I breathe in & my body relaxes
I breathe out & I let go
I breathe in & my body is calm
I breathe out & I smile

Learning
To
Breathe
Again
Slowly
Shallow
At
First
But
Progress
Little
By
Little
Step
By
Step

A cool breeze , makes me feel free
A cup of coffee or tea , is soothing to me ..
A lit candle burning, puts me at ease ..
A walk around the block, the children laughing makes me smile.
A cruel world, they know nothing about ..
I'm still Living in the moments, trying to figure it all out
Some days are harder than most ..
I find strength within..
I know I'll be okay ..
Never forgetting to breathe.
One day at a time.

Whimsical as it may seem
I still find myself
Getting lost in a daydream.
I look up, and look around.
Beauty surrounds.
Life gets hard sometimes,
That will always be true.
But I have found
Joy in the mundane.
I've learned how to breathe
Through the pain and anxieties.
To live mindfully.
What does it mean to
Daydream now?
To find peace in
Doing nothing—
Except watching the
Clouds.

and then, hundred little birds flew out

soaring into the azure firmament

green grass breathed freshness

finally, feels like I'm home
Breathe when you can♡

Close your eyes. Take a breath.
The pain you feel, the grief,
Won't be the death of you.
Because you've had this pain before.
And even though you're still sore,
There are still people
You need to be there for.
Who will be there for you.

So empty
At the hole just below my ribs
Like the air ****** from my lungs
Like a hard punch in the gut

Like a cold, empty, air-tight cellar
With only a small sad puddle
Collected by an incessant dripping
From a ceiling that's too dark to see

It's like a vacuum in my chest
Each time I breathe in
It threatens to cave in
And crush me
So I take shallow breaths
A few molecules at a time
And just hope that the day doesn't come
When I will have to face
The consequence
Of that Emptiness
